Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs
Chapter 41 The old man I carry with me is Slytherin
At that moment, Lu Ke's hair stood on end.
Because he was a squib, Lu Ke couldn't make the patterns on the Marauder's Map disappear. After Johanna helped summon the patterns with magic spells at the beginning, Lu Ke kept putting the Marauder's Map in the advanced potions room in order not to be discovered by others. Inside the textbook, I just opened it for the first time.
After all, it's for safety.
But after just one glance, Lu Ke discovered something that was beyond his imagination.
There is a name beside Lu Ke.
"Salazar Slytherin..."
Lu Ke turned around and looked around.
He is the only one here.
Then Lu Ke raised his right arm.
Pallas flapped his wings and jumped from Lu Ke's right shoulder to his right arm, facing Lu Ke's eyes.
Lu Ke sighed helplessly.
"Are you surprised or surprised?"
He turned towards the stairs.
Pallas calmly jumped back onto Lu Ke's right shoulder and continued to enjoy its exclusive throne.
Lu Ke walked to the principal's office on the third floor.
"Snowball."
The monster stone statue remained motionless.
"Treasure Sundae."
The monster stone statue remained indifferent.
"Jelly slugs."
Lu Ke sighed, guessing wrong again this time.
"Ice rat."
The monster stone statue yawned, then opened its mouth wide and blew a long breath at Lu Ke.
Lu Ke looked calm.
Then the stone statue jumped to the side and made way for the entrance to the stairs.
Lu Ke nodded to the stone statue: "Thank you."
Then he climbed up the stairs and entered the principal's office.
Dumbledore was in the headmaster's office, sitting behind his desk, looking down at something.
"Professor Dumbledore!"
Lu Ke shouted as soon as he entered the principal's office.
Dumbledore slowly raised his head and smiled at Lu Ke: "I never told you the password for the principal's office. Did you ask for it from that professor, Lu Ke?"
Lu Ke shook his head: "I guessed."
Dumbledore showed an unexpected look: "This is a bit remarkable...Lu Ke."
Lu Ke took a breath: "Put this aside, I have very important things here..."
Dumbledore nodded and stood up: "So do you have any secrets to tell me, Lu Ke?"
Lu Ke nodded and took out the Marauder's Map: "You have to look at this, Professor..."
Dumbledore walked up to Lu Ke and stretched out his hand to stop him: "I understand, you can go back Lu Ke."
Lu Ke was stunned: "You know everything?"
Dumbledore shook his head: "I don't know. The secret is a secret because you are the only one who knows it."
Lu Ke sighed, he was helpless.
This incident was so explosive that even Lu Ke, who had always felt that Hogwarts was absolutely safe, felt that he should ask Dumbledore for help.
But looking at Dumbledore, he didn't want to know what Lu Ke wanted to say.
"Whatever you find, just do what you want with it."
Dumbledore patted Lu Ke on the shoulder: "You may not understand what the Guardian Oath represents. Hogwarts believes in you, Lu Ke, so I also believe in you. Since you will not do anything to harm Hogwarts, things, then I think there are some things I don’t need to know.”
Lu Ke smiled helplessly. He shook his head and looked at Dumbledore: "Is this really good?"
Dumbledore winked at Lu Ke: "You can think of this as an old man's laziness."
"Actually, the four founders left a lot of treasures in Hogwarts, and only people approved by them are allowed to touch them. You are usually a bit too boring, Lu Ke, go hunt for treasures."
Lu Ke let out a long sigh.
I don't know why, but he has really calmed down now.
Moreover, he was able to calmly accept that Dumbledore was ready to let go of the matter.
Lu Ke nodded to Dumbledore: "Goodbye, Professor Dumbledore."
Dumbledore smiled and waved: "By the way, how did you guess the order to open the door?"
Lu Ke smiled: "Your preference for snacks is a bit too obvious."
Dumbledore smiled nonchalantly: "I strongly recommend Ice Rat to you, it's definitely worth a try."
Lu Ke waved his hand and walked out of the principal's office without saying anything.
After walking down the stairs and coming out from behind the monster stone statue, Lu Ke stood in the corridor and let out a long sigh.
It was getting late, and senior students began to walk around in the corridor.
Lu Ke sighed and prepared to find a place where no one would disturb him.
He turned his head and glanced at Pallas on his shoulder: "You'd better explain it to me."
As if he understood what Lu Ke said: In fact, Pallas had always acted like he understood, and Pallas suddenly flapped his wings and flew up.
Lu Ke quickly chased after him.
He must not let the suspected Slytherin Pallas escape now.
An owl flew in front, Lu Ke chased behind, and they climbed up the stairs together to the eighth floor.
Returned to the door of the room where Lu Ke was tested.
Pallas then spun three times in the air.
Lu Ke saw a small door on the corridor wall.
Pallas returned to Lu Ke's shoulder.
Lu Ke turned around and glanced at the small door, then opened the door and walked in.
It was a very dark room with no windows on all sides and no chandeliers on the ceiling. There were only two candles burning in the corner, and the flames were crumbling.
Faint light illuminated a metal object in the middle of the room.
It was a strange-looking machine, with a frame supporting a crossbar, a metal helmet at each end, and a chair under each helmet.
All parts of this machine smelled of shoddy workmanship, even the metal helmets on both sides were just hemispheres.
Then Pallas flew down from Lu Ke's shoulders and stood on one of the chairs.
This seemed to turn on a mechanical switch, and it began to shake and make a creaking sound.
Then the chair at Pallas's feet began to rise until the metal helmet fell on Pallas's head.
Lu Ke nodded, walked to another chair, and sat on it.
Then another metal helmet fell on Lu Ke's head.
At that moment, Lu Ke heard a familiar voice.
"It's really troublesome. Are you so afraid of me, Lu Ke?"
That was Slytherin's voice that Lu Ke had heard during the test.
Lu Ke turned around and glanced at Pallas on the chair on the other side.
"Is it you who speaks, Pallas?"
Then the voice answered: "My name is Salazar Slytherin, not Pallas."
Lu Ke sighed: "Did you occupy Pallas's body, or did you create an owl out of thin air?"
"Of course I created one. I can't bear to be possessed by an animal. The owl you saw is just an illusion created by magic. It can be faked to be real."
