#33 - Is the intended candidate

"Oh, you want me to help you recommend this script to Mr. Coppola?"

In an office for "The Godfather Part III," Aaron met Al Pacino.

"Yes, it was entrusted to me a few days ago by the Italian director Giuseppe Tornatore, whose film 'Cinema Paradiso' won the Cannes Film Festival Jury Prize this year;"

"This 'Everybody's Fine' tells a family ethics story about kinship. Although I recommended it to Disney, I can't guarantee that Disney will lend a hand to this script!"

After hearing Aaron Anderson's words, Al Pacino smiled, "It's just too artistic, and those big companies like Disney won't like it, right?"

"Yes," Aaron nodded.

"'Cinema Paradiso,' I know that movie. It's about Sicily and was filmed well;"

"Don't worry, I will recommend your script to Mr. Coppola," Al Pacino also understood why Aaron Anderson would approach Coppola.

Italian works are indeed easily favored by Coppola, especially since Giuseppe Tornatore is also a representative figure among young Italian directors in recent years!

"Thanks, then I'll leave first," Aaron then got up and left the office. Jennifer Connelly should have finished her audition…

Outside the studio, Aaron immediately saw Jennifer Connelly looking listless, and guessed the result.

Aaron smiled, patted her shoulder, and comforted her: "It's just an audition, it's nothing. Let's go back first!"

Jennifer Connelly got into the car, "My audition time was only half an hour. Winona Ryder went in after me, and it's been 45 minutes, and she hasn't come out yet."

Aaron muttered to himself that with Winona Ryder's current acting skills and popularity, it was indeed very suitable for her to star in "The Godfather Part III."

Looking at the situation, she was invited by Mr. Coppola, and should be the director's choice, but Aaron does remember that the daughter in "The Godfather Part III" was played by Coppola's own daughter, Sofia Coppola!

He shook his head in his heart. This kind of thing has nothing to do with him. Italians value family, which is an indisputable fact. Only those involved know what happened inside.

On the set of "The Godfather Part III," Francis Coppola was very satisfied with Winona Ryder's audition.

If there are no accidents, he should let her play the role of the daughter in the play!

Back in the office, Coppola received a script recommended by Al Pacino.

"Giuseppe Tornatore, he is a good young Italian director!"

Francis Coppola and Al Pacino are also old friends. Since the other party recommended it, it certainly wouldn't be a random script.

"Yes, he found an agent at CAA for help. This agent knows me and asked me to show you the script;"

"I think the story is pretty good!"

Al Pacino casually introduced it, while Francis Coppola flipped through the script.

"A CAA agent, is that the young man next to Jennifer Connelly?"

"Yes, he was the one who convinced me to star in 'Pretty Woman', otherwise, I might have gone to the 'Dick Tracy' crew."

Al Pacino smiled as he said, "This kid has some vision. He discovered 'Sex, Lies, and Videotape'!"

"I see…"

After Francis Coppola roughly browsed the script, "What a pity, the story focuses on family kinship, it's very heartwarming;"

"The budget is not high, less than 10 billion lire. If I didn't have to direct 'The Godfather Part III,' I could completely be the producer!"

Paramount requires "The Godfather Part III" to be released during the Christmas season next year, and Coppola has no other energy.

If Francis Coppola's name is on the producer list of "Everybody's Fine", there will definitely be no shortage of distributors to invest;

After all, the cost of this movie is not high. According to the current exchange rate, 10 billion Italian lire is only more than 7 million US dollars! (The current exchange rate between the US dollar and the Italian lira is about 1:1400)

"'Everybody's Fine' is very artistic and lacks commercial elements. You can suggest that he look for independent art film merchants to support it;"

"How about this, I'll introduce him to the Heritage Entertainment Company, they should be interested."

Al Pacino nodded and would notify Aaron Anderson when he had time.

Neither Al Pacino nor Francis Coppola really cared much;

Mainly, the script of "Everybody's Fine" is an Italian art film, and this reason is more important than Aaron Anderson's identity!

In October in New York, the weather has turned cold. Compared to the warmth of Los Angeles, it is much colder here.

In a suite at the St. Regis Hotel, Aaron was on the phone with Al Pacino, "Thank you, and please convey our gratitude to Director Coppola on behalf of Mr. Pacino!"

After putting down the phone, Aaron pondered the Heritage Entertainment Company mentioned by the other party, which is an American art film distributor;

It manages Landmark Theatres, an art-house cinema chain with approximately 50 cinemas and over 200 screens in the United States.

"Aaron, what's wrong?"

Jennifer Connelly, who came out of the bathroom, saw Aaron sitting on the sofa in a daze.

"Huh," Aaron saw Jennifer Connelly wrapped in one of his shirts, her sexy and full figure looming. She was indeed a sexy bombshell!

"For 'The Godfather Part III,' Director Coppola favors Winona Ryder," Al Pacino had already informed him of the result during the phone call just now.

As he spoke, Aaron pulled Jennifer Connelly into his arms and kissed the beauty in his arms!

"Mmm," after a long French kiss, Jennifer Connelly's breathing was disordered, her eyes were blurred, and she hugged Aaron's neck, showing intimacy.

"Wasn't last night enough? Winona, sure enough, they chose her!"

"How could I ever have enough of a woman like you? When are you planning to go back to school?"

Aaron asked, feeling Jennifer Connelly's alluring 34D in his arms.

"Not so fast, at least a week or two. Stanford University suffered some damage in the earthquake and needs to be cleaned up first!"

"Is that so? That's good, then stay with me at the hotel for the next few days?"

Jennifer Connelly smiled, "I'm going home for a few days, and then I'll come and find you."

"Okay," Aaron was going to visit Heritage Entertainment anyway. He had to run the "Everybody's Fine" project for Giuseppe Tornatore.

"By the way, don't leave tonight. I'll take you back tomorrow," Jennifer Connelly's home is here in New York.

Aaron was very satisfied last night, and of course he was reluctant to let Jennifer Connelly leave today!
