Wang was holding a heart shaped box in his hand and he opened it to reveal a beautiful ring.

"This is my mom's ring. I always wanted to gift it to somebody very special to me. Today I found that special person in you," he said affectionately.

I covered my face with my hands. I was engulfed by various emotions, which made me realize my multi-tasking skills. I was crying, laughing, trembling and dumb-founded, all at that same moment. My heart was thumping at a speed which could break every scientific record, ever. I was sure that I looked like, having a sudden seizure.

I was shouting in my mind, it's a yes! Yes! And absolute yes! But I wanted to express it in my own special way.

I, too, bent down on my knees, facing him. He had a bemused look on his face and I was glad that I have finally done something, which has confused him. Not to mention the onlookers, including the waiters who seemed keenly interested in us.

"If the question was asked by you sitting on your knees, then even I should answer like this," I reassured. He looked strained, probably eager to know what I my answer was.

"I love u too, Wang! This is the best day of my life and something which I will always cherish. I am lucky to have a person like you in my life and giving me your mom's ring is probably the best gift you could have given. I promise to keep it with full love, throughout my life and I also promise to love you with full honesty," I said trying to control my waterworks. "I know I sound like a frog, and, you don't have to tell me this," I added, to ease out the tense moment.

Wang did not speak a word and took the ring out of the box and held it close to me. He too was trying to hide his tears.

"It's the left one. I asked a friend," he giggled.

He put the ring and clapped enthusiastically. I could not believe this was happening to me. I was just 19 years old and I was practically getting engaged to a guy, who I met just few months back. The ring had slipped in quite easily and it was way much bigger, so I ended up wearing it in my middle finger.
