I Became A System

Another week have passed and Lushana bid her final words for her grandchildren to start their major mission. Although the 18 years old teens were immediately sent to the Academy, the remaining teens must do what they think they must do.

"You have your own ways to get stronger. But I want you to be careful. You still have a year before the academy so use it wisely."

With her voice full of authority, she just can't hold her concern towards her grandchildren. With pouch prepared, carried by a servant at her back, she ordered it to be distributed.

"Use it wisely. It is now time for your curiosity to work." She uttered while standing in front of them like a general in the military.

The scene was really odd for Aaron. Why would they do this kind of scenario where they act like they won't see each other again by sending her grandchildren to the military? It is really strange.

But unbeknownst to him, this is a kind of tradition for Lushana. Since she keeps on sending her grandchildren on a mission, she always does it to help herself not regret what she does.

Even she used months to have them educated, even the resources seems to be unlimited, she just felt regret in having them away. Perhaps her guilt that she can't do anything without their help?

Nonetheless, it wasn't important as she is sending these kids to live their own life.

Quin at the side just can't help but snicker. Although she has less familiarity with her grandmother, her forward personality patches it.

"We aren't going to battlefields grandmother. Save it when we are going to fight Grandpa." She said bluntly.

It was a disrespectful way of talking to your elders, however, since Lushana understood Quin's personality, she didn't pay much of it. She just answered her granddaughter like it was a joke.

"Yeah right. Better for you. But this is a phase for me to send you to maturity by yourselves. Have you planned where you are going?"

With the question left to them, they answered it one by one. There are answers that they will build personal relationships with other generations or with the same. There is also an answer that they will use the money to build a store for them to spread their name. There's even an answer that they will build an army then destroy some bandits.

But, there is one among them that is different from what they thought of. "I will just continue with the adventurers' guild."

It wasn't really a bad decision. But it was just strange, who would think of doing their entire year in a rocky destiny. Most of all, at the adventurers' guild where you just basically become a mercenary.

"Still odd," Quin commented.

Ellena just snickered. "But at least, I am confident with myself in that course. I can at least fight you with sticks."

"Forget about it battle maniac. You just train your body so that eventually you'll get sick without maintaining your beauty."

A sassy word, Aaron who was just hovering above Ellena laughed.

"Have you heard it? Better take care of your beauty." Aaron commented, teasingly to appear in Ellena.

'Shut up.' Ellena hissed.

"Sure you are right, but at least, I don't use my rune to escape, instead, I fight for my life." 

"You're making a fight with me?!"

Before the situation became worse, Hugo who was just laughing at them intervened.

"Okay, ladies! Better keep your forehead down so you won't get wrinkles!"

"You are ruining the fun, Hugo," Nathan said who was just standing at the side.

Amber also just laughed with Nathan who was teasing Quin for being too worried about her face. 

Lushan witnessing this can't just keep her joy. She also joined the fun that seems to can't contain anymore.

"Haha... Okay, please stop right now. Be careful, you have your personal carriage to have you ride to your destination, but after that you are solo."

For the final moment, Lushana took out 5 scrolls. It was having a color of age but it was still at the top of its quality. In fact, it was just the effects of the ingredients since it was an item build with a production rune.

"Take this."

All of them were confused from receiving an odd-looking scroll. Although it was expensive at the appearance, it was uncommon since no scrolls these days have sticks to support. All of the scrolls right now are at least built with storage-saving papers that are built with unique production processes.

"What's this?" They asked.

"That's an Emergency Scroll. If in life or death situations, I want you to open it to call for help. That sends us your location and we will assist you with that. But please be careful, don't use it without thinking, I won't give you another one if your reason was stupid."

"We understand." They answered in unison.

"Well then, my grandchildren, have a safe journey."

And after that, each of them ventured to their individual destinations.

After a while, Ellena was sitting at the carriage, remembering the farewell she gave to her two sisters.

Even it was short, she just made a bitter smile while she was at it. Echoing through her mind what Isabella said, despite its purpose of joking.

"Better not return with a man." What Isabella said.

Ellena seems to not understand it. And of course, that joke wasn't the only one she received. Diana also followed Isabella's teasing.

"Make sure that you won't replace me with a man."

Sighing, it was frustrating that Ellena felt reminiscing that scene. Their face full of trickery can't be removed from her mind. The way their eyebrows move up and down was bothering her for an unknown reason.

Aaron who noticed Ellena's negative expression questioned her. But just laugh when she heard the reason.

'Wh-why are you laughing?'

"Nothing! Just a funny reason for being down."

'You can't blame me, I can't understand what they said.'

Aaron almost forgot that Ellena hasn't experienced any intimate situation. Even clues of how things happen, just how she doesn't know what is s*x.

"Don't worry. If the time comes, I will surely assist you."

'Eh...! Can't you just tell what is it?'

"Nope, it's too bothering to mention," Aaron said while another word followed up in his mind.. 'It would be really bothering to see you with a man having an intimate relationship. Just imagine how can I escape those scenes? I can't manage to think straight!'
