HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(ENDURANCE CONQUER'S ALL)

The next day,

"Good morning young, Miss..."

"Morning," I yawned as I stretched both hands.

"Are you excited for the Imperial ball later tonight?"

"I think so..."

'No, I'm not,'

"I am so excited because I get to see you, Miss. Wearing a dress like a goddess later tonight," She squealed, getting hyped.

"Do I look that pretty, Mary?"

"Of course, Young Miss, no one can compare your beauty," She said, wearing admiration and glowing eyes while looking at me full of determination and confidence.

"Uh... Yes, if you say so,"

It's true, though Vendia is pretty, but in my stead, even if I'm inside her body. I don't feel like one because I am so used to the image of my previous body, fat and chubby girl, not like Vendia at all. I'm very different from here.

-Dining room-

"Morning, Father and Mother,"

"Good Morning, sweetheart," Father replied.

"Are you excited for tonight's ball?" My mother asks. I smile at her.

"What is wrong, sweetheart?" Father asks.

"Yes?" I asked, unaware.

"Are you not feeling well?"

"Yes, your face shows an unpleasant feeling. What is it?" Mother worries.

'Huh? Oh, I didn't notice. Let's smile, shall we?'

"Nothing to worry about Mother, and Father. I'm fine. Just feeling a little sleepy, but I'm okay." I assured, smiling like an angel. They both smiled and nodded,

"Hmm... mother, father," I call out for them while we eat peacefully.

"Yes, sweetheart, what is it?" Mother responds,

"Um..." I fidget, feeling out of confidence.

"Sweetheart, go ahead, say what you want to say to us. We are listening," Father mention, and I nod.

"I won't go to the party," I confess,

"WHAT?" Mother raised her voice in shock,

"You want us to accept the invitation, but you won't be coming with us?" Father asks,

"Yes, because I don't want to hurt those people whom I knew, but now I forgot,"

'To be honest, I don't want to go because I might meet the heroine and the prince. I don't want to cause trouble and be in trouble, so, is better to stay home and not go anywhere away from here,'

"All right, we understand," Father responds as I sigh in relief.

"But, sweetheart, aren't you going to be alone here?" Mother asks, concern,

"No, I will be fine. I have Mary and our other servants to keep me company while you too are away," I answer.

"But..." Mother still insist,

"Dear..." Father, stop her from pursuing me any further. I smile at them and lighten the topic.

"Father, are there so many people attending the ball tonight?"

"Oh, yes, many nobles and different royal families will come tonight,"

"I see..." I said as I ate my food.

"Are you sure you won't come with us?" Father asks for assurance,

"If you feel scared, you can just hide at your father's back," Mother quipped. I giggle and laugh at them.

"Hahaha, mother,"

'Oh right, Vendia's father is as tall as a basketball player, and his back is so wide, he reminded me of my father,'

"YOU Slut! I should have killed you before you grew!"

"Don't touch my daughter!" my actual mother screamed, protecting a little me crying from the pain.

"Sweetheart? Are you okay? Why are you shaking?" Father called, snapping me back to reality.

"I... uh..."

"Vendia?" Mother calls, wearing a worried face. I raise my head and look at both of them with a plastered smile.

"Y-yes? Mother and Father, oh sorry I space out," I deep sigh and held my hands under the table, gripping on it together.

'Calm down, Yerre. He can't hurt you anymore. He's dead, and He's not here. You're safe here, Yerre. Don't think of him anymore.'

I thought of a way to change the topic and lighten the mood inside the dining room.

"Ah, Mother and Father, can I go to town after this?" I ask, thinking of one.

"Why, what will you do there?" Mother asks.

"I wanted to buy some painting materials," I answer,

"It's fine. But we can also ask Sebi to buy it for you," Father suggests.

"No, I will buy it myself, so I can choose the things I wanted."

"Okay, bring Mary with you so she can help you carry the things you buy,"

"Okay, Father, I will thank you,"

"Why do you have an interest in art?" Mother asked, surprised.

Oh right, Vendia didn't like those things. What she loves is only the prince.

"I wanted to try new things and discover myself,"

"That's good. I am so happy to hear that from you,"

I smiled at her.

'Yes, from now on, I will make use of this body for the better and take care of it very well. Don't worry, Vendia, I will make sure your body won't get hurt and won't do bad things anymore.'

-In town-

"Miss, Vendia?" A young woman with an innocent face and fragile features calls out for her.

"Yes?" She replies, confused.

"What's wrong? Are you not feeling well? Should we go home now? I'll call our coachman to bring us home straightaway," A young woman expresses her concern for her.

"What? No, I'm fine, Mary let us continue," She reacted.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I am, don't worry," She smiles to make Mary, worries fade away.

"Miss, you can always tell me if you are uncomfortable, okay?"

"Yes, I will, Mary. Thank you, and I'm sorry for I was spacing out a minute ago," She apologies,

"Is okay, I understand,"

"Thank you,"

"Miss, are you certain that you are, okay?" Mary asks once again.

"Mary... I'm fine. Stop worrying now, okay?" I answer, smiling at her while I feel warm inside because she is so caring towards me. Who is a villain inside the story? And that's what happened so far. Now let's go, continue our next voyage.

"Young, miss?" Mary call.

"Hem?" I respond as we continue walking to the town street as I wear my green cloak that covered my appearance.

"Is it true that you won't go to the royal banquet tonight?" She asks, her voice somehow sound disappointed.

"Yes,"

"But why?" She reacted,

"Hem? Because I haven't regained my memory back yet and I don't want to, embarrassed my parents in front of many people whom I used to know before but now I don't, that's why," I answered,

"Oh, yeah... I apologize, Miss,"

"Apologize for what?"

"For being so..." Mary turned gloomy, I pat her right shoulder, and I smile.

"Don't worry. You still going to see me wear the dress that my mother buys, for me the other day," I lighten her mood.

"How?" She asks.

"I'll tell you when we get back home, but for now. Let us continue walking," I answer, and Mary got cheerful again. I feel glad.

"Young miss, may I ask something?" Mary walked beside me,

"Yes, go ahead, Mary, you can ask anything," She nods, smiling.

"I'm just curious. Where are we going?" She asks,

"Oh, to the art store," I answer,

"Art store? But why there?"

"Huh? What do you mean?" I ask, confused about her question for a minute.

"I mean, why art store? You don't have an interest in those kinds of stuff. You used to buy pieces of jewelry and dresses,"

'Right, but Vendia liked those things, not me.'

"You're right. Well, I don't know what my past self-did since I have no memories of that. Please for, now stop making comparisons to someone I don't know,"

"I'm sorry, miss," Mary apologies,

"Is fine," I replied.

"But, miss, do you know how to paint?" I stopped walking and looked ahead.

Yes, I do because, in my previous life, I'm an artist. But I can't tell you that because you wouldn't believe me.

"Young miss?"

"Oh, yes, I do. When we arrive home, you will be my first model for my art paint," I replied as I faced her.

"For real? Young Miss?" her eyes showed delight and joy. I smile and nod at her.

"Of course, now come, let's hurry to go to the art store so we can go back to our carriage and get back home."

"Okay," She squeals.
