Hunter x Hunter Rise Meteor Street

Chapter 40: Unkind Visitors

A small island country, one summer day two years ago.

"hurry up!"

"Faster!"

"With this speed of drawing the sword, you will all become the dead souls of others."

Sajiro, the senior brother of Tianfeng Gym, was coaching his juniors in training as usual.

He walked past them step by step, his expression solemn.

Sajiro is tall and strong, and has been practicing kendo in the gym for 20 years. What he is most proud of is his sword-drawing technique.

The speed is so fast that anyone who has seen it will be surprised. This is what his master Iwamoto has always asked him to focus on.

Iwamoto, who has practiced kendo all his life, often decides the outcome of a duel in a matter of seconds. Whoever strikes the sword faster has a better chance of winning.

Back then, he defeated countless gyms in the city by relying on his extremely fast sword movements.

So Sajiro practiced hard day and night, drawing his sword 1,000 times a day without stopping, and finally he was able to cut off a bucket without leaking.

Finally, his hard work paid off. He participated in the National Kendo Conference three times and finally got the first place in the third time.

Master Iwamoto was also very pleased and planned to leave the kendo gym to him to take care of in the future.

Suddenly, a doorman ran in from the porch, walked up to Sajiro and whispered:

"Senior Brother, someone is here to kick the gym."

"Did you tell me your name? Which gym you belong to?"

"He said he had no affiliation and just wanted to find someone to have a good time with."

"Are there any such crazy people? Take me to see them."

Sajiro followed the doorman through the hallway and came to the gate of the gym. He couldn't help laughing when he saw it.

I thought the opponent was some kind of master, but it turned out that the person who was going to kick him out was a kid about the same age as the doorman, holding an old samurai sword in his hand.

"My name is Nobunaga, do you have the guts to fight with me?"

Sajiro waved his hand at the door and said, "Kid, this is not a place for you to make mistakes. Go and play."

After saying that, he walked away, walked back to the dojo, and continued to supervise the training of the disciples.

Just as the doorman was about to close the door, he saw that the scabbard of Nobunaga's katana had been inserted in, and the door could not be closed.

When the doorman saw that the other party was about to barge in, he quickly stretched out his hands to push him out.

As a result, the opponent pulled out the knife and pointed the handle of the knife at the doorman's abdomen. It was just a flash, and the knife was quickly sheathed. The doorman responded to the call and started rolling with his belly in his arms.

"Senior Brother, this kid forced his way in!"

When Sajiro, who was demonstrating the sword-drawing technique to his junior brothers, heard this, he couldn't help but feel that this kid was really ridiculous.

He immediately ordered:

"Yamamoto, Yohji, you two go deal with it. The other person is a child. Just take him out and don't hurt him."

"Okay, senior brother."

These two junior brothers are both stout and tall men like him.

The two of them looked at the child walking in the porch, who was really a small child. Yamamoto said jokingly:

"Senior brother is too unreliable. I can just carry him out for you. You can go back."

Yohji felt that what the other party said was reasonable, so he walked back.

He had just walked back a few steps when he heard Yamamoto scream "Ouch!"

He quickly turned his head to look and found Yamamoto holding one foot in both hands, sitting on the ground and exhaling in pain.

When Yohji saw it, he stretched out his hands very angrily, ran to the other party, and was about to grab the child's shoulders and lift him up.

There was a sudden "pop" sound, and Yohji's chin was hit hard by the scabbard. He leaned back, staggered a few steps, and finally fell to the ground and fainted.

When the disciples who were practicing swordplay in the dojo heard the sound of fighting, they swarmed forward. Suddenly, a dark crowd wearing Taoist uniforms surrounded Nobunaga.

Nobunaga moved forward with his sword without changing his expression, his feet sliding forward little by little without leaving the ground.

"Since you have a chance, kid, then fight them. If you can defeat the next 10 people, I will fight you."

While speaking, Sajiro, who was standing outside the crowd, threw a wooden sword to Nobunaga.

As a result, Nobunaga used the scabbard to move forward with a forward lunge, and the thrown wooden sword was knocked aside.

"I don't use a wooden sword, and I don't know how to draw a sword. It's enough to deal with them with a scabbard."

"You little brat, you look down on people so much."

With a bang, a man rushed out of the crowd, holding a wooden sword high and slashing at Nobunaga's head.

Nobunaga stepped back slightly, and thrust the scabbard in his hand towards the opponent's side quickly.

The man knelt on the ground, and the wooden sword hit the ground with too much force and broke the sword body.

Nobunaga moved faster, forcing everyone to attack him quickly one after another.

This group of people began to use their knives quickly at Nobunaga. One person stabbed straight at him, and then another person slashed horizontally to the waist. Someone from behind slashed his neck diagonally, and then someone from the left struck him from bottom to top.

Nobunaga spotted the angle at which each person drew his sword, and hit each opponent's feet, armpits, abdomen, and wrists with the scabbard in a targeted manner.

One minute later, 10 disciples were staggered inside and outside the porch.

The others were about to attack again, but Sajiro stopped them with a yell.

"That's enough, you are no match for him."

He pushed through the crowd, holding a real samurai sword in its sheath, and walked up to Nobunaga with eyes full of fighting spirit and said:

"Nobunaga, huh? My name is Sajiro. You are worthy of my real sword. No matter what the result of the competition is, I want to say that at your age, it is already remarkable to have such a cultivation."

"I know these things myself. If I don't know, use your sword to tell me!"

The two looked at each other in the porch, slowly moving their steps and switching their bodies. In their hands, they held their respective sword handles tightly.

Sweat beads slowly appeared on Nobunaga's forehead, flowing to his eyelids bit by bit, but he still didn't blink.

The onlookers held their breath, waiting to see who would draw the sword first.

Everyone thought that the senior brother's sword-drawing technique was extremely fast and would take the child's life. It was just that he was too ignorant.

But Nobunaga himself knew that he had fought all the way from Meteor Street to here, and every move was realized by himself in the actual life-and-death moment.

A breeze blew, and the wind chimes under the eaves jingled and made a crisp sound.

In the quiet hallway, there was a sudden sound of ping, ping, bang, bang, the sound of metal hitting each other when the blades hit each other.

A second passed, and Nobunaga and Sajiro had fought for six rounds.

The two men drew their swords so quickly that others could only hear the sound but could not see the shadow of the sword.

"Tenfeng Ittoryu, it's really fast. I lost."

Nobunaga put away his sword and said, then stood up and covered his lower abdomen with his hands to prevent his intestines from flowing out.

He endured the huge pain and walked out of the dojo step by step.

"Thank you, I won't see you off."

Sajiro smiled slightly, stood there, and watched him walk away until the door closed.

Sajiro suddenly leaned on the handle of the sword with both hands, and fell to his knees.

Master Iwamoto, who was still resting, rushed to the front of the dojo and saw that the back of Sajiro's uniform had turned red, and deep red blood was gushing out of a long slanted crack.

"Someone come quickly, help the senior brother in."

"Master, I'm ashamed of you, this kid is a swordsmanship genius."
