Harry was very happy about Aaron’s arrival, he knew Aaron’s strength well. When he saw the half-open door, he thought it might be too late to wait for Aaron to come. As a result, Aaron was already waiting here!
Harry glanced at each other and pushed the door open.
With the quack of zhi zhi opening the door, they immediately heard a low bark in their ears. Although the big dog couldn’t see them, all of its 3 noses moved towards them, twitching and sniffing crazily.
“What is it at its feet?” Hermione asked in a low voice.
“It looks like a harp,” Ron said. “Snape must have left it.”
“It’s not Professor Snape.” Aaron said heartily, but if you tell what you saw at this time, you can imagine that they will yell and ask questions. That’s too much time. Anyway, they soon knew the truth.
Aaron stretched out the wand, causing the harp at Cerberus Fluffy’s feet to continue playing music. Aaron took the lead in moving towards the trap door. When he approached the three huge heads, he could feel the hot, smelly breath of the big dog.
Aaron opened the trap door and looked at it. It was dark inside. Harry 3 crept to Aaron’s side.
“There is no ladder here, how can I get down?” Ron looked at the deep and unmeasurable hole, a little timid.
“It seems we have to jump!” Harry said in a deep voice.
“Who wants to go down first? Do you really want to jump?” Ron said, “I don’t know how deep this hole is.”
While they were still discussing, Aaron lifted his robe, pressed the edge of the hole with one hand, and jumped down resolutely.
The cold, humid air passed hu hu in Aaron’s ears. He fell down, fell, fell, and then – thumped. With a strange and dull crash, Aaron fell on a soft object. He sat up and fumbled four times. Although his eyes have not adjusted to the dim light here, he knows that he is sitting on Devil’s Snare.
“Soft landing, you can jump!” Aaron shouted at the entrance of the hole, which now looked like a stamp-sized spot.
Harry jumped down first, Ron follow closely from behind, 4 on the ground.
“What kind of game is this?” Ron asked as soon as he opened his mouth.
“I don’t know, it seems to be a kind of plant. It’s probably spread here to ease the collision when falling. Come on, Hermione!” Harry yelled at the hole.
“Don’t move, this is Devil’s Snare.” Aaron had gently moved away from the pile of Devil’s Snare, and stood on the ground, warning Harry and Ron at the same time.
Harry and Ron wanted to learn Aaron to stand up, but they were already unconsciously entangled in their legs by the long vine. Hearing Aaron’s warning, 2 people were motionless.
“Hermione, it’s Devil’s Snare, be careful when you jump down.” Hermione just landed, and hearing this jumped up suddenly, struggling to move towards a damp wall. Although her reaction was already very quick, Devil’s Snare stretched out a snakelike tendril and wrapped her ankle as soon as she fell. Thankfully, Hermione finally broke free before the vine could hold her firmly.
Harry and Ron stared at Aaron eagerly, Hermione stood aside in shock, desperately thinking about Devil’s Snare’s habits. “Devil’s Snare, what did Professor Sprout say? Say it likes darkness and humidity…”
Before Hermione could fully figure out what to do, Aaron had already pulled out the wand, waved, mutter incantations in his mouth, and shot a blue bellflower-like flame from his wand’s head. In just a few seconds, Harry and Ron felt that the vines were shrinking from the light and warmth, letting go of their entanglement. The plants twisted, twitched, and automatically loosened the tendrils wrapped around them, and they finally broke free.
“Thank you for being here, Aaron!” Harry looked at Aaron gratefully.
“Hermione also thought of it.” Ron added.
“But I panicked and couldn’t think of a countermeasure.” Hermione was very ashamed. She usually works like that, but at the critical moment she can’t think of a way, far less than Aaron, who is also a good student. “It was Aaron who recognized Devil’s Snare, and he solved them. No wonder that many professors admire Aaron. Aaron, you are indeed outstanding.” Hermione looked at Aaron with admiration.
“This is not at all, as long as your Herbology listens carefully, you will find out in time. Of course, Hermione is great, she guessed this is Devil’s Snare.” Like to persuade students to learn.
Harry and Ron looked at each other in blank dismay, deeply felt that they didn’t know Aaron deeply enough. From a warm and amiable student to a teacher who persuaded others to forge ahead, what a peculiar style of painting!
“Cough cough, go here.” Aaron noticed his lost self-control and said, pointing to a stone corridor. This is the only way to go.
They heard that besides their own footsteps, there was also the sound of water drops slowly dripping down the wall. In such a quiet passage, it seemed extremely scary.
“Can you hear anything?” Ron asked in a low voice.
Everyone listen carefully. There seemed to be a soft rustle and the sound of ding ding dong dong.
“Will it be a ghost?”
“I didn’t know it was the sound of wings flapping.”
“There is light ahead—I see something moving.”
They came to the end of the corridor, and in front of them was a brightly lit room with a high vaulted ceiling. Countless little birds that are as dazzling as jewels, flapping their wings, are everywhere in the room. There is a heavy wooden door opposite the room.
“It’s the key.” Aaron answered Ron’s question in a soft voice, and moved towards the door first.
“Keys?” Ron stared at the keys flying in the air unfathomable mystery.
“The key with wings, it means…” Harry was interrupted by an excited voice before he could finish. It’s Hermione, “Look at Aaron!”
Aaron had walked to a corner of the room without incident, picked up a broomstick, rolled over and rode on it.
“I see. If you want to get through this door, you have to find the key to this door.” Harry suddenly realized.
“But there are hundreds of keys on it. It is too difficult to find the right portkey among so many keys!” Hermione has no innate talent for flying. She looked at the flying keys with wings. A little worried.
And Ron looked closely at the curb of the door. “We are looking for a big antique key-probably silver, shaped like a doorknob.”
Immediately afterwards, each of them grabbed a broom, kicked their feet, rose into the air, and rushed into the dense key array. They caught and fished desperately, but those magic keys dodge so fast that they were impossible to catch.
