HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(THE GENTLE TOUCH OF KINDNESS AND PAIN)

Her expression became more dark upon seeing that the hand still wouldn't let go.

"I SAID LET GO!" she shouted over her lungs, but the hand still didnt let go. She turned to look at Yerre and the Prince once more. Then she came face to face with the unforgettable and heart-wrecking image.

Prince Adam and Yerre were kissing deeply while they embraced each other intimately in front of her. She was stunned and seemed on the verge of a breakdown. Her brain had stopped working, her lungs had turned dry, she couldn't speak. It was like something was stuck inside her throat and a heavy thunder had struck inside her heart, making her unable to move, breath or react for a second, but when she finally got back to her senses, she couldn't help but shiver all over her spine in vain and bit her lower lip so tight that it caused her lip to wound deeply. The blood dripped out of her lips like a rain drop.

It sent a wet sensation to her shirt, but she didn't care. She couldn't feel the pain in her lower lip either. Nothing is more painful than seeing the person you loved dearly for many years kissing a man and not her. Embracing another person and not her. It made her weak, insecure and made her want to kill herself instead of seeing such a thing in front of her. Her body had started shivering from so much rage. The two people in front of her continued kissing until the prince travelled down to Yerre's neck.

Her face showed terror and panic. She held her head with her two hands and started to talk to herself like a mad man. Her eyes were wide open and tears continued to flow out like a river while her body continued to shiver in fear and anger. She became confused. She knew this was only a dream, but somehow everything seemed to be real to her.

"No, this is a dream. This is a dream. Let me out! LET ME OUT PLEASE! I can't take this. Please stop this, please, "she is now crying. She hugged herself and started wailing like she was in so much pain. She didn't look at the two people who kept kissing in front of her anymore.

She couldn't take it. Her mind is on the verge of chaos and exploding, so does her heart. She doesn't want anything like that to happen in real life. She did not like it. Yerre is only for her and only for her. She won't let this happen.

Even though Alda knows that this is just a complete dream, she can't help but feel that what she is seeing right now is a reality. She can't help but feel pain inside her heart and mind. She was at a loss. She wanted to wake up right now.

"No, please stop. Stop! I want to wake up! PLEASE! It hurts so much. Please, I'm begging you, please stop this dream right now. PLEASE! " She continued pleading while crying in a mess. Until she lost consciousness in her dream and woke up gasping for air. Her eyes were wide open, like she had seen a real devil in her dream. Tears still flowed out of her eyes like rain drops. She looked down at her feet and saw no hand holding it anymore. All of it was just a dream. It is not true. It is not real. Her body was still shivering.

It's not true, it's not real, it's just a dream, just a dream, "she thought, while keeping repeating each word inside her head like a crazy person.

"I'm back. It's only a dream. It's only a dream, but why does it hurt so much? Why does it feel real? " She said. The feeling of pain inside her heart came back and the suffocating feeling in her lungs came rushing inside her body as well.

Her tears fell and, without care, she burst into tears and bawled inside the tent, making everyone who had just finished creating the herbal medicine shocked.

Everyone is now sitting in their respective chairs, resting from finally finishing making the medicine. Mr. Mong and Sir Arnold are beside Kayla. They just finished assisting the unconscious person to drink the herbal tea they made.

Everyone looked at her in stunned. They were all at a loss. They all couldn't believe what they were seeing. The Duke's daughter is crying in a mess inside their tent. They remained in their place with a shocked expression for three seconds. Until Mr. Mong made a move and went over to Alda's side, stroking her back to calm her sobs. But it didn't work. Alda continued bawling like she had lost something very precious to her. Like someone has stolen something very valuable to her.

This made everyone concerned and curious, but they couldn't bring themselves to ask her, because they knew it would be something personal and private. This kind of thing is none of their business. They're only normal people who were born into a low-birth family and are only meant to work for those higher-ranking people.

They aren't allowed to ask whatever they like because it is inappropriate and they're not worthy of it. At least that is what they thought of themselves. The creator of the story keeps her work close to reality and fantasy. Kayla relates her book to old laws, but some parts of them are still applied in the modern world.

Upon living a hard life since birth, it made her realize what kind of life a low-wage person has and what kind of eyes those people who have higher assets give them. If they beg and work hard to live in a world full of discrimination, poverty, judgement, and unfairness. She bases her book on all the things she experienced and understood from other people she knew and from people she barely knew. After that, Kayla then turned everything into creativity and wide imagination.

Alda covered her face as she continued bawling while sitting on the wooden chair. Sir Arnold also went over to her side and touched her shoulder. But it seems all their gestures towards her went unnoticed. She is in a mess right now. She couldn't think straight and she seemed to feel that she was still in the nightmare she had earlier.

She can't seem to let go of the pain and the suffocating sensation that the dream brought her at the moment. She couldn't let go and got out, even though she knew that it was only a dream. The pain feels real and the image of Yerre embracing another person while kissing seems all too real for her to handle. She can't get out of this illusion. She can't get it out of her head. She felt trapped and chained.

That dream she had was very sensitive on her part. She always thinks in her mind that someday Yerre will find a man to marry and have children with him. This kind of thing is very severe and causes her mental concentration to breakdown because she can't let go of Yerre.

She can't imagine anyone other than herself loving her and cherishing her. She couldn't. She loved her so much, that she would rather kill herself than see her marry and be intimate with another person in front of her. It torn her.

"I can't please no, no," she mumbles in her sobs. Her eyes were still wide like she had seen a monster. Her body still shivered, not from anger but fear. Everyone who saw her being in this state became anxious and worried. Sir Arnold can't take it anymore. He looked at Mr. Mong with a discomfort expression and called out to him.

"Mr. Mon--"

"Shh! Let her be. She is still mourning over her dream. Her mental state is still affected by her dreams. She needs to let go of it first before we interfere, "Mr. Mong cut his sentence short. Sir Arnold nods and can't help but feel irritated upon seeing Alda in this messed up state. His heart is somehow feeling pain and disturbed.

He wonders how come Mr. Mong knows that she is mourning over a dream? Is he also an expert in this kind of field? Can all physicians see through people's conditions all the time? He is so worried that he can't stop wondering and asking questions in his mind. Then a warm hand touched his shoulder out of nowhere, making him flinch, shocked and jolted awake from his thoughts.

He unsheathed his sword as a result of the shock, but when he was about to point it at the person touching his shoulder, he halted at his place and saw Kayla panting and already awake standing beside her. She is now back to her normal complexion and is now healed, but she is still panting and her feet are still wobbling. It's like she ran five miles away. She struggled to stand well, so she held onto Sir Arnold's shoulder for support.
