The call ended Jade decided to change into something more business-like as she put on a black pencil skirt and white dress shirt. Then she grabbed her purse and walked out of the apartment.

Jade was texting on her phone as her heels clacked while walking through the office on the third floor

Hey I'm here

she texted.

Her phone buzzed.

Ok I'm on my way out of the meeting now

Meet me at my office.

she replied back as she stood and waited by his office door still looking at her phone.

"Hey what are you doing here ?"

Jade glanced up from her phone and smirked at Nate.

"I'm here to handle some business."

"Oh ok, are you still mad about this morning?"

"No, its all good Nate, she said.

"That's good I just really wanted to talk things out with you."

"It's fine Nate, she said.

She could feel Nate's eyes checking her out

"You look good Nate said with a grin.

Mhmm Jade said uninterested.

"So I was thinking maybe we could go grab.....

"Hey Jade, Mr. Johnson walked up interrupting Nate

"Hey are you ready Jacob, she asked with a grin on her face

Nate stood there with a surprised look on his face.

"Hey Jacob can you give me a second" Jade added.

"Sure I'll meet you out front, he said and then walked down the hall.

"What is this?"Nate asked confused.

"He's my boss Jade."

"I know, Jade said dryly

"Well, I got to go and have lunch with your boss."

"Jade really..."

"Why don't you go have lunch with that one girl."

Then Jade turned and walked away she was satisfied knowing Nate's eyes were watching her as she walked away. even though she wasn't going on a date with Mr. Johnson to her there was no harm in letting Nate think it was a lunch date.

Jade made her way down the elevator and walked out of the building the sunlight was reflected off a black Mercedes parked by the sidewalk. As she walked up closer Mr. Johnson was standing beside the car with black shades waiting for her.

"Hey, beautiful, he said with a grin.

"It's Jade, she stated in the nicest way she could.

He chuckled as they got in the car and pulled off.

Jade and Mr. Johnson were sitting in a restaurant at a table talking they finished eating minutes ago.

"What about you I'd like to know about you." His eyes met hers.

She clasps her hands together trying to keep a straight face.

"Well there's not much to know about me I moved here a few years ago, went to college to be a lawyer and now I'm a bartender."

"A beautiful woman like you shouldn't be a bartender, he told her.

"You said you wanted to talk about business, Jade said crossing her arms.

"I am... I'm hosting this event at my house this weekend and I wanted to ask if you would be one of my bartenders.

"What kind of event is it?" Jade asked curiously.

"It's a black tie affair so wear black Mr. Johnson told her.

Jade took a sip of her drink from her straw.

"So when is this black-tie event, Jade questioned.

"Friday night at my house so would be able to come?"he asked.

Jade was still caught off guard by Mr. Johnson's proposal but she saw a possible opportunity.

"Yea I can come, Jade told him.

A phone started to ring Mr. Johnson reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone then he looked over at Jade.

"Sorry to cut this short but I got to get back to the office for a business call,he explained to her.

"It's fine, Jade said as they stood up

"Well shall we trade numbers so we can talk."

"About business, Jade added.

"Yea of course business Mr. Johnson said with a grin on his face as they walked out of the restaurant.
