I Became A System

Everyone was surprised by Diana's sudden appearance. The guards who were outside, was just silent for the whole time as if they knew they shouldn't get in between the girls.

Ellena widens her eyes at the moment she saw Diana. She can't believe that Diana is here, away from the mansion they come from.

She suddenly overthinks that this thing may result in some mess. Despite her confidence in fixing it, Aaron suggested she be careful in every situation they make.

Amber at the back was also perplexed, wondering how to handle the situation, she steps forward to ask Diana.

"Diana, what are you doing here? Uncle Albert would be furious if he discovers this!" She said in a tone of uneasiness.

However, the situation right now seems to be warming, or a little delightful for the blood-related girls, Isabella at the back was worried that she may not be useful enough for them.

Isabella was overthinking that she may get out of place since she's the only one who's not blood-related among the girls. Thinking of what will happen, she just sat in the bed while trying to listen to them.

"Don't worry, they won't discover my disappearance, not at least tomorrow." She answered the question, Amber.

Amber, doubting Diana's reckless decision just surrendered with a sigh. "Okay, come get in." She remarked.

After they got in. Ellena couldn't help herself anymore, she finally released her questions, pushing Diana to the corner of her consciousness.

"Why did you follow us? We were thinking of making the situation light, then fight for your custody. You must at least do what Grandma told, study, and now, what are you going to do with the mess?"

At first, Diana was surprised at Ellena's words. She can't believe that Ellena would say it to her, but when she patched up everything, she concluded that Ellena's way and her were different.

"I'm sorry. But I can't stay there. I'm going to get engaged in some noble to strengthen my father's background and connection. He's eager to outshine the main family. He's crazy."

After hearing it, Ellena and Amber were surprised. They understood Diana's words they finally understood Diana's decision.

Amber, being the brain and only the one informative in the group, thought of another plan she must present to their grandmother. If Diana's presence is added to the group, then, she must present that Diana should be protected for the sake of the third generation group.

"Engaged? You mean, you'll get married?"

"Not really. It's still engagement, we must at least reach the right age to marry each other. But, don't mind it! It's not even going to happen, now that I decided to join you guys. I hope you understand my decision." Diana said in an apologetic tone.

"It's okay," Amber remarked as she opened up what's in her mind. "Grandma said that you must finish your study immediately, but she didn't say where? Come with us, you at least need protection."

"That's great!" Diana exclaimed as she felt delighted at Amber's decision.

The main family of Lumbert and the baron family aren't really that has a grudge with each other. Albert decided to make his own name, still left a connection with the main family for the sake of image and dependence. He can at least use the resources of the main family until he finally leaves them.

He was thinking of raising his court rank, however, he can't do that without the support of the main family. Thinking bad of them in the shadow was at least he can do.

"Okay. I agree with this." Ellena remarked.

Amber just smiled then stood up, "Let's take a meal. I think the travel made you hungry. By the way, how did you get here?" She asked.

Diana, thinking of how she really gets here, grinned before answering. "Horseback riding! I can at least see their feelings so I know how to make them obey me!"

Isabella, seeing the atmosphere as foreign for her, seems to feel awkward since Ellena's sister came. She thought of why Diana get her since she didn't listen properly, she overthought that maybe Diana is going to take away Ellena from her.

She slowly approached Diana when they are climbing down the stairs. Since she was at the back, behind Diana, she tapped her softly to get her attention.

Diana just raised both eyebrows in confusion.

"Hm?"

Isabella hesitantly talks. "Did you came here to take away Big Sister from me?"

After hearing that, Diana's eyes widened in surprise.

"Why would I? She's my sister but she's not an object."

Isabella was hit by those words. She didn't think of it properly, that she felt stinginess and selfishness. Ellena is altruistic, however, she forgot to apply it to herself.

"Sorry. Please forget about it."

Isabella just walks fastly when they reached the ground floor, but Diana felt something about it. She was worried about something that asking Isabella about it would relieve her.

Before Isabella get away from her, she held Isabella's hand to turn her attention back to her.

"Wait. Can I ask you something?" Diana asked, it made Isabella nervous that she must have thought of it finally.

"W-what is it?" Obviously worried, she stuttered her words.

"Do you love Sister Ellena?"

Isabella wasn't expecting that question. Neither that it would be about her not about Ellena. Thinking of an answer, she faced Diana in the eyes, answering, "Yes."

When Diana heard it, she just smiled sweetly at her, making her confuse more, she felt relieved after Diana's next words. "Don't worry, if you love her, it's not bad if we make a nice relationship too right? Since we both love her."

Out of nowhere, Isabella felt a warming feeling in her heart. Seems to be the flowers bloom just inside her, she saw Diana glowing in tenderness. She also felt that Diana was really serious about that.

"You don't mind? Even if I'm just an outsider?" She asked in distress.

"Of course I don't mind. You're also her sister, right? Let's do what's best for her."

"O-okay... Thank you."

It was like a sun in a morning star, that a new door just opened, a new life, a new purpose, Isabella embraced Diana suddenly, making her shock.

"Hey?" Diana was obviously surprised, that she just can't stop letting out those words in confusion.

"You can be my sister too."

"Heh... Then it's final. Let's do our best."

Just like that, another relationship, trust, and companionship build in an instant because of Ellena. Aaron, observing above just smiled in his mind. Feeling the warmth as he could see, he just thought of what really Ellena was destined to do.
