Harry doesn't want to be a wizard, he just wants to be a superhero

Chapter 74: This Isn't Dark Magic... Is It?
Even Professor McGonagall had drawn her wand, assuming a defensive stance.
Her emotions visibly shifted to disappointment, as if she were very let down by Harry's actions.
However, amidst this chaos and tension, Snape did not follow the crowd.
He stood there quietly, his eyes as deep and unfathomable as a dark pool, making it difficult to discern his emotions.
Even more astonishingly, the wand in his hand was not pointed at the center of attention, Harry, but was subtly aimed at the somewhat flamboyant Quirrell.
The professors' actions made the atmosphere in the air even more tense. Harry, seeing this tense situation, immediately realized that everyone had misunderstood, and quickly explained:
"No, that wasn't the Killing Curse, but a Disintegration Charm I created myself!"
"Disintegration Charm?" Professor McGonagall narrowed her eyes slightly, muttering to herself. The hand holding her wand relaxed a little, but she still said sternly, "What is the incantation for the Disintegration Charm? What does it do, and why is it so similar to the Killing Curse? You must give us a reasonable explanation!"
Harry explained the reason for creating the Disintegration Charm and its incantation:
"My memory has always been good, and even those distant experiences from my childhood still linger as fragmented images. I remember when I was very young, the Dark Lord broke into my house and killed my parents with a kind of green magic."
Harry paused. These memories were not pleasant for him.
Harry continued, "I heard the spell of that magic, 'Avada Kedavra,' and later I learned that it was the Killing Curse 'Avada Kedavra.'
Before I understood it all, I tried to recreate that green magic and successfully used 'Avada Kedavra' as the incantation, creating a Disintegration Charm powerful enough to disintegrate anything. That's the spell I used to defeat the troll just now."
The three professors and many young wizards fell silent. The three professors were more aware of the weight of Harry's words than the young wizards.
A first-year wizard had created a completely new spell based solely on vague childhood memories.
And judging from the performance of the new spell called Disintegration Charm, it was an extremely terrifying spell in terms of attack power, no less powerful than the notorious Killing Curse.
Wait, besides the Disintegration Charm, Harry also created a new spell called 'Railgun,' as well as other lightning-based spells.
Although the power of these lightning-based spells was slightly inferior to the Disintegration Charm, it was enough to reflect Harry's talent.
These spells alone were enough to make him famous in history!
Professor McGonagall's expression was still stern, but after hearing Harry's explanation, she softened a lot. She said to Harry, "Demonstrate the Disintegration Charm for us again, on the washbasin."
Harry did as he was told. A green light flashed, and the washbasin turned into dust, disappearing from everyone's sight.
"Indeed, it's not the Killing Curse. The Killing Curse doesn't have this effect, but this spell—it's not much better."
In fact, Professor McGonagall even thought that the Disintegration Charm was more evil than the Killing Curse.
After all, being killed by the Killing Curse still leaves a whole body, while being killed by the Disintegration Charm leaves nothing.
She wondered if the Disintegration Charm could disintegrate the soul. If it could...
That would truly be an inherently evil spell!
Seeing Professor McGonagall looking as if she wanted to punish Harry, Hermione and Ron were a little anxious and wanted to say a few words for Harry.
Hermione said, "Professor, Harry's spell only looks evil, but in reality, the effect..."
Hermione wanted to say that the effect was not evil, but seeing the troll's dust remaining on the ground, she couldn't bring herself to say it, so she changed direction and said, "But he was only trying to help his classmates. If he hadn't brought us here in time, I'm afraid Pansy would have been killed!"
Ron nodded vigorously, like a chick pecking at rice: "That's right, that's right!"
Hearing that she was mentioned, Pansy also stood up and pleaded anxiously with Professor McGonagall, "That's right, Harry is definitely not a bad person. If he hadn't appeared in time and stopped the troll, many of us would have been killed! You can't punish him!"
Ron continued to nod: "That's right, that's right!"
At this time, Quirrell stood up, with a false expression of righteousness on his face, his features slightly distorted by deliberate seriousness:
"Deputy Headmistress McGonagall, we must not easily let go of a wizard suspected of using a spell similar to the Unforgivable Curses. I suggest that we immediately notify the Ministry of Magic and then have the Aurors send him to Azkaban!"
"You!"
"Harry is not a criminal!"
"That's right, that's right!"
Pansy, Hermione, and Ron angrily rebuked Quirrell.
Professor McGonagall spoke, stopping the conflict between the professor and the students in time: "Enough, I will leave this matter to Albus, and he will handle everything perfectly."
At this point, even Quirrell no longer objected. As the White Wizard, Dumbledore's authority was deeply rooted in the hearts of all wizards, and even the Dark Lord was quite afraid of him.
Letting Dumbledore make the final decision meant that no one would object, no matter the outcome.
Finally, Professor McGonagall made a judgment on this incident:
"Consider yourselves lucky, since not many first-year students can compete with an adult troll, so everyone involved in the battle with the troll will receive five points each. I will notify Professor Dumbledore of this matter. You may leave, Potter, stay behind!"
Harry spread his hands. It was the familiar 'Potter, stay behind.' He didn't know how many times he had heard it in the past few months of school.
...\n\n...\n\n...
A burst of rapid footsteps broke the silence of the Headmaster's office. Dumbledore put down the finger he was using to tease Fawkes, as if he had expected it, and quietly waited for the guest to arrive.
Dumbledore nodded slightly, his eyes gentle but with a hint of scrutiny, and said softly, "Harry, cast the Disintegration Charm once more."
Harry nodded, looked around, and cast a green magic beam at the teacup on the table.
Dumbledore stared intently at the powder flying after the teacup disintegrated, frowning slightly. After a moment, the worry in his eyes gradually dissipated, and he breathed a sigh of relief:
"Rest assured, Minerva, this should not be dark magic. Even repeated use of the Disintegration Charm will not cause the caster's soul to fall and gradually descend into darkness."
Professor McGonagall also breathed a sigh of relief. It was great that this wasn't dark magic. She liked Harry very much and didn't want this promising young wizard to be locked up in Azkaban.
"Then what is the specific effect of this spell?" Professor McGonagall asked casually.
"The Disintegration Charm can disintegrate objects and souls, possessing greater lethality than the Killing Curse, and is more difficult to avoid!"
"Is that so?" Professor McGonagall nodded subconsciously, but when she heard Dumbledore's words clearly, she was stunned at first, and then her face turned pale instantly, and she asked loudly with agitated emotions:
"You're telling me this isn't dark magic? If this doesn't count as dark magic, then wouldn't the Cruciatus Curse become a children's toy?"
