Human King

Chapter 132: Back to Village

The goblins were able to reach their village quite fast. After all, they were running like a mad man ever since Dawn was already up.

They didn't have to be considerate of him or anything like that.

They also didn't have to guard him so intensely, unlike when he was still down.

That was why their speed was faster than ever, and that was also why they were in the village now.

However, it's not like all things were alright now just because Dawn woke up.

There were still some problems that they haven't solved, and that was...

"Monsters, huh. I knew that they would come up here." Karkas said as he looked at the village.

Their village was big, and that was why it was easy to see from afar.

And what was resting on their village was some monsters that seem to be strong.

What's more, it wasn't just one type of monster either. They were all kinds of monsters that were resting.

They even looked like they had some sort of hierarchy as there were some monsters that were guarding the village.

It was clear that there was a strong monster who was taking the lead here.

It was then that Karkas heard someone speak to him. And that was his king, Dawn.

"How is it? Are we forced to fight them?"

Dawn asked as he didn't want to fight any monsters for now.

After all, that would result in his goblins being lessened.

He didn't want that to happen, as that is why he was trying to avoid any fights.

However, even Dawn would be forced to fight if the monsters were staying in his village.

"Yes, king. If we want to get back to the village, we would have to conquer it again."

"And if we fight...we would lose goblins."

Karkas said as he knew that Dawn didn't want to lose goblins anymore.

After all, Dawn wanted to storm the Five Great Clans right now.

However, even Karkas wasn't able to come up with a plan that would make that possible.

After all, it wasn't just in the realm of impossible; it was in the realm of imagination.

It was something that could only be done in one's imagination, and even Karkas believed that as well.

---Hmm...

Dawn was thinking of what they should do from now on. After all, even if a goblin could make do in the wild, they wouldn't be able to survive that long.

A goblin needs a home where they wouldn't have to stay on guard because there would be some threats in their life.

And that was exactly what a village is.

That was why even if Dawn didn't want to fight, he was forced to make a decision that would definitely end up making his goblins fight.

Their numbers may be less due to their recent battles, but they still number many, a lot!

Those goblins wouldn't be able to survive in the wilds alone, where even Dawn wouldn't even be able to order them efficiently.

After all, there would definitely be some obstacles, stones, rocks, trees, and whatever it is that would disrupt the chain of orders.

---Hmm. I have no choice.

And literally, Dawn had no choice but to fight. That was the only choice he had.

Even though Dawn considered making another village, that would be the same as fighting these monsters.

After all, the process of making a village in some other place would result in random monster attacks.

And in those random monster attacks, goblins would die.

It was just the same, even if they were to fight here now.

Well, there were some advantages in fighting here now as they didn't have to look for any other places.

They just need to fight. And that was what goblins do best.

"It can't be helped. Storm in." Dawn said as he looked at Karkas.

Of course, Karkas was already waiting for him, and that was why when Dawn gave his order, Karkas shouted.

"Attack!!"

It was the beginning of a fight once more.

Dududu! The goblins started running as they invaded their village.

Thud! The sound of the rocks, obstacles, trees falling down to the ground resounded out.

However, it was just blessed goblins and the normal goblins who were attacking.

They were also Didi and Razta, but Dawn was not included in the fight right now.

And that was because Dawn had other things in his mind.

And that was...

"Karkas, come with me." Dawn said as he disappeared on the spot.

Of course, Karkas also disappeared as he followed after Dawn.

However, as Karkas didn't have his body strengthened and enhanced like Dawn, he wasn't able to catch up.

Well, it's not like Karkas had to catch up right now as Dawn was still leaving behind some tracks that Karkas just needs to follow.

That was why Karkas didn't get lost, and when a considerable amount of time has passed, Karkas finally caught up to Dawn.

Dawn was just standing on top of the tallest tree. And when Karkas was able to stand next to him, Dawn spoke.

"What do you think?" Dawn said as he looked at the goblins and the monsters fight.

As Dawn didn't want to lose his goblins any more than what he already lost, Dawn wanted to finish this fight quickly.

And that was why Dawn was asking Karkas if it would be possible.

Of course, Karkas knew that as well as he spoke.

"Hmm. The only way to end it fast is to kill the monster who leads them."

"However, I can't identify something like that as they look...disorganized."

Karkas then closed his eyes. He wanted to answer his king's expectations.

That was why he thought about something that would help his king being able to identify the monster leader.

And what Karkas thought was, of course, strength.

"If you could find the strongest monster there, I think that would work, my king."

And when Dawn heard that, he quickly switched it up.

"Strongest monster, huh."

Dawn said as he observed the monsters like a hawk!

As Dawn was a monster, in essence, he didn't shy away from these monstrous-looking creatures.

He looked at them carefully and observed every single thing about them.

And he went over them one by one as if each of them were special to him.

And that was why Dawn was able to identify the strongest monster much earlier.

"I found him." Dawn said as he churned up his Aura.

He then disappeared as if his duty was already done, and it was now time to work another job.

Well, that was the truth, as that was exactly the case.

And so, Karkas was left behind in this tree.

"Good fortune in the battlefield, my king." Karkas said as he bowed his head.

Whooo.

The wind blew, and that was the only thing Karkas could hear.

And when some time has passed, he now could hear loud explosions coming from the village.

Of course, the cause of that was Dawn and the strongest monster fighting.

That was why Karkas now left, as his duty would be to support his king with the goblins.

****

While Karkas was doing his own thing, Dawn was currently fighting it out with the strongest monster.

However, from what Dawn could see, this strongest monster...was just a piece of small fry.

After all, it was literally that.

The strongest monster that Dawn could find in this swarm of monsters was a bone!

It wasn't any bone as it was a hand!

And right now, Dawn was fighting against this bone!

Shhhh!

Dawn's feet slide off the ground after parrying an attack against the bone.

It seems that Dawn was even having a hard time against this bone.

However, it didn't matter to Dawn.

---Monster bones, or skeleton, was it. Why the fuck is a bone the strongest monster?

Dawn asked in his mind as he literally didn't get this situation.

Although he would fight any monster, he couldn't understand how a bone could be the strongest monster in here.

After all...

Boom!

With its head stretched out to attack him, Dawn backed off once more.

And when Dawn looked up, he could see nine heads slithering in the sky.

And this monster...hydra was big! The hydra was literally touching the sky.

With those nine heads and some other powers under its sleeve, this hydra could possibly be one of the strongest monsters here.

However, Dawn knew that the real threat here was the bone.

And that was why Dawn couldn't understand it.

Why is a bone the strongest, and not this big ass shit that seems perfect for the title, strongest?

---Ah, whatever. I'll pound both of them to death.

Dawn thought as he started running off towards the hydra.

As the hydra was technically the weaker monster, Dawn would have an easier time pounding that piece of trash.

However, it's not like the bone would let him do that as it flew to the air towards Dawn!

Its speed was unfathomable, and its sharpness was like a blade!

Swosh!
