Human King

Chapter 182: A quick battle

Splash!!

With his punch coming from his right fist, Moris' Presence exploded out towards the huge piece of...shit.

Right, it was a huge piece of shit for Moris, but it was certainly not shit.

It was the mud monster, Graga. And Moris' fist covered with his Presence has immediately made their way towards the muddy body of Graga.

Right, Moris punched Graga once more as he controlled his powers in his fist!

And what happened was, of course, Graga's death with his body exploding out in every direction possible.

Graga's muddy body went here and there, up and down, literally in every direction possible.

As Graga's muddy body consisted of the huge mud pool that was located in this place, it was only natural that mud pool...would soon form.

It would soon form a muddy pool on the ground, but it was not only on the ground.

It would form on the trees, it would paint the sky, and it would definitely wash away the dead bodies of the monsters scattered here and there.

And that was exactly what happened as Moris...punched Graga's muddy body once more with his right fist covered with his Presence!

Although Graga was dead now as his main body was utterly destroyed by Moris' Presence alone, half of his muddy body was still intact.

And since Moris was someone who didn't know shit about the muddy monster, Graga, it was only natural that he would think that he was still alive considering that his corpse was still standing.

Splash!!

Of course, Graga's body quickly became battered and destroyed as it exploded once more.

Again, it went literally in every direction possible as it even tainted Moris' body with the mud.

Of course, that mud soon became nothing as Moris...landed on the ground swiftly.

It seems that Moris finally believed that Graga was dead now and didn't need any more punching.

Well, Graga's muddy body was now destroyed in and out, thoroughly.

It would be weird instead if Graga was still alive even after that. And that was why Moris thought that he was finally dead.

And when Moris landed on the ground without any problems, he soon looked around as he whipped his head here and there.

It seems that he was still wary of any possible enemies.

Well, he should be. After all, this was the fortress that he found as he made his way over here.

What's more, he just started killing any monsters on sight without any limitations or thinking at all.

The shaking that Graga felt when he was still in the mud pool was because of Moris who was destroying monsters here and there.

Right, the monsters scattered on the ground with their dead bodies were caused by Moris.

It didn't take him long to defeat them as he literally just spent seconds of his time killing them.

It seems that Moris was too strong for the monsters here, and that was the truth.

After all, when Graga came out after seconds of being disturbed, Moris was already on his way to kill Graga.

Moris was able to feel that the strongest monster in this fortress and the whole place was the one swimming in the mud pool that he could see from afar.

That was why Moris wasted no time at all in killing Graga as he thought that Graga with his monsters would be a potential threat to him.

However, he never expected that Graga was actually so weak that he would die just from a few punches.

If Moris knew that Graga was that weak, he wouldn't have rushed in killing the monsters.

He would have taken his time, and he would observe the monsters more than he did.

Well, as long as the job was done, Moris could be satisfied with the result.

Anyway, Moris could no longer feel any monsters in this place, and he was sure of it as his senses were still hyper right now.

And since there were no longer monsters, Moris immediately did what he needed to do in order to better himself.

And that was...he calmed himself down.

Right, Moris tried to calm himself, and he did that by...breathing in and out with his lungs.

"Huuuuu. Haaaaa." Moris said as he breathed in and out.

It seems that Moris was able to realize that he was going out of control because of his instincts.

Well, any goblin strong enough would be able to notice that.

Anyway, it took Moris a long time to calm himself until he could feel that his senses were no longer that hyper and active.

Right, Moris was able to return to the normal him and normal senses without any problems at all as he just calmed himself.

It was quite amazing if you think about it, but it took Moris a long time to do it.

That was also why Moris checked first if there were any monsters still alive or hiding before he calmed himself.

After all, he knew that it would take a long time, and a lot of concentration so he didn't want to be attacked while he was doing that.

Anyway, now that Moris calmed himself, he first checked the situation first.

Swosh!

Moris disappeared on the spot where he was standing, and he reappeared on top of the tallest tree that one could find in this place.

Of course, the tallest tree that Moris was standing on top of was one of the trees that was being used as some sort of a barrier in this fortress.

And Moris was just looking down on the ground as he tried to assess this place if it would be suitable.

Of course, the whole place was covered in mud because of what Graga did when he died.

There were also some spots in this place which Moris could see that a mud pool was forming over.

There was so much mud that this place only looked to be unattractive to any normal human being.

However, of course, it didn't matter to a monster such as Moris at all.

And since it didn't matter to such a monster, Moris just looked over the key points of this place.

After all, it's not like he could just assess this place just because of the mud or something like that.

He had to look if this place would be safe for the goblins or something like that.

Although Dawn hadn't specifically ordered him to do something like this, it was only right for Moris to do something like this.

After all, he was the first one to launch the strike in this war.

He would be the first one to confirm if the information that the hyena told him was true.

He would be the first one to confirm if the enemies were truly as strong as they thought.

He would be the first one to conquer the fortress belonging to the enemy.

And it was only right for him to bring all those kinds of pieces of information back to his king.

And what Moris had to say for this fortress was...

'Hmm...we can use it as the main point, but not as our base.' Moris thought as he whipped his head here and there.

Right, Moris could tell that the goblins could use it as the main point of their invasion to the southeast of the forest, but not as their base.

Of course, by the base, he meant as their sleeping quarters or the place that the goblins would use to sleep just in case the war with the southeast of the forest's rulers gets dragged out.

And by the main point, he meant as the starting point in getting rowdy in the southeast of the forest.

Well, it was obvious that the goblins could only use this place as their main point as it was just too muddy.

Although the trees that were serving as barriers or walls of some sort are indeed nice and would provide them some protection, it didn't really matter if the insides of it were in a mud pool.

Anyways, now that Moris decided that this place could not be used as a base for the goblins and their king, he quickly made his decision to go back.

Although he hadn't really conquered this place, as long as the monsters native to this area are dead, Moris would have served his purpose.

That was why Moris disappeared as he reappeared on another tree.

Of course, that other tree was far away from the fortress, and it was in the direction of where Dawn and the others were staying.

It seems that Moris was really confident in his decision as he didn't even look back to change his mind or something like that.

He absolutely had no hesitation to do it, and it seems that he plans to say his mind to his king as well.

Well, Dawn would probably believe what Moris have to say as Moris was the one who went there and did the work.

Besides, Moris was one of the few goblins who could actually think.

It was only natural that Dawn would trust whatever opinions Moris had in his mind.
