Human King

As soon as Karkas gave the signal to march, the goblins immediately started their preparation.

They went on their positions and made up the formation that Karkas has told them about.

Well, the formation that Karkas had in mind was actually simple.

It was just the blessed goblins would be in the center, where the king would be.

The normal goblins would then completely surround that center, and the group and they would march with that formation.

That was why the goblins were able to get to their position and start the march quickly.

After all, the formation was so easy that the goblins could do it without practicing anything.

And while they were in that position, Karkas was standing atop the tallest tree he could find in the area.

He wasn't at the front to lead the goblins, nor was he at the center where Dawn was resting.

It was weird if one thought about how he was the one leading these goblins or about how he was crazily worried about Dawn.

However, Karkas thought that him being positioned at the back was the most reasonable choice to make as he was the one leading them.

And it seems that he was right as his red eyes shone with light.

After all, Karkas could see every goblin that was moving right now. He could see the normal goblins at the very most front.

He could see the goblins stationed at the left and right side, and he could even see the goblins who were at the back.

Of course, they weren't the only goblins Karkas could see, as he could see the most important group out of all the goblins.

It was absurd to think that Karkas could see them all as this was a forest, where trees and rocks and more trees would hinder one's vision.

Well, it wouldn't really matter to a goblin such as Karkas as a goblin knows the ins and outs of a forest.

Anyway, what Karkas was thinking about right now was how easy the journey was.

Although Karkas wasn't really moving, the front of their formation is actually very far from Karkas right now.

And even that group has not even fought a single monster.

However, there were many corpses of many different monsters scattered on the ground.

Apeman, Rhino, Skeletons…and there were many more.

Karkas knew what caused those monsters' deaths, and he thought about how right his decision was.

After all, if Karkas' group of goblins haven't even started fighting yet, that means the group that Razta was leading was doing a good job.

It was proof of how strong the goblins from the Four Big Villages are.

Well, they were really strong. They couldn't just show their strength off in front of Dawn as they were cast in his shadow.

"Did I overthink things?" His red eyes reflected the dark forest of the night.

Karkas was thinking about how the situation was too easy.

Although the first group did clear the forest, the formation that the goblins had right now was so wide that it wouldn't be weird if they met a monster.

The numbers of the goblins may have dwindled a little bit, but 300 goblins are still many.

One goblin chief could create a Big Village just with those numbers.

That was why it was weird. The forest was overflowing with monsters right now. It was to the point that anyone could meet a monster just by walking around in the forest.

Karkas knows that as well, which is why he was suspicious of the forest.

After all, even if the monsters have indeed retreated from this place because of the battle and because of Razta's group, there should be some monsters that the goblins would meet.
