Hogwarts: I am Voldemort

Chapter 182 Severus True Double Agent Snape

Snape was his own captain, and unsurprisingly, he controlled his own life.

He chose Slytherin, he chose dark magic, he chose Death Eaters, he chose Lily Evans...

No one controls his life except fate.

Under the trend of fate, he led his life to complexity and chaos.

But he knows what he wants, and the choice is not difficult for him.

Late at night, the castle fell silent.

Students snore in their dormitories while professors and pickets patrol the floors.

Snape walked hurriedly from the basement to the eighth floor.

His eyes were still empty, and his actions were still decisive.

"Professor Snape, where are you going?"

"Principal room."

Faced with Professor McGonagall's inquiry, Snape left a few words and walked upstairs.

It seems that he is not afraid of his whereabouts being exposed at all, nor is he afraid of the prying eyes of Voldemort who doesn't know where he is hiding.

Is he really going to completely betray Voldemort?

Principal room.

"boom."

The stone statue jumped away, disturbing Dumbledore who was checking information on his desk.

"who?"

Dumbledore moved his crescent-shaped eyes down to the tip of his nose and looked out over his glasses.

"Me," Snape replied.

Dumbledore raised his eyebrows and looked at the corner of the stairs in confusion until Snape walked up.

"I just heard your voice and felt something was wrong."

Snape had only revealed half of his body, and Dumbledore left his seat as if he had jumped out of his chair.

He walked towards Snape, half-bent, looked at Snape's neck carefully, and even stretched out his hand to touch it.

"Severus, have you found the healing spell for the Cut Throat Curse?" Dumbledore looked at Snape in surprise and asked.

There are only two ways to remove the wounds left by black magic:

The first one is to heal whoever hurts and let the caster personally take back the malice, which is the best choice.

The second is to develop special medical spells for different evil spells, just like making different medicines for different flus, but this is difficult.

"Not really." Snape said concisely.

Dumbledore was stunned for a moment, then raised his eyebrows and asked, "Have you seen him?"

"Yes."

Dumbledore held his breath for a moment, turned back to his desk, picked up the hot chocolate mixed with medicine, and drank half the cup in one gulp.

"Tell me, Severus, what you have been through."

Dumbledore said, motioning for Snape to sit in front of him, and then he waved his wand, and a large pile of books on the table automatically closed and flew to the bookshelf.

Snape glanced at the books and saw that they were all books about magical creatures.

He did not comment on this, but walked towards Dumbledore and sat down slowly.

This was an action that surprised Dumbledore - Snape rarely sat down in front of him before - but he didn't say much. He just extended his hand to indicate if the other party wanted a drink.

"I never drink from other people, Dumbledore." Snape said solemnly, "You must be curious, what did he look like when I saw him?"

"What does it look like?" Dumbledore asked.

"Same as me, Dumbledore." After Snape finished speaking, he looked directly at Dumbledore.

"Ahem."

Dumbledore pushed up his glasses, as if he suddenly realized that wearing reading glasses was not suitable for conversation. He took them off, took a breath, wiped them with his sleeves, and put them aside neatly.

After doing all this, he said: "What a surprise, Severus, what a surprise."

Snape's eyes scanned Dumbledore's face, and he saw no trace of guilt, not a trace.

"I'm surprised too, Dumbledore." Snape said solemnly.

"Yes, but I think Tom always has a way, Snape, we all know he is very smart." After Dumbledore finished speaking, he immediately changed the subject and said, "What did he tell you?"

"I won't say, Dumbledore."

Snape's words immediately made Dumbledore's eyes darken.

"Then the reason you come here is..."

"He restored this place, I think he did it to show you." Snape pointed to his neck and continued, "So I came here to show you."

"So, you surrendered to him again?"

Dumbledore did not look at Snape when he asked.

He was very sure that he would not see any unnecessary expression on the face of this master of Occlumency, so he just played with his beard and looked very casual.

"He doesn't trust me and doesn't seem to need my submission."

Unexpectedly, Snape's words revealed some different information.

Dumbledore thought quickly:

The man neither tells himself what Tom said, nor does he reveal the tense relationship between the two.

So what is his purpose?

"Is he okay?" Dumbledore asked, lowering his beard. "After murdering a young wizard."

"If my judgment is correct, he did not kill that man." Snape gave another unexpected answer.

"Let's have an honest conversation, okay, Severus?" Dumbledore leaned forward and asked.

Snape looked at him, his eyes becoming more and more hollow, obviously using Occlumency with all his strength.

His actions had given the answer, he refused.

Dumbledore leaned back and stared at Snape doubtfully for a while, then suddenly asked: "Will you tell Tom the names of the books I read that you just saw?"

"If he doesn't ask, I won't answer."

Dumbledore's eyes lit up and he nodded, already understanding what Snape meant.

He would no longer be the one loyal to himself, and of course, he would not be completely loyal to Voldemort.

Dumbledore already understood that Snape was going to be a double agent, which both he and Tom knew.

In other words, he is tired of this game and doesn't want to play it anymore.

"Why?"

Dumbledore asked abruptly, but he knew that with Snape's wisdom, he could understand his subtext:

Why did you take the initiative to reveal your identity, and why do you no longer want to be involved in this matter.

Snape's brows furrowed. It looked like he had something to say, but he held it back.

"Even if you lose your job at Hogwarts, you won't hesitate?" Dumbledore asked.

"If you insist on pushing me to You-Know-Who, I have no objection." Snape said, "In fact, my hatred for both of you is indiscriminate."

Dumbledore was said to be a bit autistic. He started playing with his beard again and didn't know what to say for a while.

Snape was like a middleman sitting at the negotiation table. He was bullied by both sides and went crazy. Then he suddenly stood up and overturned the table.

Snape: I'm showing my hand, I won't play anymore.
