The court painter Luton, with his mouth gaping open, went to work to the duchy.

‘What’s so great about the little princess?’

The Duke, who had been running away from a portrait all year, changed his mind and said he would do a portrait if he was with his daughter.

‘Ugh. This is not the time for me to think about this.’

For Luton, painting portraits of nobles was just a means of making a living.

He had received a pre-order for a painting to be exhibited at the palace, but he was having a hard time with the painting not turning out well.

‘A painting about a mythical world. Hmm, the men and women playing in the clouds and the fairies in the forest are all too common. I don’t like any of the things I’ve drawn.’

Naturally, he was annoyed with everything.

‘What’s so special about the Duke’s adopted daughter?’

Of course, she was cute enough to make his ears ring with the squeaky voice.

It was fun to see.

Curling long strawberry blonde hair that flickers with sparkling green eyes.

Blinking eyes.

‘She’s pretty. Let’s see…’

But still, she was just a kid.

‘Wait, let me stop the carriage for a moment.’

Luton stopped breathing as he passed through the Duke’s garden. And then he saw a scene. He opened his mouth.

“Fifi! I told you not to do that. You have to stay still so I could hit the target!”

It was the Duke’s daughter. Wasn’t her name lady Leticia? She was riding on the back of a tiger that was only a house high, wearing a red silk dress… She took out a small tool from her arms and moved her arms.

Bang! Bang!

Then, mysteriously, the targets and straw puppets that had been set up in front of him collapsed.

“Ah! I hit them all! Yay!”

As she lost her balance and was about to fall, the tiger caught her with its whole body. The tiger, growling and rubbing its big head against the girl.

“Meow!”

Huge, silver wolves began to gather around. They all extended their snouts towards the girl and nuzzled her cheeks. In the midst of it all, the girl giggled and smiled.

“Uh, it tickles.”

It was an unbelievable sight.

‘Am I dreaming?’

Luton rubbed his eyes.

‘This isn’t a scene from this world.’

Even the forest fairies in the legends couldn’t have tamed beasts perfectly like this.

“Master Painter? What should we do?”

“Turn the carriage.”

“Yes?”

“The portrait can wait. Ahh, I just saw the most mysterious and beautiful sight on earth. I have to draw the goddess right away. Yes, a goddess that appeared in the form of a little girl!”

The coachman turned the carriage around, wearing an exasperated expression at the painter muttering like a crazy person.

“The painter ran away?”

“Yes, he was too busy with his own work because he was inspired by artistic inspiration. It seems a bit rude,” Zion said, furrowing his handsome eyebrows.

“Sitting still is bothersome, so it’s fine. Our baby’s talking and smiling is the cutest thing. Even if you draw a picture, you won’t be able to capture even half of her cuteness.”

Collen said nonchalantly.

“What is this all about? Isn’t he supposed to draw me and Leticia?”

Jade complained, showing his temper. Leticia, who was stuck in between them, only broke out in a cold sweat.

‘Huh? Could it be that he saw our family and ran away?’

Leticia looked at the teddy bear in her arms.

‘No way. It must be just a mood swing. It’s just a mood swing.’

Leticia shrugged her shoulders.

Jade left again for the Mage Tower, and I felt a little down.

‘Why does it feel like there’s a noticeable emptiness here?’

Then, on the afternoon that Jade left, Collen asked me:

“Where should we go?”

A chance to go out! My ears perked up.

“I want to go check out the new cookie shop!”

My friends said the strawberry sandwich cookies at the new store were really delicious.

“And this one, and this one too!”

I looked at the assortment of cookies on display, bought a bag full of them, and carried them out with me. The other kids looked at me enviously as I held the biggest bag of cookies.
