The train arrived and we boarded.

It would take about 30 minutes from here, including changing trains.

“When you think of Asakusa, you think of Kaminarimon!1“

“Yes, that’s right. It’s famous.”

The Kaminarimon was probably the most popular tourist spot in Asakusa.

“It will be my first time there, so I’m looking forward to it!”

Well, if you were to ask me if an average high school girl would go to Asakusa, I would say not really.

If I wasn’t working as a calligrapher, I probably wouldn’t have had the chance to go either.

While we were chatting about trivial things, we arrived at the station where we had to switch trains.

“Oh, we’re changing trains here.”

“Hai!”

Me and Sara got off the train and walked to the platform for the transfer.

It was a bit of a walk to get there, but that was the problem with going to Asakusa.

Well, that didn’t bother me as long as I walked with Sara.

“Ah~, the train just left.”

“Well, why don’t we take it easy then?”

“Yeah.”

The train departed right in front of us, but I guess I could relax because it was just me and Sara.

We waited for about five minutes and then boarded the train to Asakusa.

The great thing about Tokyo was that a train would come every few minutes.

“Next.”

“Oh, yes.”

The train announced,

“We’re getting off.”

" "

“Hai!”

We got up from our seats and got off the train just as the doors opened.

“It’s pretty crowded, isn’t it?”

“Yeah, it’s a holiday.”

When we went up from the basement to the ground level, it was relatively crowded.

“All right, let’s eat first.”

“Right!”

Sara nodded as if she had been waiting for me.

What’s with this cute little creature?

If Sara had a boyfriend, I’d be so worried I wouldn’t be able to sleep.

Fortunately, and I didn’t know if it was appropriate for me to say, but Sara didn’t have a boyfriend.

“This way.”

" "

Saying that, I took Sara’s hand.

“He~!?”

Sara’s face was blushing from being held in my hand.

“Look, there’s a lot of people here. We don’t want to get lost.”

“H-hai, that’s right. It will be… bad if we get lost.”

While holding hands with Sara, I headed to the restaurant I wanted to go to.

In fact, I had made a reservation in advance.

“We are here.”

I let go of Sara’s hand as we reached the front of the restaurant.

At that time, Sara’s expression was somewhat sad, but I didn’t notice.

“Here?”

“Yes, it’s a Monjayaki2 restaurant. Is this okay?”

“Yes, yes! I like Monjayaki.”

“That’s good to know.”

We entered the restaurant.

“Welcome! Are there two of you?”

“I am Tojo, the person who made the reservation.”

I told him the name by which I had used to make the reservation.

“You must be Tojo-sama. I’ve been waiting for you. This way, please.”

The two of us were ushered into the seat that had been marked as reserved.
