Harry raised his head, his eyes filled with a mixture of understanding and confusion as he met Charlie's gaze.

Although he didn't quite understand what Charlie's words meant, Harry still felt a warmth in his heart… Perhaps, this was the feeling of being "loved."

Harry couldn't help but think.

After a moment of silence, the look in Harry's eyes seemed richer than before.

He nodded earnestly, reached out, and, like Charlie, carefully stroked the scar on his forehead along the parted hair.

At this moment, the scar that had been on his head since he could remember seemed to awaken some strange power, becoming slightly hot.

But soon, the sudden heat dissipated again, as if nothing had happened, becoming no different from usual.

Charlie watched Harry's movements, sighing inwardly… There was no way, being able to tell Harry these things was already the limit of what he could do.

Because before Harry officially turned eleven, he shouldn't have any contact with the magical world.

Perhaps from this moment on, the original story would undergo earth-shattering changes due to himself, a butterfly flapping its wings.

Charlie couldn't help but think.

"I hope everything develops in a better direction."

He murmured unconsciously.

"Mr., what did you say?"

Harry, who had already lowered his hand from his forehead, looked at the distracted Charlie with a puzzled expression.

"It's nothing."

Charlie shook his head, pulling his thoughts back to the present.

He raised his head, looked at the slowly setting sun and the darkening sky, and said to Harry.

"It seems we've been chatting for a long time without realizing it… It's getting late, perhaps you should go back, Harry."

Hearing this, the light in Harry's eyes dimmed again, and he lowered his head and nodded reluctantly.

The joy and warmth he had just gained from Charlie disappeared instantly when he thought about going home to face the Dursleys.

To be honest, facing the faces of that family and that small, damp cupboard under the stairs, he felt a thousand times unwilling.

At this moment, Harry suddenly raised his head again, looked at the man in front of him who he had only known for a short time, but who had truly made him feel a warmth and love he had never felt before, and he suddenly asked, as if possessed.

"Mr. Charlie, can you take me away?"

The moment he said this, he regretted it. After all, it would definitely be very abrupt to say this to someone he had only met once.

Sure enough, Charlie lowered his eyes and slowly shook his head.

"I'm sorry, Harry. Although I really want to take you away from here, I can't—at least not yet. You must stay with your relatives… even if they are a bunch of bastards."

"Okay."

Harry lowered his head again, listening to Charlie's words, although he had already expected the result, he still couldn't help but feel sad.

After another moment of silence, Harry said, "Then… I'll go first. Goodbye, Mr. Charlie."

With that, just as Harry took a difficult step, preparing to walk in the direction of "home."

Charlie's warm and strong hand suddenly pressed on his shoulder.

"Wait a moment, child…"

Harry raised his head in surprise, looking back at Charlie.

Charlie smiled again, as if he had thought of something. He said unhurriedly,

"Although I can't let you leave that place, perhaps… I can help you teach that little pig a lesson, at least let him suffer a little, what do you say?"

Hearing this, Harry smiled again and nodded without hesitation.

It was obvious that if there was another way, he would have wanted Dudley to suffer a little earlier.

Seeing Harry agree, Charlie stopped being mysterious.

He reached into the inside of his coat and, as if by magic, took out three hazelnut chocolates, then handed two of them to Harry.

"These two are my gifts to you. Hide them carefully, don't let your aunt and uncle find out."

Listening to Charlie's words, Harry took the chocolates and nodded hastily, then lifted his clothes and carefully stuffed the two chocolates into the seams of his clothes.

After putting down his clothes again, he carefully smoothed out the wrinkles, so that others could not see anything from the outside.

"As for this one…"

Charlie held the last chocolate in his hand, gently tossing it up and down.

"Find a way to let Dudley find it."

After speaking, as if afraid that Harry would not understand his meaning, he raised his eyebrows at him and winked.

"Okay… I think I understand!"

With Harry's intelligence, it was easy to guess what was going on.

Although he wasn't sure what would happen, he was sure that Charlie had "added something" to this chocolate.

With a faint expectation for the "spiked" chocolate, Harry finally readjusted his mood, and after saying goodbye to Charlie, stepped onto the road back.

Charlie and Russell stood in place, using the light emitted by the streetlights to watch Harry's figure become smaller and smaller.

"Mr. Charlie!!"

Just as Harry was about to turn and leave, he suddenly stopped and turned his head to shout in Charlie's direction.

"Yes, what's wrong?"

Charlie waved at him from afar, responding in the same way.

Harry took a deep breath, then mustered his courage and asked loudly, "Will I be able to see you again in the future!!"

"Don't worry, if nothing unexpected happens, we'll meet again soon."

This time, Charlie didn't let Harry down again, he nodded, giving the child a definite answer.

And Harry, who had received the answer, finally smiled contentedly again.

Raising his arm, he waved vigorously at the other party.

With the final "Goodbye, Mr. Charlie."

Harry Potter completely disappeared from Charlie's sight, turning onto the street they had walked on before.

"Russell…"

Looking in the direction where Harry Potter left, Charlie suddenly called out.

"Yes! My dear Master Charlie."

Russell, who had been treated as transparent air and had disappeared, returned to Charlie's side again at this moment.

Hearing Charlie's summons, he hurriedly responded.

"What do you think of this child?"

Russell frowned, pondered for a while.

Finally, he shook his head.

"I'm sorry, please forgive Russell's stupidity, in Russell's eyes, he is just an ordinary child who can't be more ordinary. Russell can't see anything special about him."

"Yeah…"

Charlie narrowed his eyes, exhaled, and said with emotion,

"He's just an ordinary child who can't be more ordinary."
