Hogwarts, a Scholar Becomes a God

Vol 4 Chapter 30: Stadium training, sudden turmoil

Hogwarts in mid-September, even in the afternoon, was a bit sweltering.

The three of Clark sat in the stands of the Quidditch pitch, and fine beads of sweat soon appeared on their foreheads.

For Harry in the field, this temperature is just right, neither too hot or too sunny, nor too cold due to flying.

The strong wind slapped his cheeks. Compared with Wood's long speech, this time, the sleepiness caused by the lack of naps was dispelled, and he was much more awake.

It feels so good to be back on the Quidditch pitch!

He flew around the field at top speed, playing George and Fred to see who was faster.

"Where did the clicking sound come from?" Hermione asked suddenly, who was watching them make a quick turn.

The three of Clark turned their heads to look at the stand behind them, and they saw a small, gray-haired boy sitting in the highest row of seats, holding a Muggle camera, taking pictures one after another.

Not only that, but he screamed, "Look this way, Harry!"

In the empty Quidditch pitch, the sound of the shutter was oddly amplified and prominent.

The Gryffindor captain, Wood, apparently noticed this too, and Clark saw him fly to Harry's side and stop.

"What's going on?" Wood asked with a frown. "Why is that freshman taking pictures? I don't like it. He may be a Slytherin spy who wants to spy on our new training program."

"He's from Gryffindor," Harry explained quickly.

"And Slytherin doesn't need spies, Oliver." George said suddenly.

Wood glared at him irritably, "How do you know?"

"Because they've come by themselves," said George, pointing down the court.

Several men in green robes entered the field, all with broomsticks in their hands.

"I can't believe it!" Wood said angrily, "I covered the stadium today, we'll see what they're going to do!"

Wood rushed to the ground, and because of his anger, he landed a little heavier than he expected, and he stepped off the broom a little wobbly, and Harry, Fred and George fell down.

Clark and the others also saw this situation and ran down the stand. While running, Clark pulled the little gray-haired boy who had just taken the photo.

"Your name is Colin, right? I saw you at the sorting ceremony, you hid behind for a while, and if something happened, remember to take a picture."

Colin looked at him ignorantly, wondering what he meant?

Clark had to emphasize again, "I'm the associate editor of the Hogwarts School Magazine. If you can take good photos, I can make you a special photographer for the school magazine."

Colin nodded in surprise and walked obediently at the back.

A few of them came to the lawn of the stadium, and from a distance they heard Wood shouting at the Slytherin captain: "Flint! This is our training time. We specially chose the hot afternoon to pack a bag. The whole court, so please get out."

Slytherin captain Marcus Flint, who looked a bit bigger than Wood, replied with a troll-like sly look: "It's a big place, Wood."

Arya, Angelina, and Katie from the Gryffindor team followed.

There were no girls on the Slytherin team, they were all big, big and three big idiots, standing side by side in a row, squinting at the Gryffindor team members with the same air.

The atmosphere between the two sides began to rattle.

"But I've got the course!" Wood snapped. "The whole course!"

"Oh," said Flint, "but I don't have a note signed by Professor Snape."

Holding the note he read: "I, Professor West Snape, allow the Slytherins to come to the Quidditch pitch today to train their new Seekers."

"You've added a new Seeker?" Wood's attention was diverted. "Where?"

From behind the six tall Slytherin team members flashed a smaller boy, with a smug smile on his pale pointed face, it was Draco Malfoy.

"Aren't you Lucius Malfoy's son?" Fred asked in disgust.

"It's interesting that you actually mentioned Draco's father." All the Slytherin team members laughed even more proudly, "Then please take a look at the gift he generously gave to the Slytherin team."

The seven people moved their brooms forward together. Seven brand-new, smooth and shiny brooms, with seven lines of beautiful golden characters "Nimbus 2001", pierced the eyes of the Gryffindors in the evening sun.

Clark, who squeezed to the front, happened to see this scene.

"The latest model, just came out last month." Flint also saw him, but said indifferently.

The rest of the Slytherins, like their captain, didn't care much about the junior wizard, even though he was in the limelight at the dinner party last year.

Only Malfoy, when he saw Clark, his pale face was even more bloodless.

However, looking at the team members around him, he still stood there without showing weakness, and did not choose to retreat. Today, he was training as a Seeker.

At this point Flint lightly dusted off a little dust from the top of his broom, "I believe it's much faster than the original Nimbus 2000 series, as for the old sweep series..."

He gave Fred and George a wicked smile, both of them swept the five-star with a handful in each hand, "Sweep the floor with them."

The Weasley twins clenched their brooms, but before they could speak, Clark, who had been standing beside him, suddenly asked.

"So, do you think that in Quidditch, people who don't have the money to buy a good broom are not fit to play the game?"

Flint looked at him ~www.readwn.com~ and didn't notice the trap hidden in Clark's words.

"Sure, what's Quidditch without a broom?" Flint said with an air of sympathy. "But maybe the Gryffindor team can get some gold and buy some brooms."

"You can do a lottery to sell those sweeping five-stars, and I think the museum might pay a premium for them."

The Slytherin players laughed rudely.

"At least not a single member of the Gryffindor team needs to spend money to join the team," Hermione couldn't help it. Take it all."

Flint's smug face darkened, Malfoy sensed something was wrong, and was about to persuade him, but it was too late.

"Nobody asked you, you stinky little Mudblood," he said viciously.

As soon as the voice fell, a loud bang sounded in the stadium.

"boom!"
