Hidden Wife: Best Husband

Soo Yin looked in disbelief at what she saw this time.  It was like dreaming in broad daylight to see Dae Hyun waiting in line and carrying a tray at the cafeteria.

"Please, sir," Jae-hwa said nervously.  For some reason Dae Hyun's eyes were piercing.

"Can you move there?"  Dae Hyun said telling Jae-hwa to sit next to Jean.

"It's not good to change places while you're eating. You should just sit there," Soo Yin said without looking at Dae Hyun.  Really she still felt annoyed with the incident this morning.  It turned out that even though she had calmed down, she still couldn't get rid of the disappointment that was in her heart.

"It's okay, I'll move there," Jae-hwa sais as he looked at Soo Yin.  Making Dae Hyun really annoyed.  From Jae-hwa's gaze at his wife, Dae Hyun suspected that something was messed up between them.

"Just stay seated and continue eating," Soo Yin said while glancing at Dae Hyun.

"Is it okay for you to sit there?"

"Okay."  Dae Hyun was forced to sit next to Jean.

Jean and Jae-hwa looked at each other.  They look awkward because they were not used to sitting together with a boss.  Moreover, like Dae Hyun, they were not even brave to greet him.  Although his attitude was friendly, they were still reluctant.

Soo Yin continued eating her food in silence.  Didn't care about Dae Hyun who kept staring at her.

"What did he follow me here for?"  Soo Yin said to herself.  Can't stop thinking about Dae Hyun.  After disrespecting her own hard work, he now followed her.

Dae Hyun felt there was something wrong with his wife's attitude who looked cool. Her attitude returned to the old one again.  But then immediately thought positively that maybe his wife was just pretending in front of his friend to act like that.

Soo Yin put her cutlery on the table, a sign that she's finished eating.

"I'll go first, see you everyone."  Soo Yin stood up and shifted her chair then left them.  Didn't care about Dae Hyun at all.

Dae Hyun thought Soo Yin wad just pretending to be cool and silent but after returning to the room, the girl still only talked a little.  Dae Hyun wanted to chat with her but there was never time.  Too much work piling up.  Even if there was a time, Soo Yin always avoid and left as if there was no one at all.

It didn't feel like the day goes by so fast.  It was now seven in the evening.  Dae Hyun immediately walked over to Soo Yin.

"Go home, it's already late. I have to work late tonight," Dae Hyun said because a lot of work has not been completed.  Because his job on the island of Nami put some of his work at this hotel neglected.  Already many reports and files piled on his desk.  Some should be checked immediately.

"Hmmm."  Soo Yin immediately tidied up her desk then put her belongings into the bag.

Dae Hyun knitted his brows together.  It was unusual for Soo Yin to act like that.  Usually the girl would refuse if Dae Hyun sent her home.  Will continue to accompany him until late at night.  It was really weird this time.

Without looking at her husband, Soo Yin immediately left the room without a word being spoken.

Soo Yin deliberately didn't contact Chung Ho because she didn't really want to go home yet. She had not enjoyed the night outside in a long time.

The girl continued walking down the sidewalk aimlessly.  Until she found a place to eat.  It's been a long time since she ate Jjajangmyeon.  On a cold night like this it felt right to eat it.

Without Soo Yin acknowledge, Dae Hyun had been following the girl from the car.  He was worried when he found out that his wife didn't contact Chung Ho.

As soon as he was about to get off, suddenly there was Jae-hwa who walked behind Soo Yin so Dae Hyun was discouraged.  Even though he intended to give a surprise.  Dae Hyun was forced to choose to stay in the car because it was very cold outside.

"Hi, are you here too?"  Jae-hwa said when he saw Soo Yin was eating a bowl of Jjajangmyeon.  Feeling like a dejavu for meeting Soo Yin at a time like this.  Even though the place and time were different.

"I haven't enjoyed it for a long time. Suddenly I want to eat when I pass this restaurant," Soo Yin said.

"Aren't you joining overtime? I saw Mr. Dae Hyun seems busy," Jae-Hwa said.  When she's about to go home, Dae Hyun earlier asked her to make a cup of coffee.

"No, he told me to go home," Soo Yin replied curtly.  For a moment it occurred to her that she felt sorry for leaving him alone, although she always accompanied him even though she was just lying on the sofa.

Soo Yin immediately brushed the thought away.  Didn't want to think about Dae Hyun this time. It was his fault who didn't appreciate her efforts.  In fact, let his younger brother eat.

"What is this?"  Soo Yin slowly read it.  It turned out that it was a brochure of a famous university in Seoul.

"Maybe you also want to register there," Jae-hwa said, wishing that Soo Yin went to the same place as him.

"Thank you, I'll think about it," Soo Yin said then put it in the bag.

"After this are you going straight home?"

"I don't know, it looks like I still want to take a walk for a while," Soo Yin said.

After that they went out simultaneously.  They were walking side by side so that from afar it seemed like they were holding hands.  Dae Hyun, who could not stand seeing his wife walking with other men, went out of his car.

"Hmmm," Dae Hyun said aloud.  He quickly walked behind Soo Yin and Jae-hwa.  So that made them both stop and look back.

Soo Yin thought that she was hallucinating hearing Dae Hyun's voice.  But it really was him.

'What's he here for?  Didn't he say there's still a lot of work to do?' Soo Yin said to herself.

"Mr. Dae Hyun," Jae-hwa said.

"Sorry to disturb you two of you. I just need to bring Soo Yin back to the hotel," Dae Hyun said.

"Didn't you just tell me to go home?" Soo Yin said could not understand if Dae Hyun followed him.

"Jae-hwa, is it okay if I take her away?" Dae Hyun said.

"Of course, sir."  There was no way Jae-hwa will say no.  Who was he to dare not agree to his boss's request.

"Once again sorry for disturbing your togetherness," Dae Hyun said while glancing at his wife.

'Geez, what the hell is he?  Today just pissed me off,' Soo Yin grumbled inwardly.

"Come in." Dae Hyun opened the front passenger door for Soo Yin.

At first, Soo Yin wanted to protest, but she felt bad because Jae-hwa was there.  Jae-hwa will definitely be suspicious.

Dae Hyun immediately drove his car in silence.  Soo Yin did the same.  Chose to turn her face to face the side.  Gazing at the shadows of the trees in the dim light.

Soo Yin was reluctant to ask when the car drove not on the road to return to the hotel.  She knew that it might just be an excuse to take her away from Jae-hwa.

Dae Hyun's cell phone ring broke the silence.  Spooky atmosphere behind the dim light.  Two people were in the same place but were silent while enjoying each other's thoughts.

Soo Yin, who usually complained when Dae Hyun didn't answer the call.  Now she pretended not to know even though the calls have been repeated.

Dae Hyun took a deep breath when he saw who had contacted him.  It turned out to be Aeri.  Not usually now contact him.

"What is wrong?" Dae Hyun asked curtly when he was connected.

"Father!"  It was not Aeri's voice that was heard.  It was Jo Yeon Ho's cute voice that echoed over the phone.

"Hi honey, you haven't slept yet?"  Dae Hyun softened his tone.

"When will you come home? It's already late. You won't stay at the hotel, right?" Jo Yeon Ho said.

"N ... no," Dae Hyun said hesitantly. Didn't have the heart to lie to his son.

"Hooray! I'll be waiting for Dad to come home."  Jo Yeon Ho's voice was delighted.

"Alright, we'll continue later."  Dae Hyun turned off the phone line.
