The Ice Divine's Inheritance was like the test between the loved ones.

The test used ice as the main attribute and tested one's partners sincerity and heart. Of course, initially, it wasn't like that. Thus, the inheritance had many proper rooms as well where the adventurers could test themselves against the ice concepts.

Kyoya and Xiaoxiao had done a great job in all of these rooms. Akaro's knowledge and flames also had been a relieving force, but the villager lady fared well on her own too.

The husband's choice to bring Xiaoxiao here was one of his wisest choices. The coldness moved in its usual way, it had its hard to understand pattern as it spread its corrosive and debilitating poison.

For any fire believer, such a concept would be impossible to learn from. Of course, after the hybrid chaos, people could argue that many fire believers had already tasted different attributes.

Still, Xiaoxiao displayed promising potential and her Invisible Flames sucked all the ice concept's insights! With the husband as her partner in this inheritance, Xiaoxiao was destined to raise her level and draw herself closer to her sister's location.

However, the husband and his women weren't the only couple here.

"It's you... I guess the hybrid is unthinkable to you?" The man clad in blue armor reached out for The Ice Master. He was from the neighboring kingdom which had already settled themselves in the new environment.

They weren't the only ones to do so as many powerhouses from this floor had already found their safe zones, but his strength was no joke.

The man had been practicing the ice concept for years and believed in one of the ice gods wholeheartedly.

Thus, he was aware of The Ice Master. This person had many names, but The Ice Master suited him the most. This title or name wasn't given because of a good relationship between the mortal and the god nor was it taken by The Ice Master because he was a prodigy.

If anything, his body was worthy of such a title as the concepts dwelling within him were vast and unfathomable.

Both of them had clashed already, their people also glaring at each other with disdain and hate.

At the helm, The Ice Master parted his lips, "How about you scram, then?" He tilted his head and looked deeply at the enemy leader whose face slightly distorted due to his words. The Ice Master's words sounded as if the fear could be felt in the opposite faction!

The Ice Master added, "Fear or not, if you want hybrid concepts, then fuck off somewhere else."

"Foolish," The man replied instantly, "This inheritance... stinks with uniqueness. It's not inheritance for the hybrid class... It's an inheritance to usher the ice elements to supremacy." How could he give up on it? Both men's eyes sharpened and as the sounds of other battles escalated and its loud sounds scratched their ears, the leaders barrelled into each other and pure ice battle began!

Following them, both armies swarmed the area with their killing intent surging from within. This unique feeling could be only conveyed through their concepts, so a lot of snapping ice sounds, sharp ice blades conjuring themselves from the ground and mid-air and many other things unfolded around these two established and powerful ice people.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Within one of the top towers, Kyoya and the rest had been listening to all those battles while keeping their eyes ahead. If someone entered the castle's grounds, then they would move accordingly.

For now, the husband smoothly gathered enough fragments to enter the top tower, then faced the monsters slithering around here. Ice cubes floating around the staircase took various forms upon sensing the husband's presence.

Those forms were mostly based on ferocious animals such as lions, but other humanoid races also sometimes happened.

The husband and his flame sisters practiced their concepts diligently, then Kyoya stepped on the top first.

He found a cube that was made for him.

"That's the last test for today," Kyoya smiled, "And another endurance one?" His smile deepend as he asked this out loud. Akaro, in her cat form, took the husband's head for herself, while Xiaoxiao's arm slithered around the husband's.

Her spear went to the front, then lit up in two concepts. One hidden, one mesmerizingly burning as if its purpose was to keep the invisible beast hidden.

The immensely cold waves rushed at them from the front!

Xiaoxiao's spear was the first to contact it. Her weapon split the freezing disaster into two, then her flames bickered with it to keep this stalemate in her favor. Not alone, Xiaoxiao's smile deepend as Akaro's flames crept their way to the spear as well.

The husband didn't stay idle as well.

Though it was great that the front was busy with his Xiaoxiao, all of them were exposed from other directions. The husband summoned his avatars first, then his cards entered the floor with abundance.

It began with the cards that lit up with flames as well. They polarized the waves at first, creating the explosion that shook the whole tower. Kyoya followed with more cards that supplied the first ones that had yet to disappear.

Thanks to that energy supply, Kyoya stopped the waves and endured properly together with his loved ones.

Of course, the test couldn't be that easy at the top.

The cold waves abruptly raised their content up to the ceiling. Towering before the couple for a few seconds, the cold water shifted its form into frozen one. Cracks spread across its shape, then boulders descended one by one at the husband's family!

Promptly reacting to this, Kyoya threw the volley of his cards. These formed the line of fire stars that shattered those boulders into a myriad of ice pebbles.

Those pebbles were already claimed by Xiaoxiao! Her whole body burst out with flames, then with the cat on her shoulder, Xiaoxiao kicked the ground and flew up a little to whirl around the husband.

Her spear did a clean 360 arc that swept away all pebbles. They melted and disappeared. "This frozen wave is better for us!" Xiaoxiao exclaimed happily, but as if listening to her words, the frozen wave imploded and its cold waves swept again at the party!

Xiaoxiao pouted, but laughed quickly after and worked together with the husband whose face shared and reciprocated her emotions. The whole test or challenge was like that and the husband had to wait for the wave to freeze wholly.

There were four times total of such development.

The top of the tower got cleaned after.

The Ice cube in the middle appeared again, then opened itself like a case. It had already recorded the husband's presence, so it revealed the content prepared for him. The two blue knives looked so grand and left such a deep and exciting impression within the husband that he gulped.

His smile widened then, "Just one is enough." Kyoya patted the ice cube, then forced two knives to assimilate. In the past, he used two knives but he lacked many concepts and experience.

Now, the husband was different and he preferred to have one knife as a weapon. The two knives became one and let out more prominent energy!

The husband's smile turned stupid! He was looking so stupid that Akaro commented, her words brigning Xiaoxiao's laughter all out, "I felt this smile already as it was directed at me too... Kyoya..."

"Haha! He is genuinely happy! Isn't it great?" Xiaoxiao asked the tsundere goddess and seeing her cat head disappearing in her bosom, Xiaoxiao didn't press further as it would make things more awkward for the goddess.

Hugging the cat, Xiaoxiao approached the husband and congratulated him, "One of three towers secured. Good job and congratulations, Kyoya!" His hard work was rewarded!

"It's the result of our teamwork. Yes, I am speaking about you too." The husband poked Akaro's cat head, but it just made his finger go around Xiaoxiao's chest, so their eyes met and the couple decided to rest.

This top floor already became their headquarters and Kyoya began to assimilate closer with the divine inheritance.

Kyoya narrowed his eyes. He had both Xiaoxiao and the knife hovering above his body, but this particular explanation brought a lot of questions to his heart. Thus, Xiaoxiao's warmth became a little ignored.

The husband's hand kept stroking her unconsciously, so Xiaoxiao didn't care at all. She was sleeping actually.

"Akaro... The Divine Blacksmith's dreams are different from normal dreams, right?"

"There are rumors going on that if the divine blacksmith dreams of the creation or just the weapon itself, then it will bend the rules. I can't justify it, so I have never spoken about it to Hana." Akaro replied like the goddess!
