After her bath, Sara was standing there with only a bath towel wrapped around her.

”Hey, what are you wearing …?”

“Huh? We’re brother and sister, so it should be fine like this, right?”

”Well … well, if it’s fine with you, then fine. Anyway, get dressed as soon as possible. You’ll catch a cold.”

“Hai!”

Sara nodded with a smile and went upstairs to her room.

“Please take a bath, Nii-San. Soak yourself in my leftover water~~”

Sara said with a mischievous smile on her face.

“D-Don’t talk like that.”

“Mmmm~, Nii-San, you’re cute.”

“Don’t make fun of your brother!”

“Hai.”

Sara went into her room.

“Well, I guess I’ll take a bath, too.”

I muttered, and stood up.

After grabbed my pajamas, T-shirt, jersey and bath towel, I undressed in the changing room and entered the bath.

“Well, it’s been a long day.”

I soaked myself in the tub and looked at the ceiling.

“Ever since Sara came, every day has been fun.”

My life changed a lot ever since Sara came to my house as my younger sister.

I took a long soak in the bath, rinsed my hair, and washed my body.

After I finished washing up, I got out of the bath.

With a bath towel, I wiped myself dry and put on my pants and picked up my jersey t-shirt.

I continued to wipe my hair as I headed for the living room.

“Oh, there you are, Sara.”

“Ni-i, Nii-San!?”

“Hmm? What’s wrong?”

“You’ve got a nice body. …”

Sara had her gaze fixed on my upper body.

“Oh, I’m sorry. It’s just a habit. I should get dressed too.”

“No, no. Nii-San, you’ve been working out hard.”

“Yeah, I want to protect myself, and now that I have one more person to protect, I shouldn’t stop working out.”

In addition to my calligraphy, I attended an Aikido dojo several times a month.

“Who is this person you’re protecting?”

“Of course it’s concerning Sara. If I can’t protect my only sister, I don’t think I qualify as a good brother. I’ve started attending the aikido dojo again.”

“Protect …”

Sara turned around as her cheeks turned crimson.

“What’s wrong? Your face is turning red.”

“I-I’m F-Fine. I want to attend Aikido too. …”

“Soka. Well, let’s go together sometime. I’m sure it’ll be good for you to learn self-defense.”

“Hai!”

Sara nodded with a smile.

“Do you want something to drink too, Sara?”

I put on the  T-shirt and headed for the fridge.

”Umm~, I’ll have some orange juice, please.”

 “Okay.”

I took out a carton of milk and orange juice for Sara.

I poured them into glasses and placed them on the desk in the living room.

“Here, orange juice.”

“Thank you. Sorry for troubling you.”

“We’re brother and sister, so you don’t have to worry about it.”

I also took a seat on the living room sofa.

“By the way, what time does Sara usually go to bed?”

“On days when I have school, I try to go to bed before midnight.”

It was around 23:00 at this time.

“Oh, great.”

“What about you, Nii-san?”

“I’ll be up till 1:00 a.m. or so. I’ve got a lot of work to do.”

“You’re a gifted calligrapher, aren’t you?”

“Am I that famous?”

“Yes, I think so.”

It was at this point I realized that I was becoming rather well-known.

“Well then, I’d better get to bed.”

“Yeah, It’s almost midnight.”

“Yeah, It is.”

I put the glasses away.

“Good night Sara.”

“Yeah, good night Nii-San.”

We each went back to our room and got into bed.
