Hogwarts: I am Voldemort

Chapter 117 Some lives must be taken

Dumbledore was never impatient, but his patience had its limits.

Ever since Snape caused a scene in the corridor on the fourth floor last year, he had fixed his sights on this person. However, half a year later, he didn't find anyone who had a special connection with this person.

The mastermind behind the scenes is always hovering in the unknown darkness like a ghost.

If his magical research hadn't distracted him partially, he would have wanted to delve deeper into Snape's secrets.

That man had been hiding in school for almost a whole school year, but his henchman was unable to do anything interesting. Dumbledore couldn't wait any longer.

He previously wanted to explore Snape's secrets after writing this book, but now...

"Bang."

The door to Snape's office was violently opened, revealing the astonished Potions Professor.

Dumbledore, Voldemort, and Professor McGonagall looked at Snape with unkind eyes.

"It's Peeves, Snape, trying to break down your door."

Dumbledore made a lame excuse and walked in first with his wand.

Voldemort followed cautiously, holding his wand at his waist, as if he could give Snape a fatal blow at any time.

Professor McGonagall did not enter the room. She stood outside the door, chasing away the students who were watching the excitement. Percy was further away, preventing students from entering the corridor.

"Headmaster, what do you mean?" Snape asked with a dark face.

"Come and see what my professor is doing, Snape, don't be nervous." Dumbledore said, glancing at the wand on Snape's waist.

Snape's hands shook, but in the end he did not choose to pick up the wand.

"Hiss~~"

Voldemort approached Snape's cauldron and smelled it. His eyes turned cold and he said to Dumbledore, "It's the compound potion, Headmaster."

"Snape, give me an explanation." Dumbledore said, raising his wand.

Voldemort stepped back and stood behind Snape, raising his wand as well.

"yes……"

Snape opened his mouth, but nothing came out.

Compound potion is not a great thing, but good people really don't need this kind of magic potion.

"Where is he?" Dumbledore asked.

"Who?" Snape asked confused.

"You know who I'm talking about." Dumbledore said seriously.

Snape's confused eyes suddenly widened, and then a flash of humiliation flashed through him.

"I'm not, Dumbledore." Snape said bitterly, "I'm not from over there, you know."

"I don't know, Snape." Dumbledore shook his head slowly, "I thought you were worthy of trust, but do you know what you have done?"

"What have I done?" Snape asked loudly.

"The corridor on the fourth floor, the Quidditch match, and this compound potion." Dumbledore lowered his head and glanced at the compound potion. Due to the stalemate between several people, the potion had been overheated and was giving off a burnt smell.

"You told me to protect the corridor on the fourth floor. It's normal for me to be there."

"Where's the Quidditch game?"

"I was using Uncurse when someone was using a curse."

"What about this time?" Dumbledore waved his wand, causing the burnt cauldron to fly aside. "Does your original appearance prevent you from walking in school?"

"I……"

Snape opened his mouth, but nothing came out.

"Why did you lie to me, Dean Snape? You said you were going out in the afternoon." Voldemort stood in the auxiliary position and hit the target at the right time.

"Damn it, can't I say that?" Snape roared, "This is my private job, selling potions on the black market."

Several people were stunned, no one expected this result.

"Then you drive me away..."

"You're here, it's not convenient for me to make it, is that okay?"

Snape turned around angrily and glared at Voldemort, who shrugged and said nothing.

"Your employer, the price of the potion, when will it be delivered..." Dumbledore said solemnly, "Don't lie, you know I will investigate strictly."

Snape curled his lips in dissatisfaction, but still confessed everything honestly.

"Dean Snape, why did you do this?" Voldemort asked doubtfully, "Isn't the dean's salary not enough for you?"

"Where do you think the medicinal materials on this wall come from? They all cost gold Galleons to buy." Although Snape's eyes towards Voldemort were still dissatisfied, they were not as violent as before.

He knew that although Voldemort's words didn't sound good, they were to the point and he was helping him.

"Well, Snape, I'll go check it out and I hope it's not you."

Dumbledore slowly put away his wand, but still looked at Snape with suspicion.

"Go and check, Dumbledore, I am yours, you know it." Snape said forcefully.

Principal room.

"Quirinas, what do you think?"

Dumbledore asked as he rubbed his temples - he felt that he was a little impulsive today.

"I don't know, Headmaster, his explanation is flawless." Voldemort said, spreading his hands.

"The biggest flaw is the absence of flaws." Professor McGonagall said dissatisfied, "Dumbledore, you are not as decisive as before."

Dumbledore smiled helplessly: "I can't catch him by the tail, McGonagall. There is no solid evidence at all."

"I'm going to check the place where I bought the potion, if..."

Before Professor McGonagall could finish her words, Dumbledore denied her.

"Mundungus Fletcher, I'll let him check it out, he's more familiar with Knockturn Alley than we are." Dumbledore said, standing up.

Professor McGonagall stopped talking, and Voldemort remained silent.

Dumbledore picked up the almost-finished book and handed it to Voldemort.

"I'm going out to see if there's anything wrong with the content here. I'll go talk to you tonight."

"Okay." Voldemort said after taking it.

"McGonagall, pay attention to Harry."

"I will." Mag nodded.

"Okay, that's it."

After Dumbledore finished speaking, he asked the two of them to go out, and he himself left the school not long after.

After Voldemort returned to the office, he quickly read the book that Dumbledore had finished writing - he didn't even read it very carefully, and his eyes glanced at the Marauder's Map from time to time.

After confirming that Dumbledore had left, his reading speed increased again, and he finished reading everything in a hurry.

"Knock, knock, knock."

There was a knock on the door, and Voldemort stopped arranging his equipment and looked at the door.

"who?"

"Professor, it's me. I didn't see you going to the cafeteria for dinner. I brought you food." Hermione's voice rang.

"It's really not the right time." Voldemort complained, put down his equipment helplessly, and turned to open the door.

"Thank you, Hermione, but I have house elves delivering meals, so if I hadn't gone to the mess hall..."

"I want to know about Snape, Professor." Hermione's big eyes were full of curiosity, "You caught him today, right?"

"Um... you can't say that, Hermione, everything is still undecided." Voldemort said helplessly as he invited her in.

"What is he doing, Professor? Is he doing something bad?" Hermione put the plate on the desk and turned to ask.

"The compound potion is not a bad thing. Dean Snape has his own opinion. Hermione, focus on studying and ignore these things." Voldemort waved his hand in disgust.

"Oh, if you don't like telling me, forget it. I brought you grilled sausages. You can try to see if they taste good." Little Hermione said, pointing to the sausages.

"It's delicious." Voldemort said with a bitter smile, "But you really don't want to bring me food in the future. Just like today, the principal left me a task..."

"Do you want to improve this book?" Hermione recognized the book at a glance. She took it and said, "Professor, you eat, I will help you read it first."

Voldemort sighed helplessly and began to eat.

Secret room, when can I go there... he thought helplessly.

Thanks also to Ralph Fiennes, who plays Voldemort - he really does look very Voldemort!

Thanks also to Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy - he is indeed very timid in real life!
