Husband Doting Wife: Emperor Gu's Shameless Perfect Bride

Chapter 232 - She Did Not Have Any Children...Scientifically, His Eyes Are Almost On Par With A Micr

"Vanished?" Hannah asked more confused.

"Yes. she just vanished into the water and that is why we cant find her."

Bolin and Yusheng too were yet to get what she was saying.

"Miss Long...are you saying Big sister in law just disappeared like that? Like poof! As in cartoons poof?"

Lifen nodded her head.

"Little Fern that doesnt make sense." Yusheng commented and Bolin agreed with him by nodding his head.

Lifen turned back and punched Yusheng in the shoulder earning a painful groan from the other. "Dont call me that. And I am serious. Mr Gu here knows what I am talking about."

All eyes turned to Gu Bojing whose headache was turning worse by the second. "Can you move now?"

Hannah remained stubborn. "Not until you tell me what she means by my sister vanished. How can someone just vanish like cartoon poof!" She glared at Bolin who made that stupid example and caused her to say it. "Its not feasible."

Yusheng rubbed his shoulder and smirked. "I think we should be using that."

"Idiot. I did a bit of chemistry too."

He shut his mouth and continued to nurse his emotional wound.

Lifen explained further before Bolin could ask anymore questions. "What I mean is...according to my hypothesis..." this caused Hannah to roll her eyes.

"I don't know what that means."

Bolin added. "Neither do I."

"I mean according to my suspicions which can be either real or unreal..." she emphasized mocking their lack of knowledge. "I think Xiao Ai is stuck somewhere. Like she has vanished to some other place. Or..." she stared at Gu Bojing who was also staring at her. "World."

Hannah moved away from Gu Bojings car but still used her leg to block the door. "Okay...are you sure you are mentally okay?"

Lifen placed her hand on her waist and Yusheng quickly placed a hand on her shoulder. "I am a Psychiatrist..." she pointed at her lab coat and the department on it. "What do you think?"

"Because what you are saying makes no sense." She turned to Bolin for support but saw that his expression was different. As if he finally got what she was talking about. "You...do you guys know anything?"

Bolin then asked..."You mean..like that time? That time..."

Hannah was getting angry now. "What time are you guys talking about?! Can somebody explain?"

Yusheng broke the ice. "You wont get it totally but something extraordinary has been happening around recently. Or maybe for a long time. Just know....we all here might have traveled to the past before."

Hannah's jaw was almost mopping the floor before she broke into laughter. "That's...lemme guess...science is mentally affecting your memories?"

"Its true." came the hoarse voice of Gu Bojing. "The past I went...she was killed with her unborn child."

Everyone was shocked but Lifens reaction was more than shocked. As if electricity shot through her, she jumped a bit and Yusheng held her in place. Hands over her mouth she gasped.

"You..mean...In the past...she did not have any children?"

"I can not be totally sure of that....and..." he paused and opened the door to his car. This time Hannah let him do it. "that hypothesis is wrong. She didnt exactly vanish. She was winded away."

Bolin curved his mouth, recovering from the shock. "What English is that?"

"She isnt in the water, she was taken away by the wind."

Everyone:"..." we dont get.

He brought out his phone and opened the footage. He forward it to the time when Xiao Ai dipped her hand in her oven and then paused it. He reached into his car and brought out his laptop. He then connected his phone to the laptop.

"Watch..." he replayed the footage now in a very slow motion and paused when Xiao Ai dipped her hand in water. "Look at her expression."

They all stared at the footage and saw that Xiao Ai had a shocked expression. He played it and then pause it. The next second she had a fearful expression. When he played it again, her hand was dusted and raised in air as if she wanted to hit something and her mouth was squeezed together like someone was restricting her from talking with their hands.

Gu Bojing replayed the footage and after less than a second, he paused it again. But this time, Xiao Ai was no longer there.

"She is gone!" Hannah exclaimed, still surprised at the whole issue.

Yusheng felt quiet dumb at the moment and asked. "You saw all this when they played it the other time? It looked absolutely normal then."

Bolin replied him. "Brothers vision is like that of an eagle. Scientifically his eyes are almost on par with a microscope. Why do you think they are golden brown?"

Yusheng stared into Gu Bojings eyes and the latter snarled at him.

"So she was grabbed away by the wind?" Lifen asked trying to understand the concept of what was happening.

"Maybe." He replied. And enlarged the picture before circling an area with his pen. He pressed some keys and then enlarged it again. He entered a code and the picture became clearer.

"Oh my God..." Hannah exclaimed.

In the clear and enlarged picture, Xiao Ai was being carried away by the wind across the bridge. It was faint and normal people wouldn't see it because the wind moved too fast and so Xiao Ais body became blurred and blended with the color of the atmosphere. Her legs looked like they were being thrown around showing her signs of resistance.

"Where could she be?" Lifen asked.

"I think the right question is...what is that thing?" Gu Bojing asked and pointed his pen at a point circled it and pressed a code again.

In this one, a blurry shape could be seen that looked like that of a scythe. And there were tiny dots that surrounded the scythe as well. There was a triangular, circular and squared shape. Which looked like it was in the form of a head.

Lifen stared closely at the picture again and her heart skipped a beat.

Could it be...it cant be...

That thing....?
