On the street, you can often see geishas, ​​wearing kimonos, stepping on wooden sandals, wearing high hair buns, holding flower fans, and walking gracefully on the street. Their faces and necks are covered with pale foundation, and they are painted with thick eye shadows. Only from the elegant yellow and white crossing line on the back of their heads and necks can they see their original skin color.

After coming down from Kiyomizu Temple, I went to Kodaiji Temple.

When you walk in, you feel that the style is completely different from Kiyomizu Temple, compared to the scale and grandeur of Kiyomizu Temple. The Caotai Temple looks like Xiaojiabiyu, and I don't see the towering temple towers, but it looks like a private garden built on a small hill.

The whole temple garden looks exquisite and elegant. The red maple, steps, pools, pavilions, and pavilions seem to be well planned. No matter what angle you look at, they are just right. It can be described as a step by step scene, which is completely artificially carved. Full of craftsmanship, without the beauty of nature.

A pool of green pond is located in the middle of the whole temple, next to it is the Wolong Corridor, which leads all the way to the main hall. To enter the main hall, you must take off your shoes. The main hall is called the spiritual house, and the spiritual positions of Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Kitasasho are enshrined. On the left and right sides are the seated statues of Kita Masayo and Toyotomi Hideyoshi; in the central shrine is the secret Buddha of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the "On Demand Bodhisattva", which is well-known in the world.

After listening to Tanaka's introduction, Yunduo realized that this was a temple built by Kitamasho Ning Ning (Mrs. Toyotomi Hideyoshi) in 1606 to miss her late husband. It is also the residence of Ningning in his later years and the cemetery after his death. During the construction process, Tokugawa Ieyasu gave financial support. The official name is Gaotai Shousheng Temple.
