The assassin stopped sparring with Kyoya when he confirmed that the sun was about to show its face. It was impossible to see it in this foggy land, so Kyoya was still in training mode!

This caused the assassin to speak such words. Luckily enough, other disciples weren't here! Once both of them reached the main gates, Kyoya became exposed to the Grooma Kingdom. The sight of the assassin was nowhere to be seen, but Kyoya knew that he wouldn't expose himself like that.

And Kyoya was the usual visitor here, so it was no problem… He just returned to his house while the sun kept showing more of its form. People were also leaving and coming from facilities as their shifts either end or began.

Kyoya then casually passed through the gates and found himself in front of his house.

There was Xaya sitting on the chair with the plush toy in her arms. Her eyes were looking straight to the entrance to their property, so Kyoya instantly got spotted. She was covered in a blanket and the sight of other empty chairs told Kyoya that others spent the night with Xaya too.

It was already morning, so Xiaoxiao and others surely went to begin their morning routine.

Though various thoughts have crossed Xaya's mind, she chose just the one she felt like saying the most. Following her desires, Xaya also displayed a smile that did its utmost best to hide her small fear that appeared when Kyoya didn't come back home by night.

His appearance washed off this fear, and then, Kyoya made sure to completely reassure his wife.

"I am back, my wife. Did you sleep?"

"I didn't."

Kyoya took the chair next to his wife, then his hand landed on hers. Their hands intertwined instinctively, then as the eyes met, Kyoya told Xaya about his encounter with the assassin and a big chance to polish his abilities.

He also revealed the game messages about 'Jack's Disciple' status.

"He is the real deal. Are you angry at me, Xaya?"

"Just a little?"

Kyoya then switched the topic. He asked about Xaya's shopping and how it went. He hoped that everything went well and Xaya quickly confirmed it by singing out everything. It was an enjoyable day for the ladies and both of them spent all the money that he gave to Xiaoxiao on the dinner.

Then, their own pockets got hurt by the amount of dresses and other clothing in the wardrobe.

"I bought new lingerie, husband. It's sexy, but I won't show you."

"Thank you."

"Ah, we forgot about the husband's state…"

Apparently, this was Xiaoxiao and Maria's idea to not show her new lingerie to the husband. It was said as punishment for not coming back for the night, but the ladies said it in spur of the moment, so Kyoya's current state slipped out of their minds.

This made Xaya pout. She took off her shirt and pounced at the husband with the goal to open his eyes. Amidst Kyoya's laughter, Xaya seriously did her best to make him go wide by kissing and using her strength as 'the husband's support' that was like tickling for the stacked with stats husband.

They wrestled for a little on the ground, then Kyoya did a sudden attack and hugged his wife tightly.

"I promised to deal with this seal quickly, so don't worry. The Assassin Craft is already within my game system, so I just need experience and the assassin's knowledge."

"A few months at most, the husband!"

"That's more than enough! Imagine how loaded I will be later on!"

"Husband! We will fuck for weeks!"

The way he said these words felt like Kyoya wanted to point something out that happened in the past. Xaya belatedly realized that Kyoya meant his summoning and some of her doings that happened just after this.

She couldn't tell how far he meant, but Xaya still didn't regret her past choices much. What she lacked was experience and her time with the husband when she was rather forceful ended up forming a new kind of experience, then led to some development.

As smart as she was, Xaya knew that she was advancing in her relationship with the husband both thanks to her sweet feelings and Kyoya's attitude. Then, he suddenly surprised her.

"Maybe one day, I will be the one to wait for you in the house."

"Will the husband be worried?"

"I will. I will be worried, but I will also wait patiently while doing my stuff. But, Xaya… If it's too hard for you, then I can just visit this assassin daily and head straight back home when the sun hides from the world."

Xaya's trust began to bloom just recently, so Kyoya was asking more than he should. But he also didn't mind it as he wanted their relationship to be the best anyway. It was also the first time Kyoya was in any serious relationship, so he just took things more carefully. He felt like he was doing a good job, though.

And Xaya's words verified his thoughts.

"Husband... can spend... a few days outside."

"Xaya…"

"It's not like… the husband will train with the assassin for the rest of his life…"

"Will you sleep and spend your days without any fear then?"

"I will… I will train my supporting abilities, husband. And speak with others..."

Though Kyoya didn't plan to spend many days outside without Xaya, he knew that he could use this chance to build the trust naturally or at least make the trust rose grow up. He smiled and thanked his wife for the trust she began developing.

Then, he took a nap within her bosom.

"Sleep well, husband."
