Chapter 133: Cultivator's Heart

Time flew and a month went in no time at all. The relationship between Ayaan and Isobel also proceeded with a swift pace, and Isobel received her first stormy wet kiss. However, other than kiss he couldn't get anything from the three ladies. It turned out that they were punishing him for neglecting Isobel.

Ayaan just smiled at their childish behaviour and didn't say anything.

In the meantime, he also practised his Sabre Arts and refined them further and further. Though they were just basic moves, Ayaan knew that it was the foundation of the skyscraper for his future development.

Everyone else also didn't laze; Isobel advanced to the peak stage of the Core Formation Realm while the other two reached the high stage of the Core Formation Realm. Everything had been going smoothly, and every one advanced at a steady pace.

The little boy could swing the sword with ease and very elegantly, watching his progress of Sword Arts, everyone left stunned. His talent in the sword was extraordinary. However, Ayaan had seen in his vision previously that the sword path couldn't be taken too far, it will end eventually.

As he thought about the vision, which he saw at the time, the World of Life and Death evolved, a hesitated expression appeared on his face and he decided to not tell anyone. Furthermore, he had seen a lady similar to Leafwhisk, which turned his thinking rather chaotic. In the end, he kept this matter hidden from everyone.

Other than spending his time with his women, he just practised and cultivated through the breathing technique he received from the World of Life and Death. What troubled him the most, was the stage of Core Formation Realm, because there was no core in his body and he never formed any core.

According to the Leafwhisk, everyone needed to form a core at the Core Formation Realm and slowly merge that core with the body. At every new stage the size of the core will decrease gradually and strengthen the body of the cultivator; In the end, the core would completely merge with the body, disappearing. That would be the time to tear the sky of this world and proceed towards higher cosmos.

However, he didn't form any core in his body, but he could still reach the peak stage of the Core Formation Realm, which baffled him. In the end, Ayaan didn't tell this thing as well, because it won't help him anyways, the World of Life and Death was too weird.

Furthermore, after his strength increased in a single leap, his foundation became a little unstable, and therefore, he had to spend some time on his foundation.

On this day, Ayaan walked out of the room and looked at everyone who had been practising diligently.  Afterwards, his gaze fell over the little boy who swung his wooden sword with an unbelievable pace, leaving Ayaan amazed. It had been only a month and this little child had reached such an amazing proficiency in the sword.

However, he also felt worried because he thought that sword cultivation wouldn't let him go any further; the element path was the supreme and the furthest cultivation path.

At last, he couldn't control himself, and asked Leafwhisk, why she had been teaching the boy sword art, could it let him reach the highest level of cultivation?

Leafwhisk smiled when she heard his question, looking towards the sky as if reminiscing in her lost memories and asked him a question, "How would you decide which path is better?"

Ayaan left stunned, not expecting this question. He said this because he saw in his vision that the sword path won't go too far and end eventually. If Leafwhisk was the lady who had met with the guy named Nolan, she should know the reason. But now, she asked him a question such as this, what does this mean?

Is she someone else? Can the Sword Path reach the highest level of cultivation? Are there some secrets involved?

Many questions came to his mind, looking at Leafwhisk, he replied, "I don't know."

His face burned with embarrassment when he said that — he felt a little rook in front of her — in reality, he was just a novice in front of her.

For some time, Leafwhisk did not reply to him, then she turned around, and said, "Heart: it is your heart which decides how far you will walk your cultivation path. Though techniques are important without them you won't know where you need to go, but without heart, you will lose your way, even if you have the world's greatest cultivation technique."

"What do you mean by heart?" he asked, feeling a burning sensation on his face. Just not long ago, he had lectured Isobel about the heart but now, he himself asked the same question.

"Martial heart can't be described, everyone has their own path, so they have their own heart. Only by following that heart, you will reach the greatest height of cultivation; don't think this is so easy, maintaining one's heart is the hardest thing, you never know when you are lost in this vicious world," explained Leawhisk, her voice was peaceful and gentle.

Ayaan scratched his head, not understanding what she meant by heart, but he didn't linger over that, he asked another question, "You said that the techniques are also important for the development of the cultivator. So do we have techniques for sword cultivators?"

"Aren't you asking a most stupid question?" Leafwhisk shook her head, "Didn't you see an entire section of sword techniques on the library section of the pagoda? They are the greatest technique in the world, and you are still asking such a question."

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that," Ayaan laughed embarrassedly. He wanted to know the reason why those people in his vision said that no one could walk a much further on the Sword Path, but after thinking for some time, he dropped the idea.

He didn't know why but when he was beside Leafwhisk his heart would start to throb hastily, his mind turned chaotic and he would make many mistakes in front of her. It was as if he owed her something, but he didn't have the ability to return the favour.

After talking with Leafwhisk, he went towards the three ladies; all the three ladies were in a rather good mood, their laughter like a sound of waterfall echoed from time to time.

"Ayaan, I want to go to Doham?" Isobel said in a firm voice when she saw Ayaan walking towards them. Hearing her voice, Ayaan stopped on the spot, dumbstruck, not understanding what was going on.

"No, no, I am not leaving. I just want to get some news about our father," Isobel hurriedly explained when she saw his expression, to avoid further misunderstanding.

Only after hearing her second sentence did Ayaan sighed in relief, just now his heart came out of his chest when he heard that she was again thinking about leaving.

"Sure, when should we go?" taking a deep breath, Ayaan replied, "I also want to know the condition of the Eastern Continent."

"Whenever you say, we will go," smiled Isobel when Ayaan agreed with her.

Previously, she said that she wanted to find her father's whereabouts, her words weren't entirely false. Therefore, now when their relationship had progressed swiftly, she decided to go and find her father or at least get some news about his well being.

"Ok, I also want to go this time," just when they were talking, Leafwhisk walked towards them. The little guy still had been practising his sword art diligently.

"Oh, you also want to go with us?" asked Ayaan, looking at her elegant figure which was perfect without any flaw.

"What do you mean by if I also want to go? Of course, I want to go out; do you know how long it has been since I was stuck in this damn place?" cursed Leafwhisk when she heard such a stupid question, making Ayaan laugh in embarrassment.

"Alright, can't you right now, on your own? Is there something I don't know?" inquired Ayaan. Now he thought, it really was strange, since he had become the owner of the pagoda, shouldn't she be able to go out of this place? But she never went out.

"Yes, there is one more step for you to do, before the complete ownership of this pagoda will belong to you," replied Leafwisk.

'What the fuck!? In that vision, I saw that Nolan guy gained the ownership of the pagoda in an instant, but now, I need to do so many stupid things!' cursed Ayaan, but didn't say anything out loud.

He knew that Leafwhisk most probably wouldn't know the reason; more importantly, he didn't want to talk about that vision to anyone. Therefore, he didn't say anything and asked Leafwhisk about this supposed to be the last step of full ownership.

"Alright, follow me," said Leafwhisk and walked towards the second altar of the pagoda which was behind the library area.
