I Became A System

Chapter 163 - Selena And Rosellete's Side.

Outside the cave, Selena was cautiously passing through trees, hiding and peeking through every bush to find some bandits. When she finally saw one, she took out a dagger from her pocket and secretly threw it.

It was a clean hit in the nape, and she killed one quietly, just as she had planned.

A hint of a gleam shone on her face, and just as her blood boiled in excitement, she moved to find the next target.

"Where was that bastard? Why isn't he going back? He said that he'd piss and come back immediately."

Selena went into alarm mode immediately as she heard some voices from a distance. She immediately stopped her movements and looked in the direction of the person who talked.

The bandit still didn't notice her. Therefore, it gave her an advantage since she could see everything from the distance she was at.

She can see the back of the bandit, which also means that it's a wide opening.

She smiled again and moved slowly as the bandit approached the corpse of her first target.

"What the..."

The bandit finally noticed and just before he could alarm everyone, she dashed to him and quickly thrust her sword toward the heart of the bandit.

A clean hit again. And when she pulled it, a splatter of blood came onto her clothes.

Her nose crinkled in disgust, but she didn't seem bothered by the blood. Instead, she continued moving stealthily.

"There's a trespasser! Someone infiltrated!"

Selena's eyes turned wide and she remained frozen in her position.

'Did I get discovered?' she thought, and as she observed the surroundings, weirdly, the bandits were going to a different location where Rosellete was.

She finally realized that it wasn't her who was discovered but Rosellete.

She slapped her forehead and stealthily followed them. Since she isn't strong as Ellena and Rosellete, she can only depend on being swift and silent. If she fights head-on, she'll never have a chance to defeat her enemies.

'Rosellete is really strong. She didn't even bother being silent.'

And as she was getting irritated slightly, she brushed off the idea and focused on the plan.

"Fuck! This is a monster! Where did this fuck come from?!"

"Hey, bitch! Fight us without relying on your rune!"

"Fucking shit! Escape! This is a monster."

The yells reached Selena's ears. And as she heard it clearly, an idea just popped into her mind.

'Then... I'll kill all who want to escape.' she thought.

When the bandits started going back from different directions, she positioned herself in one of the bushes. When one of the bandits finally came near, she swiftly targeted their necks and dissipated them quickly.

The turmoil was beneficial for her. Since they were already letting their guards down, she could easily kill them.

After a few killings, the wave finally stopped and she revealed herself from hiding. Her body was covered with splattered blood from the targets she slashed.

"This is gruesome," she mumbled and wiped her body with a cloth.

"What the fuck!"

Selena was surprised by the shout that came from Rosellete. Apparently, Rosellete was now in front of her and her shout was just too loud that she almost broke her eardrums.

"Why are you shouting?" Selena retorted.

"Because I was surprised! You're like a walking Blooded Formed Slime!"

"I don't look like that. And don't compare me with monsters. Instead, can you help me with wiping my body? I can't reach my back."

Rosellete sighed and took the cloth from Selena. She wiped her back with it and Selena thanked her for it. When Selena finally had her body almost clean from blood, she started talking.

"By the way, do you think Ellena is okay?"

"Why are you even asking that? Are you doubting her abilities?"

Selena shook her head.

"Of course not. But I am just worried since she's with Thalia. I can't believe that she thought of also teaching her along the way." Selena said.

"Well, Master had some crazy ideas. I agree with them. But, she's crazily strong, you know. And if I could just observe her movements again, I would be grateful." Rosellete replied with a smile on her face as if being blessed by heaven.

"Then how about we follow them? The bandits here are almost done. We can't have a fight with the dead."

"Right... let's go follow, Master!"

Selena also nodded with excitement and put her sword back in her scabbard.

They started moving again and went straight to the cave's location. And as they entered the cave, slowly, they noticed the corpses inside were gravely damaged and as if not coming from Ellena's style.

"What the... what happened here?" Rosellete said her worries started to emerge.

"These are monster tracks. And also, the injuries they took were also from a monster."

When they finally patched up the signs, both of them looked at each other with agitated expressions.

"Then, Master!"

"Ellena is!"

Both of them were now nervous and ran towards the depths of the cave.

"She's in danger!" both of them said in a panic.

They passed through corpses with the same patterns of attacks. The three marks just tell them that it was really from a monster. And even if they missed it in the beginning, now they are sure that there was a monster.

They rushed and, with heavy pants in between their breaths, they stopped at one dead end and noticed that there was a dimmed, barred room at the end.

"Master!"

"Ellena!"

They only saw one corpse and just as they still had the energy to continue, they bravely pushed the bars and saw behind it.

They saw Ellena, but she wasn't injured nor threatened by a monster. Instead, it looked like they were close to each other as Ellena was nonchalantly moving beside it.

Their eyes also caught the number of people inside the room. They were all shackled and wearing chokers.

"Slaves..." both of them mumbled.

"Sisters!" Thalia abruptly called them as she noticed them entering the room.

"Oh... you're all here. Can you help me with the unlocking?"
