Every boss had a history.

People couldn't tell if that history happened in the dimension that was connected through the gate, if it was a remnant of the past, or if it was a completely different dimension, but people could take a glimpse.

Hunters had gotten access to that information thanks to the 'Tower Records' from the Tower. The Records didn’t tell of how to subjugate Sardonyx, but they did tell her story.

Swoosh-

A hologram of blue light appeared before everyone.

[Would you like to read the Tower Records?]

[Information Type: Boss]

[No5661: Red Dragon Sardonyx]

Rosa had gathered all of the rookie students and spoke while making a non-interested expression. "I'm sure you heard the explanation from the mentors, but think of this as an honor. Reading the 'Tower Records' is something that's allowed only to the highest-ranking hunters."

The method of reading the record was easy—you had to place your hands on the hologram and send a bit of mana into it.

Rosa added a few more explanations. "Make sure to remember everything while reading the Records. There's a chance a small piece of information will create a…"

She suddenly stopped speaking and looked at Wei Lin, who was yawning and shrugged when she saw Rosa looking at her.

"To think she'd choose someone like her as a next-generation hunter. Poor Mei Lin."

Rosa gave Lin a look like she found her pathetic; then she began looking at each of the students as she walked toward Wei Lin and tapped on her shoulder. "Stay focused. In a raid like this, it wouldn't be surprising if any of you died."

Since the other person was a rank 7 hunter, Wei Lin couldn't react in any way to the harsh comment.

"I… I'm sorry…"

The atmosphere was completely different from the academies they were used to, and the students began extending their hands.

BZZT-!

As their hands touched the hologram, blue sparks began pouring out.

YuSung sent a bit of mana to the palms of his hands. 'I'll put mana here…'

Swoosh-!

He was surrounded by white light as he used mana. The background of the hotel was disappearing, and the world began changing to one he'd never seen before.

Before leaving to Italy, YuSung had left a short message to his party members.

[Shin YuSung: While I'm gone, use the party card to clear the Tower.]

Their recorded floor was 2.

When he thought about how strong his party members were, he realized it would be easy. Their goal was to reach the 20th floor, and the only floor known to be hard was the 10th one, a boss stage.

EunAh and Amy were sitting on a rock while making tired expressions.

"From the 5th floor… How tiring…"

Kim EunAh had spent eight hours running through the forest.

"I touched its front foot, but then it stomped on the ground and began flying through the sky! Agh. Why's a wingless bunny flying…?"

Amy had lost a silver bunny that was right before her. The two girls that had grown up in a refined environment were struggling because of one of the Tower’s quests.

[5th Floor entrance condition: Grab a Silver Bunny and a Golden Rat.]

[Silver Bunny 0/5]

[Golden Rat 0/5]

[Information: The Silver Bunny can be found during the day.]

[Information: The Golden Rat can be found during the night.]

Kim EunAh and Amy's goal was to grab a Silver Bunny, but they were fearful creatures that could move in many ways.

"If it wasn't grabbing…"

EunAh seemed annoyed by the fact she hadn't been able to grab a single one. In reality, it wasn't that EunAh didn't have the opportunity to grab a Silver Bunny.

No matter how fast it was, in the end, it was just a bunny—they couldn't dodge Kim EunAh's lightning.

"Well… If you'd grabbed the ones you'd cooked, you would have grabbed two."

Just like Amy said, EunAh had cooked two Silver Bunnies. Controlling her lightning so it wouldn't kill the Silver Bunnies was hard.

She thought she was close to a rank 5 hunter, but to think she'd struggle because of a bunny.

Kim EunAh sighed. Amy seemed tired.

"EunAh, I'm hungry…" Amy made a tired expression while holding her stomach. They'd spent eight hours running, so it was understandable they'd be hungry.

"Me too… but we must find Sumire first. I'm sure she's also struggling."

To think EunAh would be tired of someone else. It was something that one couldn't have imagined before.

"Yes. Sumire's by herself, so she's probably really lonely. We must find her fast… If only we could send a message…"

They couldn't send messages to each other on the 5th floor.

Basically, they had to run across the island to search for and find Sumire.

"That's why we should walk for the moment."

EunAh and Amy were walking and thinking about Sumire when…

Swoosh-!!

It began raining. They were soaked as they walked, and their feet were getting covered in mud.

"A-achoo!" Amy sneezed as the temperature went down.

"I've seen the party leader… Sniff… Make an umbrella with mana. Should I try it?" Amy mumbled while cleaning her nose.

EunAh shook her head. "You will get even hungrier. Don't waste your strength. You won't be able to maintain it for a minute…"

They were walking while searching for Sumire when Amy grabbed EunAh's clothes and shouted with her eyes wide open, "Huh, EunAh! Over there! A bunny!"

Her vision was very precise, and the Silver Bunny was trying to dig a hole to escape the rain.

"EunAh! I'll grab it with my whip!"

Amy tried to take her weapon from her Pocket, but EunAh quickly pulled some of the mana from within her body.

"It's already too late!"

Since the Silver Bunny was digging, grabbing it with a whip would be impossible. The only way to catch it was through electricity.

EunAh was surrounded by water—the situation was perfect for electrocuting it. She stomped on the ground and shouted, "Spread!"

Splash!

BZZT-!

Sparks extended from her food, and the electricity followed a path of water. Amy began trembling at EunAh's electricity.

"Agh-!"

EunAh didn't have time to care for Amy.

"I… I grabbed it! I grabbed a bunny!"

The Silver Bunny was unconscious. EunAh left Amy behind and rushed toward the Silver Bunny.

Kim EunAh quickly grabbed the unconscious Silver Bunny…

Badump. Badump.

She felt the Silver Bunny's heartbeat.

"It's alive… The bunny is alive!" EunAh mumbled in happiness. They’d managed to catch the first one after eight hours.

"Isn't this too unfair…?" Amy mumbled as she looked at EunAh.

[Silver Bunny 1/5]

The Silver Bunny disappeared, and the count increased.

"Achoo-!"

Amy once again sneezed.

EunAh extended her hands. "Hey, try to hold yourself together. The only thing left is finding Sumire."

"Yes… You're right. There's a chance Sumire's wandering around through the rain searching for us… No, I'm sure of it!" Saying that to herself, Amy began walking through the rain.

Tap, tap.

At that moment, someone touched her back. EunAh was sure it was Sumire, so she turned around.

"AGH! That surprised me!"

Splash!

What she saw surprised her—it was one of Sumire’s skeletons.

"This is one of Sumire's skeletons!"

EunAh was happy at the thought that they'd be able to meet Sumire. Amy, who was struggling, nodded and pointed to the skeleton. "EunAh! It seems like they're telling us to follow them!"

The skeletons guided them on a long walk until they reached the middle of the island.

"My leg hurts… but what's that?"

"A c-campsite?"

What appeared before EunAh and Amy was a giant tent; on top of that, they could smell the scent of delicious food coming out of it.

"What's going…?"

As Kim EunAh opened the tent's door, Sumire greeted both with a smile.

"EunAh! Amy!"

The Sumire they were seeing was completely different from the one in their imaginations.

"Woah…"

"Woah…"

As EunAh and Amy looked at her with blank expressions, Sumire looked back at them in surprise.

"E-EunAh?! A-Amy?!"

"W-we were struggling in the rain… Trying to catch a bunny… What's this place? Paradise?" EunAh mumbled while making a dumb-founded expression.

"Yes. The bunny was really fast…"

As Amy nodded, Sumire pointed to the cages.

"Ah, don't worry about that! I caught 10, enough for the two of you!"

Just like Sumire said, there was a cage in the corner of the tent with 10 Silver Bunnies.

"You're right. Just how…?"

"Fufu. It's all thanks to me. I used Attraction on the leader."

It seemed like they'd caught the Silver Bunnies thanks to Lilith's Attraction. Sumire smiled kindly at EunAh and Amy with her ladle raised up.

"Today's menu is curry!"

Sumire was stronger than EunAh and Amy had imagined.
