HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(PUZZLE BREAK OF SYMPHONY)

Cathlen looks at him, buffering for a second, then got stupefy.

'Eh? That's all? THAT'S ALL? Why do I have to stand beside you then? Any way is good. I don't have words to say so,' Cathlen thought as she then follows alongside Prince Adam and king Phantrel with his lover going down from the stairs. After three seconds, they then arrived down, and the orchestra releases a hymn, making everyone dance to the beat.

On the other side, one person got shocked and panicked inside as she keeps pacing back and forth from nervous.

'What is going on? Why would they break their engagement? What is going on?' Yerre thought confuses and anxious as she keeps walking away from Sir Aloit without knowing. Sir Aloit got distracted by his world, also shocked and worried about why is the prince. Who loves Lady Cathlen so much breaks their engagement without a second thought?

"Wait! Don't tell me..." Sir Aloit, calculating the situation, connecting the dots and pieces of information he gathered to Sir Albert and the Voldron land, not knowing that Vendia is not beside him anymore. After two minutes of deep thinking, he then concludes his theory then looks over to his side only to see that there's no sign of Vendia at all. Sir Aloit got shocked and panic.

"VENDIA!" He shouts, not caring if all the people look at him as a crazy person. Sir Aloit keeps yelling and yelling Vendia's name while entering a large and noisy crowd from the banquet hall, but there's no response from Vendia. Because his voice has been covering by the orchestra sounds mixing with people's noise, his voice couldn't reach the person he is searching for,

"SHIT! GET OUT OF MY WAY!" Sir Aloit yells to all the people blocking his way in anger and panic. The people then look at him, startled and afraid. All of them then move aside in pace for him to get through.

'SHIT! Why is this banquet hall is so gigantic and wide!' Sir Aloit thought, irritated.

"VENDIA!" He shouts in rage as his heart race from anger and anxiety while he hurried through different crowds, searching for Vendia. On the other side, Vendia just woke up from her struggled thought and notice that she walked further away from Sir Aloit.

"Oh, no. Sir Aloit? SIR ALOIT! UNCLE!" She yells through the crowds, anxious.

"UNCLE! Uncle! I'm here! UNCLE!" Yerre keeps yelling and yelling as she feels her body trembled and shivered from fear. Her tears burst out from her eyes, falling to her cheeks like never-ending water while she hugs herself using her hands. Calming herself down a bit, but it didn't work. She doesn't know what to do and how to get back to Sir Aloit's side. The sound of the instruments inside the banquet hall and by the crowds blocked her voice.

She entered the crowd then tried to find the place where she last saw Sir Aloit crying and shivering from fear. But it seems like she is just getting further and further away from the area she seeks. She stops walking and stands still in the crowd. The people look at her like she's only five years old as her tears keep flowing out to her eyes.

"What is she doing? Wait a minute, is she the Marquis's daughter?"

"Yeah, why she's crying like a five-year-old kid?"

She heard a woman's voice at her back whispering her family rank. She turned around and looked at them with teary eyes.

"Can you two help me?" She asks within her sobs as she walks closer to them, but they flinched then surprised. They look at her with discomfort face.

"No, I didn't mean to startle you two, I jus-" Her words got cut by the two women inserting.

"Oh, no, she heard us. Quick, let's flee," The two woman mentions and walks away from her, afraid. Seeing those women walk away from fear. Her sobs turned into a mess, and her body shivered more not only from fear but from annoyance. Yerre keeps thinking about who can help her at this critical moment, then remembered someone no longer here inside the book.

'Right Vendia, Vendia?' Yerre call from her thought, but there's no response.

'Vendia, help me... Vendia, I need your help. Please answer me, Vendia,' She keeps calling her in her thought as she cries.

'VENDIA!' She yells in her thought but still the same results. She tries to walk again but got stumble upon a servant who wears a server suit holding a stainless round plate with a bottle of robust white wine on it.

"Miss, are you okay?" The manservant asks in concern, but Yerre couldn't pay attention to him because she keeps looking at the long glass with a peculiar white wine inside.

"Miss? May I help you?" The servant asks again, making Yerre look at him at last with the same teary eyes.

"Can you help me find someone?" She asks with pleading eyes as the servant looks at her with pity.

"Of course, what can I do for you, Miss?" The servant answers, making Yerre sigh in relief, then relaxed a bit.

"Can you call my parents for me? My name is Vendia. I'm the Marquis only daughter," She mentions, and the servant surprised for a second, then relaxed.

"I can, Miss. Don't worry. I will bring them here for you. You can wait from the terrace over there," The servant pointed towards the long and thick red curtain, making Yerre stop crying and wipe her tears away.

"There's a terrace behind that curtain?" She asks, surprised.

"Yes, Miss is better for you to wait there so that no one can bother you. Is simple for me to spot you too," The servant answers as Yerre then nods. The servant is about to walk away, but she halts him by saying.

"Can you bring some water for me when you get back with my parents? I'm thirsty," She mentions as the servant gives out a wistful smile to her.

"I can, Miss, but if you are already so thirsty, then you can drink this for a meantime and wait for me to arrive with your parents and your water," The servant answer giving one glass of powerful white wine to her. Yerre looks at it for a second, thinking and afraid because she didn't drink alcohol or wine before.

"Is okay, Miss. You are already in your twenties, right?" The servant mentions as Yerre nods.

"Then is fine," The servant added, making Yerre nod again and take the wine from him.

"Thank you," She responded as the servant then nod and walk away to fetch the Marquis and her water to drink. She went to where the red curtain while holding the wine in her right hands and get inside only to face a very well-designed terrace with a beautiful garden below it, with roses and different raises of flowers.

"Is beautiful here, and the stars in the sky are clear to see," She mumbles and drinks the wine. Yere then got shocked after finishing the wine because it does not taste bitter. Instead, it tastes sweet, like strawberry candy.

'That surprising Alda said that alcohol and wine taste the same and that they're all bitter, but this one is not,' Yerre thought, then felt sad remembering her best friend Alda again. She doesn't know, but her emotions flood into her again, and her tears burst once again.

"Alda… where are you… you promise me we will always be together that you will never leave my side. You hate seeing me cry, right? Well, I am crying right now. And this is because of you! Alda, I miss you so much…" Yerre blurts out within her mess sobs as she turned around and looks up to the sky, closing her eyes full of tears, praying.

'Please, let me see her and hug her again. Please, god. I miss my best friend so much,' She pleaded in her thought, begging full of desperation and longingness.

"I wish and hope that wherever she is. She didn't suffer as I do right now," She blurted out, full of hopeful feelings.

On the other side, King Phantrel and his lover Butler Sed greet other people whose part from their alliance and enormous influence, while the two other people got left behind in silence.

"Well, I'll be going then," Cathlen mentions as she walks away, but Prince Adam grabbed her left arm, making her shocked and startled. She stays still in her position, face backing Prince Adam. She didn't turn around to see Prince Adam's expression because she nows Cathlen body will break down.

"What is it?" She asks in a firm tone of voice.

"Can I dance with you for the last time?" Prince Adam's request.

'Dance?.... what dance? Dance like those traditional royal dances? I don't know how to dance those kinds of thing!' Alda thought, packing inside.

"What if I refuse?" She replies, still refuses to face Prince Adam.
