I Became A System

It was just the silence that covered the whole room. Even the cicadas and crickets sounds echoed through the surroundings.

Staring, the furious head slowly wore his clothes, covering the bottom half of his body.

"So, who sent you?" Finally, the head Masagach talked.

"No one. I sent myself here. I have some business with you." Ellena said in a tone of threatening to be inconspicuous.

The head pushed the lady out of the room then took out something from his drawer.

"I assume that you are not an assassin. Perhaps, a normal burglar... No, you have a talent to get in without being noticed."

Despite Ellena's face being covered with black cloth, I can still see her expression. And her expression right now is intense. 

Ellena's eyebrows are nearly to be stick on each other. Hah... Why did I even get surprised by this child?

She knows what is **** but she didn't know what is s##. Just the definition, assaulting women, I expect that she understood it as a physical assault.

There are really still things that Ellena has to learn. And one of those is sensitive things that I don't know how to introduce.

"Who was that?" Ellena started interrogating again.

"Why would I tell you?"

Because of the fearless tone of the head, Ellena being uncontrolled, produced a bolt of lightning and shot it to the head's thighs.

A flash of light flew from Ellena's fingers then it touched the thighs. Getting hit by the lightning, the head's eyes turned upside down, screaming in agony.

"Ahhh!!!" He found everything painful. He loses his balance, still squealing, he finally loses his voice.

"Wh...at have... you done... to me?..." 

The sound of the head is really unusual. Our previous victims don't scream this loud since I recommended Ellena to limit the joules since it is dangerous to accidentally kill them.

However, this is a really strange reaction!

"Ellena, what did you do?" I hysterically asked.

"Nothing. Just produced stronger shocks than usual."

Ellena said that in a loud voice. Is she perhaps answering both of us? But Ellena is not like this...

Her eyes... are clearly saying that I should not bother her...

"Now..." Ellena slowly took her step. "What should I do with you?"

Ellena's voice is halting. Not because of tiredness, or pain, it was to sound more intimidating.

The head slightly moved backward, supported by his arms, getting away from Ellena.

"What do you really need? I can give it to you. This! It's a bag of gold. Take it! If you want money I can give more!"

I felt Ellena making a delighted smile. Is she perhaps enjoying this?

"What are you going to do?" I asked once again.

'Nothing. I'll just have him pay for what his son did.'

"What? Are you crazy?! Just do what we planned and get out immediately! We can't let someone catch you!"

'Don't worry. I still have plenty of stamina. I can manage this.'

Ellena... what's with you today?

She's making an unusual attitude. She clearly moves like a criminal right now. I mean, they didn't do something unfathomable.

Fear points started emerging again. The head was noticeably producing grains of sweat on his forehead.

The head made a doubtful face before speaking. "A-are you sure it's all about that?"

Ellena nods. "Yes. If I notice that you will venture your anger to the debtors. I will surely come back here."

But after Ellena said that. Loud noises started coming from outside. 

I reflexively peeked a little outside then saw guards with the brother bastards rushing towards the room of the head.

After hearing that, the head's face started to form in a smug. He was obviously feeling wisenheimer.

"Hahaha. Don't worry. You're not going back here because this is your end!"

The right hand of the head glowed then he acted swinging his hands towards Ellena. Just a second after that, sands started to attack Ellena's vision.

Ellena covered her eyes as a reflex. She suffered for almost seconds after adjusting her eyes.

While I noticed the head crawling his way out of the room.

"Ellena, they are here."

'Sorry. I didn't listen to you.'

"No, it's okay. Just make sure to not do it again."

Fortunately, Ellena wasn't puffed in her eyes. If that happened, the worst could occur.

Should she run away from the room? But as I can observe, there's no way she could outrun them.

Then, her only way of fleeing is to fight them head-on. We still don't know their abilities. There may be debuffing abilities we don't know.

Then, to finish this quickly...

"Ellena, I recommend you to use [Pressure Aura] it will help you to tire them out."

'Yes, but the stamina usage.'

"Don't worry, you can make your way. I believe in you."

After saying that, Ellena just nod then pursue her path in the sandy room. 

The head was still crawling but Ellena disregarded him then continued to pass the door.

Out of the door, there are guards in a number of 8 and the two brother bastards. It makes the enemies 10. There's no way we can stay longer here. We just have to fix this later on.

Ellena activated her ability [Pressure Aura]. It made the enemies weaken their runes and their potentials.

As they get surprised when their light gets weaker, Ellena followed another ability, she activated both abilities, [Stealth] and [Lightning Manipulation], making a way past the enemies as they get knocked down one by one.

They were paralyzed but Ellena didn't pay heed anymore. She just continued making her way out of the mansion.

I observed them, they were all perplexed and surprised how a mage rune owner like her had the ability to constantly use magic.

They were also confused why they could not do anything more powerful than their normal abilities.

It was a good move from Ellena, she knew that the two abilities she used were physical aptitudes, making it unnoticeable when activated. And magic was the only discovered that ability she has, so they concluded that she was a mage rune owner.

Finally, Ellena successfully got out of the premises. She constantly searched for air, then she removed her cover to her mouth.

Gasping for more air, she leaned on the wall as she slowly walks in the direction of the inn.

"Ellena, just take a rest. You don't have to worry."

Although this is tiring, we have no choice but for her to sleep longer. If this will be based on universal time, it must be 10 PM.

'Sorry, I let my anger decide what I should do again.'

Yes, she was right. There are really times that she gets eaten by her emotions. But I also see it as her asset, not just her disadvantage.

She decides when or how will the target will feel. That's the pros there. 

But the only cons is that she gets simple. That's it, as I said, simple. Her pros unconsciously activate but her consciousness is clearly based on her emotions.

"Don't worry. The next thing we will practice is to control your emotion." I said.

'I'm really sorry. By the way, how many points did we got?'

"From the headmaster, it was only one but from the lady and the head Masagach, it was 17."

'That big? Can I exchange another useful ability?'

She can get another ability, it may be offensive or not. But the only thing is her stamina. She can't juggle those abilities constantly if her stamina is not that great.

But her proficiency is great. It would be great, but we can't use points prior to when we need it most. There may be formidable enemies that will be hard to defeat.

"I think we should not use it right now. We don't know what will happen in the future. I recommend you to save points for the meantime."

After that, she continued walking to the inn. While on the way, I started talking about the... s##

"Do you know what they are doing?"

Seems like Ellena really doesn't know it. Perhaps I should not be pushing it to her.

The walk stayed silent for a minute. Then just when we get near the inn. I hovered through the walls once again.

Ellena stealthily walked through the line of rooms in the corridor. We passed the room of Amber and I just pass through the walls as usual. But, Amber wasn't there.

Did she also get out? In this late at night? Well, I didn't notice someone following us so it's impossible that she followed Ellena.

Well, never mind. We got near our room so I just get in first but I was stunned when I saw who was inside.

Amber was inside our room!

"Wait, Ellena! Amber is inside our room." I rushedly reported. And as expected, she was also surprised.

'What? Why? Wait, my clothes are clearly not usual. Should I change first?'

I pass through the walls once again and saw Amber sitting on the bed of Ellena. Isabella, on the other hand, was obviously worried and nervous.

Did Amber interrogate her? Perhaps she used her rune again. 

My goodness... Ellena is really busted. We don't have any choice just to face her but still, we need to avoid saying the real truth.

"There's no other choice. Just get inside and don't tell her the whole truth to dodge her ability."

'Okay...'

Creeking sound echoed as Ellena opened the door. And then, her eyes were greeted by Amber's crossed arms.

"So, where did this Big Sister Ellena went in the late night?"

'What should I say?'

"Just say the half-truth. I know you can answer it."

I won't be suggesting any words she has to say since this could also work as her practice.

"Just walked when I was gasping."

I observed Amber's rune and it glowed a little.

From Amber's expression, it seems that she did not flinch. It may be a sign that she saw Ellena's words as truth. Good.

"Then... who is this Aaron? You went out with him?"

What?!

Unconsciously, Ellena gave Isabella a gaze.

"Sorry... Big Sister..."

So Amber knows me now. Then which part did she knew about me? Was it about everything?

"Why do you care?"

"Well, it's because I was just worried about you."

"Worry?"

Yeah. As Ellena is already confused right now. I am also confused. Just where will this conversation go?

"Did you noticed it too?" I asked.

'Did she think that you were a human?'

"Yeah. Just play with her."

Ellena sighed before talking to her once again.

"Why do you care? Get out!"

"Why? I wanna meet him too! Were you meeting him every night? Can I come too?"

Well... this would be troublesome. We can't go to the next mission because of this.. But at least, Ellena's rune won't get discovered.
