I Can't Believe I Fell In Love With You

Arthur replied his son in a silent tone. "no."

Tim let out a mocking sigh, "so what's the problem? why do you wish to expand your company when it's doing fine and providing you money to feed your and your family?" he asked.

Arthur went mute. He had later marry the woman a few months after Tim's mother's death, since they have kids together anyway.

After a few months of being married, he and the wife started having issues, as she got a lot of money from him when he was still his mistress, and now that they are legally married, she thought she would enjoy full luxury, but they could only feed themselves with the money they saved beforehand and she didn't get to taste the wealth she craved.

The woman was angry that the company fall into Tim's hand and fought his husband for it, yet Arthur never tell her that the company was not his but his late wife's, which made it 100% Tim's own.

He only told her that Tim was his first son and has lost his mother because of him, so he deserves the company. 

After bearing with him for sometimes and not able to take it anymore, the woman decided to take out Tim. She has endured for three years, but things aren't getting better.

So, she hired people to kill him.

But when the guys he hired knew the identity of whom they were task to deal with, they capture the woman instead and deliver her to Tim.  

He didn't do much after learning the truth from his boys, he just commented on the woman ill luck.

She was very careful not to get caught and went to seek help from the underground gang, but has actually given them the mission to kill their boss.

But he still has his policy, he wouldn't hurt a woman.

"It's a pity I don't hurt woman. you're, let me say a bit lucky today," Tim had said to the woman then, while his boys made her kneel in front of him.

But suddenly, he squints his eyes as if he had just thought of something, "wait a minute, would it be fair if I let the woman who tried to hurt me live?" 

The five hefty guys in the room shook their head, since Tim seems to be directing the question to them. 

Tim expression suddenly went pensive. "I can't bare to see a woman get hurt, so you guys should just break her legs when I'm gone and return her to her house.

If she failed to give the address, just dump her by the road side, far from where I am, I don't want to see a woman hurt please." 

Tim said this as if he asking someone to dispose some dirt in the bin for him, with a calm expression.

He was about to leave when he suddenly stopped, "And oh! don't let me hear that her leg has later recovered after some stupid surgery." he added and left.

The guys nodded in understanding, it means they should cripple her to a point where surgery won't play any sort of miracle later.

The woman's eyes widened. Her entire being shook, while she looked at her legs who was still intact and imagine them crippled. 

She started begging, as she was working to support the family. If she loses her legs, how is she supposed to support the family, Arthur has just started a small business, and it's not yet bringing in much income.

She's like the bread winner of the family at present. Her kids needs her. They will be mocked for her condition.

"Please! this isn't fair. Think of my kids Timothy, they are your siblings." she pleaded out loud.

Tim, who was listening to her pleading, smiled after getting out of the room. He has decided not to get at the woman for ruining his mother, along with the help of his father, but the woman actually dare to try to harm him.

He scoffed and an evil smile followed, he really wished to see how his father will react when he receives another crippled wife at his doorstep.
