"Aiden, I... I don't dare," Anya's feet stopped walking, not daring to enter the room even though it was already in sight.

Aiden's handsome face seemed to exude a complicated expression. His little wife had been surviving vigorously and strongly, but she looked very fragile at the moment.

She didn't even dare to see the test result that would reveal whether she was really her mother's daughter, even though she had mustered up her courage all night long.

Because the more you cared about someone, the more scared you would be to lose them.

Aiden embraced Anya's shoulder and tried to comfort her. "I'll help you see it first,"

"I… I don't want to know. Let's just go home," Anya choked. She was afraid that the doctor would say that she was not her mother's real daughter.

They had lived together all this time, enduring each day together, supporting each other so as not to give up. But if she was not her mother's daughter, what should she do?

"Even though you don't want to know the result, you have to take the report. You can't leave it in the hospital because it's personal," Aiden said.

Anya nodded.

"You are right. It's a DNA test result. It's not good if the result is left here and known to others," Anya took Aiden's hand and decided to step inside.

Seeing Aiden coming, the doctor in the room nodded slightly, signaling that they had changed the new result according to his request.

Aiden took the document envelope with the hospital logo on it and immediately left the hospital.

They wear hats, glasses and masks, so no one would recognize who they were. They hurried away from the place, headed to Aiden's mall.

There, Aiden's bodyguard was waiting for them in the car and just returned home.

"Today is Monday. I have to go back to the office for a meeting. Do you want to go home or go to the office with me?" Aiden asked. He was worried that he had to leave Anya alone.

Anya looked at her husband's face. Aiden stayed with her all night in the hospital even though he had to work today. His work must have been piling up and he also had to shower and change at the office.

Anya didn't want to bother him…

"I'll take you to the office first then go home and get ready to go back to college tomorrow," Anya thought that she would go back to college tomorrow, but she hadn't prepared anything.

Aiden looked at Anya and said, "You don't need to prepare anything. Once you start college, we will move to an apartment closer to my office,"

"If you're not afraid to suffer living alone with me, I don't mind waking up later in the morning," Anya smiled thinly.

But Aiden knew that Anya's smile looked a little forced. He knew that Anya was thinking about the test result on Aiden's lap. Her eyes glanced occasionally at the test result, but she would not open them.

Aiden felt that Anya needed some time alone to see the result…

"When I'm with you, there's no such thing as suffering. Every moment is sweet," Aiden handed Anya the brown envelope, "You can see the results for yourself. If you don't want to see it, keep this document in my safe,"

"Alright," Anya took the brown envelope and held it tightly.

Their car arrived in front of the Atmajaya Group company. As soon as Aiden got out of the car, he saw that Nico had just arrived driving a gold Ferrari.

Seeing that his uncle had just arrived, Nico immediately approached excitedly. But he was surprised to see that the shirt worn by Aiden looked wrinkled. He looked and found Anya sitting in the back seat of the car. "Uncle, what were you and aunt doing in the car? Why are your clothes wrinkled like that?" Nico teased.

Anya choked on hearing this. Nico really didn't have a filter. Everything he thought immediately came out of his mouth.

"Has the contract with Mahendra Company been signed?" Aiden asked, ignoring Nico's comment.

Nico's face immediately changed. He smiled a little awkwardly. "The contract will be signed this week. The Mahendra family must be much more restless than us,"

Aiden's gaze looked unpredictable as he said, "If you can't sign that contract, Deny's land will be immediately sold to me,"

"Uncle, what does that mean? Is there something I don't know?" Nico was confused.

Aiden didn't even bother to look at him and walked straight to his office.

Nico immediately knocked on Anya's car window. "Auntie, what's wrong?"

Anya lowered her car's window and looked at Aiden who had walked quite a distance. "I don't know. Maybe it has something to do with my kidnapping,"

"Auntie was kidnapped? Are you alright?" Nico looked at Anya from head to toe, making sure that there was no wound on his aunt's body.

"Mrs. Mona ordered someone to kidnap me and take my blood sample to match it with my father," Anya said.

"Hasn't Natali been tested and it matched? Why do they still want to take your blood sample? Wait... Wait... They kidnapped you and took your blood by force. Isn't that against the law? Have they been arrested?"

"Hmm..." Anya nodded.

"Then, the Tedjasukmana Family will not sell us the land. They will sell the land to the Mahendra family to ensure that Natali will become Raka's wife. Mona would definitely prefer to go to prison rather than destroy her daughter's future," Nico said seriously.

"They can kidnap me and take my blood by force, but I will never do what they want. From now on, I have no connection or whatsoever with the Tedjasukmana Family. You don't have to worry about me when I face them," Anya said indifferently.

Anya recalled her years of suffering. She felt like an outcast child in that family.

In the past, she felt sad and thirsty for her father's affection. But now she knew that she was not related by blood with Deny and that made her feel much more relieved.

Deny never fulfilled his duties as a father. And he also did not have any blood ties and feelings towards Anya.

Hence, Anya decided not to have any more contact with him in the future.

"The Tedjasukmana family has gone crazy. They know that you're uncle's lover, but they still dare to do this. Looks like they've forgotten the lesson my uncle gave Natali before," Nico sneered irritably.

Anya didn't want to talk about the Tedjasukmana Family anymore. She didn't sleep well last night and now she really wanted to rest.

"Nico, go to work. You don't have to tell me anything about the Tedjasukmana Family next time," Anya said in a low voice.

"Alright, Auntie. Be careful on the road," Nico could see Anya was tired and immediately said goodbye to her.

Around eight in the morning, Anya arrived home. Hana immediately welcomed her arrival. Seeing Anya's disheveled and gloomy face, Hana immediately felt worried. "Anya, what's wrong? Are you alright?"

"I am fine. I want to take a shower and have breakfast right away," Anya said, smiling faintly.

Twenty minutes later, Anya came downstairs in casual home clothes. Last night, the rain started pouring down, making the roses in the garden bloom beautifully.

Hana immediately brought a bowl of porridge for Anya. Besides that, she also brought fried meat and various kinds of vegetables for Anya.

Anya looked at the vegetables that decorated the table in surprise. "Why are there so many vegetables today?" She asked.

"Yesterday, Aiden went to his mother's house and met the servant there. The servant planted the vegetables and gave them to Aiden," Hana said.

"Aiden returned to his mother's house?" Anya didn't know that.

She was too busy with her own problems to know what Aiden was doing.

Aiden returned to his mother's house. What was he doing there? Anya felt that she was a bad wife when she heard this from Hana.

Hana knew Aiden more than her, even though she was Aiden's wife…

"When Mr. Ivan returned to Indonesia, Mrs. Imel suddenly wanted to marry Mr. Bima. So, Aiden went to his mother's house to find out about his mother's death. He wanted to confirm whether his mother's death had something to do with Mrs. Imel or not," Hana said.
