Hollywood starts with a broker
#145 - Brothel and drug den
After leaving the fundraising dinner, Jack Wells and Aaron arrived at the Viper Room bar in Hollywood.
"Did you know, Aaron, Johnny Depp recently invested in this bar!"

On the sofa, Jack Wells introduced with a smile to Aaron.
"Johnny Depp, is he planning to make this their stronghold?"
I guess a brothel or a den of vice would be a more suitable name!
"Probably," Jack Wells, of course, also knew about Johnny Depp.
Suddenly, Jack Wells saw two black men not far away, Sean Combs and Tupac Shakur, both excellent young black rappers and producers;
Sean Combs, at the age of 23, was already a senior executive at Uptown Records, while Tupac Shakur, only 21, had also gained some fame!
"Aaron, is black director John Singleton currently filming a new movie?"
Jack Wells asked. At the Oscars just passed, John Singleton became the first African-American director to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director with "Boyz n the Hood."
"Oh, John has a new movie?" Aaron really hadn't paid much attention.
"Yes, Columbia Pictures is investing in it. It's a love story about young black people called "Poetic Justice". The female lead is Michael Jackson's sister, Janet Jackson;"
"The male lead is a black rapper named Tupac Shakur."
Jack Wells knew this because he had run into the crew yesterday, and he knew more about the black community in the entertainment industry than Aaron did.
Like Aaron, it was normal for him not to know Sean Combs and Tupac Shakur, because they were only slightly famous now;
Moreover, Aaron didn't pay much attention to black rappers.
Aaron said with disdain, "Columbia, I noticed last year that they are very close to John Singleton;"
"Do they really think that getting an Academy Award nomination for Best Director means they can have a meteoric rise?"
Jack Wells could also hear the displeasure in Aaron's heart. After all, Aaron Anderson supported him in making "Boyz n the Hood";
John Singleton is filming a new movie, and he's directly cooperating with the previous distributor, Columbia?
Jack Wells smiled, looked in the direction of the two men, and narrowed his eyes, "Black people, sure enough, can't be trusted!"
John Singleton's "Boyz n the Hood" was successful, so he doesn't lack investors.
Aaron took a sip of his drink, "If they could be trusted, pigs would fly."
After a while, after Aaron left, Jack Wells didn't go home immediately, but used the public telephone outside to notify his friends, preparing to teach Tupac Shakur a lesson!
Soon, Jack Wells' old friend John Levine came over, and the two of them stared at Tupac Shakur and Sean Combs;
It wasn't until after one o'clock in the morning that Sean Combs and Tupac Shakur staggered out of the Viper Room bar, unsteady on their feet.
"Let's go," Jack Wells and his friend in the car at the door got out of the car and followed them directly.
"Do it!" After arriving in the alley, Jack Wells and John Levine rushed over with baseball bats, one for each.
"Bang, bang, ah, ah!"
With two screams, the drunken Sean Combs and Tupac Shakur fell to the ground with bloodied heads!
Jack Wells hit Tupac Shakur on the head with a stick, and then grabbed the other's dreadlocks and slammed them hard against the wall next to him until he fainted, just to prevent "Poetic Justice" from being filmed smoothly;
John Levine was much more ruthless. He hit Sean Combs on the back of the head with a stick, and the blood kept flowing, and he passed out directly.
After quickly taking off the necklaces, watches, and cash and other valuables from the two of them, they dragged them into a pile of garbage next to them and quickly left.
After discarding the baseball bat and gloves, John Levine looked excited, "Jack, these two guys are really rich. Gold bracelets, gold necklaces, gold watches, gold rings, and several thousand dollars in cash!"
Jack Wells didn't care too much, and gave everything to the other party, "John, were you a little too heavy-handed just now?"
"Uh, who knows? Didn't you say that we should be careful and not be discovered?"
John Levine was confident in himself, and the guy he hit would hardly survive.
"Okay," Jack Wells didn't care too much about the other guy anyway. In any case, Tupac Shakur must be seriously injured, and the injury on his head is not light!
"By the way, John, I heard that the verdict for the four police officers in the Rodney King beating case is coming soon. If they are acquitted, black people may riot;"
"During this time, the security work at the two cinemas near the city center should pay attention."
Jack Wells wouldn't think that Aaron's speculation was groundless, he was also worried.
No mistake, one first, one hair, one inside, one capacity, one in, one look!
"Want to play zero-cost shopping?" John Levine smiled.
"Don't worry, we've encountered it many times. Who can get anything good from us? We've shot several black people and Mexicans!"
Jack Wells nodded, "John, it's next month, let's go to Russia?"
John Levine thought for a while, "Have you really thought about it? You don't lack money now!"
"People always have to have their own careers. Now, managing these theaters, I feel, this is not the life I want..."
The next morning, in a street garbage dump near the Viper Room bar, someone found a black corpse and a seriously injured black man;
The dead person was Sean Combs, a black rap musician from New York. At the end of last year, he performed at a celebrity basketball game held at the City College of New York, which caused a stampede, directly causing a tragedy in which 9 people died and 29 people were injured;
Tupac Shakur, stage name 2Pac, was admitted to the intensive care unit. Last year, he released a rap album, which was publicly condemned by US Vice President Dan Quayle, which brought him a lot of attention. The black crime film "Juice" he starred in was just released at the beginning of the year, and he is currently in Los Angeles filming John Singleton's new film "Poetic Justice"!
According to preliminary estimates by the Los Angeles police, the two were robbed and attacked last night.
2Pac had only debuted not long ago, and Sean Combs had not yet formed his own Bad Boy Records to become the famous Puff Daddy in the future;
Therefore, the incident involving the two did not cause too much repercussions. After all, in Los Angeles, it is too normal for two black rappers to be robbed and attacked!
Jack Wells didn't know that his impulsive decision caused a heavy loss to the future black rap scene...
