Hogwarts, a Scholar Becomes a God

Vol 6 Chapter 3: 1 day before school starts

"Master Clark, walk slowly!"

After coming out of Lihen Bookstore, Clark and the others continued to shop.

Along the way, all kinds of novel magic products dazzled the little guys, and the jingling Jin Galleons, Silver Sikes and Copper Nuts also gave them the urge to shop.

After Clark's reminder, Ron resisted not buying the new limited-edition magic card deck.

And Hermione took a fancy to a large crystal glass with a beautiful model of galaxy activity inside, which made her very excited. If she bought it, she would not need to go to astronomy class.

"I still have ten gold Galleons," she said, looking at her wallet. "September is my birthday, and my parents gave me some money to buy myself a birthday present in advance."

"Then buy this crystal horoscope, I see you like it," Neville suggested.

"How about buying a good book?" said Ron, pretending to be kind.

"No, I don't want to buy a book, and I don't want to buy a crystal orb," Hermione said quietly. "I especially want an owl. You see, Harry has Hedwig, and you have a pig—"

Piglet was a Christmas present from Clark to Ron when he was in first grade, a brown owl, which Ron named him because of its sound like a pig.

"That's right, I know there's a magical creature shop right here!" After more than two weeks of wandering around, Harry is now quite Diagon Alley, "Hermione can buy owls there, by the way, Neville, you Would you like to replace your toad too?"

Neville waved, and they crossed the street to the shop called Wonder Zoo.

There wasn't a lot of space inside the store, there were cages hanging every inch of the walls, there was a stench of feces in the air, and the noise was loud.

Because the little ones in the cage are squeaking, squealing, or hissing.

The witch behind the counter was telling a yellow-haired wizard how to take care of the two-tailed water salamander, and Clark and the others waited patiently, while carefully examining the surrounding cages.

Two huge purple toads sat there and devoured dead calliflies, their saliva dripping on the ground, and then rose purple smoke with a strong sweet smell.

A terrifyingly large tortoise sat quietly by the window, the shell on its back glistening in the sun like a jewel.

Several poisonous-looking orange snails squirm slowly along the walls of the glass jar.

The chubby white rabbit turned into a high satin hat with a "pop", and then changed back with a "pop", and it kept changing.

There were cats of all colors, a cage of rowdy ravens, and a basket of custard-colored fluff **** humming.

There was a large cage on the counter, in which the glossy black mice were playing a kind of jumping game, propped up by their long bare tails.

With so many magical pets, it's no wonder that this place is called the magical zoo.

Hermione approached the counter after the wizard who had bought the two-tailed hydra left.

"Hello, I want to buy a pet..."

Before she could finish her words, a huge ginger-colored thing suddenly jumped out of the top cage and landed on Ron's head, nearly smashing him to the ground.

"Oh, what the **** is this!" Ron yelled, shoving the thing off his head in a panic.

The big guy landed on the table very nimbly, stood up, and grinned aggressively at Ron.

"No, Crookshanks, no!" cried the witch.

Several people looked at this huge **** creature in surprise, which was a big cat with soft fur.

But the cat looked a little odd, its feet were obviously squiggly, and it had a sullen expression, with an odd persimmon face, as if it had slammed its head into a brick wall.

"It's called Crookshanks, it's a mixed-breed lion-tailed cat, with the blood of a cat and a raccoon." The witch store manager hurriedly explained to Clark and the others, "It's been here for a long time, no one wants it, So when he saw a little wizard coming to buy a pet, he was very excited."

"It's really hard to like it when it grows like this." Ron muttered softly.

Hermione didn't seem to hear him, and touched Crookshanks cautiously.

"He's such a sweet little fellow, and he's got brilliant fur, isn't he, Clark?"

The cat was a little wary at first, but upon hearing this, he immediately accepted Hermione.

"The color is quite bright, a bit like a big ball of wool, and it may be more comfortable to hold than an owl." Clark understood the hidden meaning in her words and said with a smile.

"I've decided!" Hermione stood up abruptly, holding Crookshanks in her arms.

"Decide what?" Ron looked at each other in surprise, and suddenly had a bad feeling in his heart.

Hermione held Crookshanks high, "I've decided to buy it for my birthday!"

"Hermione, this thing nearly stripped my scalp, and the cat is shedding hair, all over the place!"

Ron immediately issued a statement of objection, but the objection was invalid.

"It wasn't intentional, was it, Crookshanks?" said Hermione. "Don't worry, it's sleeping in my dorm and it won't affect you."

"You're so thoughtful," said Ron sarcastically.

"Okay, Ron!" Clark interrupted, and the cat argument came to an end.

When they returned to the Leaky Cauldron after buying everything else, they found Mr. Weasley sitting at the bar reading the Daily Prophet.

"Harry!" He heard the movement, looked up, and immediately said with a smile, "How are you?"

"Very well, thanks for your concern, Mr. Weasley," said Harry, and he and Clark, Hermione, and Ron sat down beside Mr. Weasley with their purchases.

As for Neville, he doesn't live here today and needs to go home first.

Mr. Weasley put down the newspaper, and Harry saw the picture of Sirius Blake, which he was already familiar with, staring at him.

"Has he not been caught yet?" Harry asked curiously.

"No," Mr. Weasley said with a grim expression, "the department has moved us all out of our normal positions and has gone all out to arrest him, but so far we have made no progress."

"Why do you have time to come over today, Uncle?" Clark suddenly asked.

Mr. Weasley paused for a while, and then hesitantly said, "This is the opportunity to send my children to school every year, of course I have to come."

Hermione hugged Crookshanks, glanced at Mr. Weasley, then lowered her head again.

Ron then asked, "If we catch him, is there a bonus?"

"Don't talk nonsense, Ron!" Mr. Weasley scolded him loudly.

Taking a closer look, his expression was very nervous, "Blake couldn't have been caught by a thirteen-year-old wizard, remember what I said, the Azkaban guards must be the ones who took him back in the end. ."

While they were chatting, Mrs Weasley walked into the Leaky Cauldron, carrying her purchases in large bags, followed by twin brothers Fred and George - who would start at Hogwarts. Fifth grade.

Behind the two were Percy, who had just been elected president of the Boys Student Council, and Ginny, the youngest child and only girl in the Weasley family.

Ginny had always liked Harry very much, but when she saw him now, she seemed even more shy, her face flushed red, and she whispered "Hello," and huddled behind Mrs. Weasley.

Percy tried to straighten his chest and stretched out his hand pretending to be indifferent, as if he and Clark and the others didn't know each other before: "Clark, it's nice to meet you."

A silver badge gleamed on his chest.

"Hello, Percy, congratulations!" Clark said, holding back a smile.

"It's okay, it's okay, it's everyone's support." Percy shook hands with Clark and pretended to say, it felt like a big leader was speaking on the stage.

"Clark!" Fred said, elbowing Percy aside, and then, with Fred, took Clark to the side.

Percy frowned and turned to shake Harry's hand again.

"Old man, why did the holiday come back earlier, is there something wrong with the sales of magic cards?" Fred looked at Clark nervously and asked in a low voice.

Clark watched Harry greet Percy there, and shook his head, "No, I came back for something else."

"Then why are there fewer magic card shipments during the holidays?" George asked.

"Oh, big brother, there are so many people in the entire British magic world. Almost every little wizard has a magic card at home. This sound has reached a bottleneck."

Clark said helplessly, "I have arranged for someone to open up foreign sales channels, but this is not so simple. It seems that there is news from France."

George and Fred sighed and sighed. They didn't have any good resources and methods in this regard.

Mrs. Weasley had already put her purchases on an empty chair, and Clark greeted her, "Good afternoon, Aunt Molly!"

"Good afternoon, honey, I think you must have heard of our big news?" She pointed to Percy's brand new silver badge on her chest. "Second schoolboy president in the family!"

Her pride was beyond words.

"And the last one," Fred muttered in a low voice.

"I have no doubts about that." Mrs Weasley frowned suddenly. "I noticed that you two weren't prefects."

"What are we going to be prefects for?" said George, as if the thought of it sickened him. "It would make life so boring."

Ginny giggled.

"You must set a good example for your sister!" Mrs. Weasley snapped, and then she looked at Clark again, "Oh dear, I'm not talking about you, I have no doubt that you can be president of the student body. ."

"Yes, I like you too, Clark." Percy nodded approvingly. "Ginny will have other brothers to set an example for her, Mom. I'll go upstairs to change and get ready for dinner..."

He was gone, and George breathed a sigh of relief.

"We were going to put him in a pyramid after you left," he said to Clark, "but Mom found him."

"Fortunately you left early," George interjected. "All the water in Cairo turned to blood, and there were a lot of locusts and frogs. It was chaos..."

The dinner that night was very enjoyable. Tom, the pub owner, put together three heavy tables in the hall. The Weasley family of seven, Harry, Hermione and Clark ate six delicious British home-style dishes with relish. .

Especially a Scotch egg, let Clark put it down.

This thing is a bit like an advanced version of a lion's head. The outside of a soft-hearted egg is wrapped with a layer of smashed meat filling, then brushed with egg wash, coated with bread crumbs, and placed in a frying pan for low temperature and slow frying.

When eating, cut it from the middle, you can see the flowy egg yolk gushing out, and then add some arugula at the bottom, pour a little mayonnaise or tomato sauce, the soft meat filling, egg yolk and arugula burst out rich. The taste experience, the crispy fried shell is still oozing with burnt aroma.

"By the way, Dad, how do we get to King's Cross tomorrow?" Fred asked.

At this time, they had already started dessert after dinner. It was a huge chocolate cake that was extremely delicious. The slightly bitter chocolate was so good that it inspired the sweetness of the cream. It seemed that Old Tom was also very good at making desserts.

"Two cars from the Ministry." Mr. Weasley took a sip of his gin.

Several children were very curious about this, they didn't understand why the Ministry of Magic sent them to the train station, especially Percy.

"Why?" he asked.

Mr. Weasley could only answer vaguely,

Clark noticed his ears were red, like Ron did when he was stressed.

It seems that the disappearance of Sirius Black has made the Ministry very nervous.

But also, if Harry, the savior, was attacked by Black, the impact would be great.

As far as Clark knew, the Ministry of Magic was now facing a general election, and Fudge also hoped to seek re-election.

It's just that with the rise of the Magic Congress of the United States, many rights and interests of the British Ministry of Magic have been challenged and impacted, which has made many people think of him and think that Fudge is too weak.

If there is news that Harry was attacked and killed by Voldemort's **** men at this time, then I am afraid that his plan to be re-elected as a minister will be in vain.

I just don't know, in this case, how many Aurors will be secretly escorting them tomorrow.

After dinner, it was already past ten o'clock in the evening, and everyone felt full and lethargic.

So one by one they went upstairs to their rooms, checked that the next day's things were packed, and were ready to sleep.

Clark took a step back. He went to the bar and asked old Tom for another cup of hot chocolate.

It wasn't until he lay on the bed and started snoring that Harry returned to the room with a heavy heart.
