I Became A System

Next events started to begin. As the sole purpose of the meeting was for an announcement, Lushana took out a paper then placed it on the table.

"These are evidence that Viscount Ghudan is working for Hubert. See it for yourselves."

The teens started to reach the papers then individually took one for themselves. Although at the first glance it was confusing for Ellena, eventually, she started to grasp the contents as she connected it to the lessons she took and the experience she had with the church.

Little by little, they started to show their reactions to reading the paper. Indeed, the contents of the paper show some oppression and money-related matters. Not just normal oppression, but draining ones that suffer more than one group.

Ellena showed her reaction. As Aaron also read the content, he just gasped as he was surprised by what he just read.

"This is unacceptable. Charity Foundations with embezzlement, what can just those people who supposed to receive the donation will do?" Hugo conveyed his dismay as he put down the paper violently.

"That's right! The reason why these charities are founded is because of the injustice in jobs. Since they only accept educated ones, what will happen to those who are at the bottom of the society?"

Despite their young age, they sound more like politicians reacting to events that make their citizens suffer. This kind of scene is new for Ellena, for the whole 5 months in the mansion, this was the first time that they finally opened to this kind of topic.

"Viscount Ghudan, a famous contractor. However, he used the founded charities in his land and sent them to Grandpa for support in the military. What kind of schemes are happening in the underworld?"

The term underworld is used to call the world in shadows. This means a world that isn't publicly visible with normal people. And Aaron hearing it was more intrigued as it may be another course in world society's type of power system.

"Calm down, Quin. These are just minor information, not the actual mission, you can vent it out by fixing it."

But Aaron just questioned Lushana's word in his mind. 'Why though these kids were the ones who need to fix it. Isn't these are adult's responsibility?'

"We all know that we can't really trust those adults," Cassandra said, just a coincident that was similar to what Aaron's thinking.

'You are quite right. I don't want to be ignorant so I at least have to study general adults in this world. Perhaps the term used, 'corrupted' by Amber was really true.' He said in his thoughts.

Continuing with the discussion, Lushana halts any more of their sentiments. As she wants to continue the meeting, she slowly opened the plan.

"Okay, calm down children. I will show the plan, so listen carefully." Lushana handed more papers containing the plan she made.

"This will be your first major mission as the last batch of third-generation. Of course, mere kids can't fix this so I prepared the phases."

As she continues, the teens started to pull papers from the table.

"Viscount Ghudan is an influential individual despite his court rank. He is one of the trusted nobles in the dukedom so obviously, planning it well is a must."

"As we all know, you can't do much if you aren't noble. If you dare to interfere with nobles, being just an offspring of a noble, will be useless. Also, mind that he isn't the only one we are fighting. He has the support of Hubert, so technically, damaging his tentacles will eventually make him realize and shift his attention towards us."

Those words hit Ellena. As she thought at the beginning that everything is just easy, just threaten them and it's done, she realized she was ignorant of the world's rules.

"Why do you think small rebellions don't do much? It's because the majority doesn't see them much important. They'll just think of them as jokes, trying to overthrow the regime. So what is the best course."

As they flipped into another page of the document, they were greeted by the main objectives to do the mission.

"Have the same standing as them, if better, higher than them. Killing Hubert isn't going to be easy, we must lessen his tentacles before damaging him bigger so those remnants won't threaten us in the future."

"Of course, you aren't the only batch who'll kill Hubert, you have your elders. They are at least adults, enough to hold the responsibility, however, they have different jobs to manage."

Aaron appears to be more excited by the wave. He felt that Lushana is about to say something that would overjoy him from being in the mansion for 5 months. As she didn't disclose it immediately, Aaron tried to have his own little game by guessing the next words.

'Perhaps these kids will try to contribute to the kingdom to have ranks. That's just speculation, I'll hear it in the next few seconds anyways.'

Lushana prepared herself. She was facing her grandchildren fiercely as it is an important matter. Managing such a broad agenda, a vast plan seems to be hard for her who was already at age.

For the past 5 years, all she has does is plan on how to remove that impostor in this world. However, those 5 years, is the only time that she saw hope in her dreams. The dream of making her husband rest in peace.

'Hubert really should die. Even I can't fathom his new personality, I must assist this generation.'

"Have a court rank. Although this may be difficult, I will help you. You're objective this year is to pass at the Royal Descendants Academy, the noble-making academy for noble offsprings."

The Royal Descendants Academy stands to its description as a noble-making academy. As it is a merit-based school for noble children, it is the best school for those who seek to make their own family in the court ranking. 

Merit-based, it clearly means that they must prove themselves. This academy has the purpose for the kingdom's prosperity.

'Hehehe...' Aaron just can't help but chuckle in his head. Hearing something interest, he can't help but feel the enthusiasm of everything. Finally, the very thing that he wants to happen, to explore the world and learn new things.

'I was right. This will be the best course.'

As things get more into climax, Lushana rides the mood by playing with her tone.

"Become a figure, that is the first phase for this major mission.. We will surely destroy what that impostor build."
