“Are you okay?”

Is she on my side now?

“Yes, okay.”

I looked at her, my eyes narrowing.

“But you are also someone’s precious child?”

“I grew up with a spine. For my family I’m a living investment in the future.”

Angel smiled faintly. Then her expression turned serious.

“I’m sorry. I couldn’t stop them from being rude to you first. I wanted to say something on the first day.”

I nodded.

“Thanks for saying that.”

Angel smiled faintly at me.

“I’m Angel de Koleyan. Call me Angel.”

“Yes, call me Leticia.”

“Your hair is a similar color to mine. I wish my hair was as strawberry blonde as yours.”

I touched my hair, which the maids had been braiding all morning. This is the first time I’ve heard such a compliment from another girl.

“Your hair is pretty too.”

Angel nodded slightly.

“Aren’t you bored? We usually play outside and make more noise.”

“Is this the usual atmosphere here?”

“When certain people fight with others, it gets like this for a while. Then it calms down. Don’t worry, you did nothing wrong.”

“Angel, you seem very mature.”

At our age, that’s the best compliment you can give. And I was also sincere. Angel seemed to be delighted at my words.

Then I met the gazes of the children who were gancing at us. They all stood side by side and eavesdropped on our dialogue.

‘But I need to do something about this atmosphere first.’

Then I glanced at Angel and stood up. Then I took a step towards Lavigne.

“What, what do you want?”

Lavigne stood up with an overly sensitive reaction, raising both arms in a defensive posture. I chuckled.

“Okay, let’s play a game and have fun.”

All the kids become friends that way.

The last class of the day was a painting class where we learned about art while looking at some incredibly expensive masterpieces borrowed from a museum.

“This is the end of today’s lesson. If you want additional classes, please wait in the next classroom.”

“Additional classes?” I asked.

“Yes. If you liked it today, you can ask the teacher about an extra lesson.”

Angel explained. Everyone is going home.

‘An opportunity to ask about this and that.’

But I was different from the kids. I have to learn when I can.

I headed towards the next classroom and grabbed a chair, but someone else grabbed it at the same time as me.

“Ah!”

Surprised, I turned to see who it was… a boy.

‘A boy?’

‘Who is it?’

Platinum hair. As if a silver thread had been sewn into it. And violet-colored eyes.

‘Wow, I’ve never seen such an eye color before,’ I thought.

There is such a precious stone – amethyst, which I saw only once in a book about jewelry, which I read in a past life. It was the color that reminded me of that jewel.

‘He’s really pretty.’

I’ve never seen such a handsome boy other than Jade. I was surprised.

“Isn’t this a girls’ school?” I asked.

“Yes, but isn’t this a drawing classroom?”

“It’s right, but…” I hesitated. He let go of the chair.

” I’m sorry, I’m Cedric, and I’m here for an exchange program from a boys’ school.”

“Ah…”

A boys’ school?

“I’m sorry to startle you. There aren’t many students who take additional lessons, so I thought I would be the only one here.”

He smiled, and I couldn’t help but think that he was as shiny as Jade among those under 15 years old. He had a beautiful and precious face, and he looked a couple of years older than me. He definitely looked like he came from a noble family.

I couldn’t help but make such a guess in my head. He looked oddly peculiar, almost angelic, yet mature at the same time.

A boy named Cedric removed his hand from the chair and I sat down first.

‘But why are you sitting next to me?’
