Shen Man followed Lin Man back to her place.

“Why in the world are you following me? Your room is that way.” Lin Shu said with a bit of annoyance, as she pointed to the room on the right with her chin.

Shen Man chuckled and reached out a hand to force her to the wall. Trapping Lin Shu in her arms, she leaned forward and said in a low voice, ”I just wanted to send you to your room first.”

“I don’t need you to send me,” Lin Shu loudly refused, her pale face turning red from anger, ”Move, I want to go back to my room.”

Shen Man smiled harder and lowered her head so that their lips were almost touching.

Lin Shu found her heart uncontrollably beating faster and her eyes rounded. They stared at each other a few moments until she turned away first.

After a while, Lin Shu angrily turned her head back and returned the stare to Shen Man, not to be outdone.

Shen Man let out her breath and smiled with interest. She released Lin Shu with a, ”Okay then, have a good rest.”

“Mind your own business,” Lin Shu replied with a humph. With her head held high, she stomped away in her little white slippers.

Shen Man laughed softly and opened the door to her supposed room.
The layout was simple, with a big bed, a dressing table, a closet, and a small coffee table.

It was completely in line with her tastes.

Shen Man walked around the room and found a few books on a table. They were all related to the field of design.

She casually flipped a few pages and felt her head hurt.

Her college major was in management and her ability in design is average, so she could never be as good as how the heroine was described.

However, she could always learn.
With her ability, even if she isn’t the best, it wouldn’t be far from it.

Shen Man put down the book and sat in front of the dressing table. On it we’re a set of affordable skincare products and some simple makeup.
Hung near the closet was a school bag and inside was a school ID, regular ID, and a Hukou household registration.

Shen Man flipped opened the Hukou.
On it was only her name and information, which meant that she is an orphan.

Shen Man carefully wrote down the situation of her new identity.
She put the Hukou back and opened her phone to check the contacts.
It contained numerous phone numbers, including the ones of the male lead and second male lead.

Shen Man’s heart leapt when she glanced over a contact named “Aunt”.
She wrote down the number and went to Wechat to search it up. She quickly found the chat history with this “Aunt”.

She quickly skimmed the chat to find that the last conversation was from the end of last month.
That meant Aunt did not know that the original heroine moved in with Lin Shu.

With this information, Shen Man figured out her situation.
She does not know why she travelled into the body of a person with the same name, nor where the original owner of this body went.
But one thing is for sure— she wants to live well.

Footsteps came from outside.
Shen Man opened the door and looked down the hallway.

A middle aged woman is currently putting away her shoes.
She was a bit plump, with a baggy shirt and groceries in hand.
From her appearance, she seems to be Lin Shu’s nanny.

The woman looked back and spotted Shen Man. She smiled and explained, “Manman, my daughter is sick so I need two days off to take care of her. I’ve already told Mr. Lin about this.”

The woman was very polite and her eyes were filled with apology, “I’ll make lunch before leaving and will come back tomorrow afternoon. During these two days I’m away, I’ll have to trouble you to eat takeout. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.”

“That’s fine, if it’s urgent you can quickly go.” Shen Man replied with a smile while taking a glance towards Lin Shu’s room. “Yesterday, we all celebrated the whole night at someone’s birthday party. Shushu is still sleeping and probably won’t wake up until the evening.”
　
“Then I’ll make some food and keep it warm so you two can eat when you’re hungry,” The woman said as she carried the groceries to the kitchen.

Shen Man followed and while leaning on the door frame, she told her, “You should go check on your daughter first. I know how to cook a little, so when Shushu is awake, I’ll make something for her.”

“How can I let you do this?” the woman put down the dishes with serious eyes.
“Come on, just go” Shen Man coaxed.

The woman paused for a moment before finally agreeing. She said with gratitude, “Thank you so much, I’ll leave first. If you’re not sure about how to use any of the appliances, you can call me.”

“Okay” replied Shen Man.

The woman put the groceries in the fridge before changing her shoes and leaving.
Shen Man watched the door close, then returned to her room.
Her body still aches from her drunken state yesterday. Along with the intense exercise last night, she felt really tired and sleepy now that she’s loosened up.

When Shen Man woke up after a nice nap, it was already 4.

Sunlight peeked through the window, basking the dressing table in a warm, golden glow. It was as if she was in a dream, and she felt out of touch from reality.

After lying in bed for a while, Shen Man’s head gradually cleared up.
She got up from bed and planned to make dinner.　

As soon as Shen Man opened the door, she was face-to-face with a particularly angry, but still delicate looking girl.
She raised the corners of her lips, “Shushu, what’s wrong?”

“Quickly get ready and make dinner, I’m about to starve to death,” Lin Shu replied angrily, “If you don’t cook as well as Auntie He, I will kick you out of my house.”

“I want meat.” Lin Shu said loudly as she laid there watching tv.

Shen Man grabbed some potatoes, tomatoes, leafy greens, and some meat. She then closed the refrigerator and started to prepare.
She learned how to cook at a very young age and after she became rich, she hired people to teach her for a few months. Those teachers’ skills were not any worse than certified chefs.

Shen Man first washed the vegetables and meat, then chopped up some ginger, garlic, and chili.
After marinating the meat and letting it sit, she went to cook some rice.

When Lin Shu heard the sounds, she closed the tv and headed towards the kitchen.
She was like a supervisor, observing Shen Man’s work from the sidelines.
Lin Shu watched her slender, white hands picking up the intimidating knife and quickly slice the potatoes into thin slices, then shreds.

She couldn’t even see how she did it so nicely.
The potatoes were all turned into neat shreds in an instant and in the afterglow of the sun, they had a slight transparency.

As she was captivated, Shen Man had already finished her work, leaving her with eyes full of surprise.
“How many points can my performance score? Eldest miss.” Shen Man joked, adding the title for fun.

Lin Shu, who had been caught red handed, turned her head to the side and arrogantly answered, “It’s just average.”
After that, she walked out with a raised chin.

Shen Man laughed while she turned on the stove in preparation to stir fry some vegetables.
Aunt He bought Tabasco pepper, bell peppers, and red peppers, so this meant Lin Shu can definitely handle spicy food.

In 20 minutes, Shen Man finished three dishes and a soup.
She added a good amount of chili in the pepper steak stir fry and stir fried potato shreds for maximum flavor.
The leafy greens were also stir fried and the tomato egg drop soup was simmered.

Shen Man placed these dishes on the dining table and went back to get the bowls of rice.
Smelling the food, Lin Shu quickly got up to eat. Looking at the dishes, her stomach couldn’t help grumbling.
She swallowed her saliva and quickly went to wash her hands before sitting down.

Shen Man brought out two bowls of rice and placed one in front of Lin Shu with a chuckle, “Eldest miss, please try my cooking.”
With a mhm, Lin Shu pick up her chopsticks and slowly grabbed a piece of meat. After swallowing, she reluctantly said, “It’s okay.”　

Shen Man just laughed and didn’t comment about her trying to hide the fact that she really liked it.

The two ate dinner together.
Although Lin Shu has a bad temper, she was still a wealthy heiress and had excellent dining etiquette. She chewed slowly and did not make any unnecessary sounds.
Shen Man occasionally glanced at her beautiful face filled with arrogance and couldn’t help gently laughing.

This villainess is indeed very attractive, but she just wouldn’t stop offending people with her mouth.

In under 24 hours, Lin Shu threatened her three times.

Lin Shu kept eating the stir fried beef and shredded potatoes until her eyes were red from the spice, but she still didn’t stop.

“You’re still growing and these are good for your development.” Shen Man replied and looked at Lin Shu’s breasts while raising her eyebrow meaningfully.

Lin Shu covered her chest and stared at Shen Man vigilantly.
Shen Man smiled and looked away, continuing to eat as if nothing had happened.

Lin Shu watched her for a few seconds and returned the green vegetable to Shen Man “I don’t want this.”
“You’re shorter than me” Shen Man said nonchalantly. She returned the vegetable to Lin Shu.
Lin Shu was hit on her weak spot and wanted to angrily refute, but she could only think of “At least I’m lighter than you.”

“Yeah, you’re light,” Shen Man laughed, moving her gaze back towards Lin Shu’s chest, “But it’d be great if if you can grow some more meat there.”

“Mind your own business, big breasts no brain.” Lin Shu humphed.
Shen Man was speechless

‘Big breasts No brain’ is a really suitable phrase to describe the original heroine.
When Shen Man heard about Lin Shu’s schemes from her company’s employees, she thought they were really low-level.

She would never fall victim to them.
Only the stubborn, stupid heroine would.

Lin Shu angrily started to eat the vegetables with a frown.
When she took a bite, she found it crisp and tender. Much to her surprise, it tasted a lot better than she’d thought it would.
Lin Shu couldn’t help reaching out for more.

The two ate everything cleanly off the plates.
Shen Man got up to put the dirty dishes away.
Meanwhile, Lin Shu returned to her sofa to continue watching tv.

After washing the dishes, Shen Man headed towards her room.
Lin Shu opened her mouth to stop her. Still propping her head up with her arm and looking at the tv screen, she ordered, “I want to eat fruit, go cut some for me.”
This attitude, she is as arrogant as ever.

Shen Man chuckled and as she opened the fridge, she asked, “What type of fruit do you want?”
“What’s there?” Lin Shu was using a remote control and didn’t even look up.
“There’s apples, bananas, dragon fruit, and peaches.” Shen Man replied.
“Get a bit of everything and make me a fruit platter.” Lin Shu said in a lazy voice.

Shen Man brought the fruits to the kitchen counter so she can wash, peel, and cut them. She placed the fruits neatly onto a platter.
Then, she decided to cut the red dragon fruit into a heart shape and also rearranged the other fruits into a big heart.

Shen Man took the finished fruit platter and placed it on the coffee table.
Then, she sat on the sofa and used a toothpick to pick up a piece of dragon fruit.

Lin Shu had felt the sofa sink a little so she turned her head to find Shen Man sitting next to her feet.
She subconsciously frowned and said, “Just leave it here.”
“How could I do that?” Shen Man smiled and leaned in, “I have to personally feed the eldest miss.”

Feeling a sense of danger, Lin Shu scooted back.
But Shen Man kept coming closer, pressing her to the sofa. She lifted Lin Shu’s chin with two fingers and warmly said, “I put my heart into preparing this platter, I hope the eldest miss likes it.”

“I’ll do it myself” Lin Shu hurriedly said. She turned her head and squeezed her lips into a tight line.　　
“You really don’t need my help?” Shen Man laughed.
“I don’t…” Lin Shu shook her head like a rattle.

Shen Man let her go and sat back in her spot. She ate the piece of dragon fruit and licked her lips, “Ok then, remember to wash the dishes after eating.”

Lin Shu nodded slowly.

After that, Shen Man got up and left.
Finally alone, Lin Shu let out a sigh.
Then, she realized— this is her home so why should she be afraid of Shen Man?

As she ate, Lin Shu became more and more uncomfortable.
She stared at Shen Man’s room and in her head, she thought of ways to drive this annoying woman out of her house.
