Lin Yun ran quickly in the forest and the surrounding trees flashed past him like fast-forwarded movie scenes.

Suddenly, he felt something and quickly dropped to the ground.

A bullet grazed his right leg and went into the muddy ground. The bullet did not make any sound at all.

Silenced bullet!

Lin Yun hurried to a short tree more than a meter wide and leaned against the trunk to check his wound.

The bullet only grazed his right leg slightly. But a numbing feeling spread from the wound, and in an instant, he could no longer feel his leg. The fresh blood flowing out of the wound was thick and black.

The bullet is poisoned! He quickly sucked out the poisoned blood, then tightened a bandage around his thigh.

This silenced bullet was deadly. Lin Yun took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. He forced himself to calm down and think of an idea.

“I couldn’t outrun him even when I ran with all my might. That means his speed should be on par with mine. This poisoned silenced bullet is deadly enough to kill with one hit. In this case, I should think of a way to hide in his blind spot.”

Just as Lin Yun was planning, he suddenly felt that tree behind his back shake violently.

“Boom!”

A roar entered Lin Yun’s ear and a huge blast blew him off the ground. Mud and bits of wood hit his back. He turned around to see the meter-wide tree blasted into pieces. The part where the tree was broken off, as well as the broken pieces of wood on the ground, was still on fire.

Explosive bomb!

A small explosive bomb was powerful enough to kill an elephant. This poacher actually had explosive bombs that were only allocated to the army.

Just when Lin Yun hesitated, another explosive bomb fell beside him. Countless fallen leaves and dirt were stirred up by the explosion. Blazes of fire quickly rose and trapped Lin Yun in a sea of fire.

Lin Yun’s vision was blocked by the black smoke and fire. His eyes teared from the thick smoke and his lungs were filled with a pungent odor. He couldn’t help but cough loudly.

What should I do?

Facing endless bullets from the poacher, it was impossible for him to escape. The only thing he could do was to make use of the smoke and fire caused by the explosive bombs to sneak up on the poacher and kill him! Hence, Lin Yun held his breath and moved forward instead of retreating, crawling toward the direction of the poacher.

In order to deal with the trial of the Blue Sea Forest, Lin Yun wore a grayish-yellow camouflage suit, similar in color to the trees in the Blue Sea Forest. In the thick black smoke, he slowly crawled forward without alerting the poacher.

The ground in the Blue Sea Forest was covered with fallen leaves. Lin Yun moved slowly among the fallen leaves like a small loach, advancing toward the poacher’s location.

100 meters.

50 meters.

Finally, Lin Yun reached the area where the poacher fired the bullet.

Suddenly, a large tree dozens of meters ahead of him shook slightly. Then, a noisy shout came from the top of the tree, “I’m here. You cannot find me, hahaha!”

“So, you’re here.” Lin Yun was elated. He lifted his head slowly but did not see the poacher.

He was confused. He looked carefully and finally saw a bullet embedded in the tall tree trunk.

“Is this the legendary recording bullet?” Lin Yun suddenly realized that the poacher had not found him. Hence, he wanted to use this bullet to lead himself out. He was relieved. If he was not close to the tree and did not have supervision of 100 meters, he would definitely be exposed.

Following the direction of the bullet, Lin Yun finally found the poacher. He was actually on a big tree in front of him. He was a one-eyed man with a bright sniper rifle on his shoulder and a worn belt full of various bullets. He narrowed his eyes and looked through the sniper mirror in the direction of the recording bullet. His mouth was wide, showing his uneven yellow teeth.

Lin Yun lay motionless on the ground and waited patiently.

Finally, a gust of wind blew through, making a rustling sound, and rolling up several fallen leaves on the ground. Lin Yun took the opportunity to move tens of centimeters towards the big tree.

The one-eyed man was still unaware. He continued to look at the tree with the recording bullet.

The breeze blew again, and Lin Yun continued to move dozens of centimeters forward. Sweat flowed down his cheeks and dripped into the dirt.

The one-eyed man seemed a little puzzled. He slowly moved his sniper mirror and looked towards the sea of fire. Of course, there was nothing.

There was another breeze, and Lin Yun slowly crawled behind the big tree. He leaned close to the big tree like flowing water. He held his breath, narrowed his eyes, and stared silently at the movement of the one-eyed man.

The one-eyed man calmed down again, held his sniper rifle, and faced the tree with the recording bullet without moving. Waiting had always been a must-have for snipers. But was he waiting for victory or death?

Lin Yun moved like a long snake. Taking advantage of the sounds of the wind, he climbed up the tree slowly, his eyes fixed on the poacher’s throat. He was like a lurking beast preparing to give a fatal blow to its prey.

Closer, even closer.

Lin Yun could clearly see the one-eyed man’s chest which was slightly undulating due to breathing, and his adam’s apple that swelled when he swallowed. Sweat dripped down from Lin Yun’s eyelids, but he widened his eyes and didn’t dare to blink.

The one-eyed man finally realized something was wrong. He shook his head subconsciously but saw a pair of eyes staring at him. It was as if he had seen a wicked beast. He was so startled that he wanted to yell.

However, a sharp blade quickly swept his fragile neck. He did not manage to shout. His last awareness was of falling from the tree.

Lin Yun sat on the tree with the bloody dagger in his right hand and felt a strong sense of fear. After a long time, he slowly climbed down from the tree and looked at the body of the one-eyed man. The man’s widened eye seemed to portray complex expressions such as doubt, shock, and unwillingness. It seemed that he didn’t believe that he would be killed by a “prey” of his own.

Lin Yun wiped the blood off the dagger and took the one-eyed man’s sniper rifle and bullets. He thought quietly. “Even without a sniper rifle, this one-eyed man’s skill surpassed me. However, because he was not alert enough, he was killed by me. This shows that I should be alert at all times. Otherwise, I might be killed by the dagger in the next second.”

Holding the sniper rifle, Lin Yun felt more courageous. He checked the map and walked slowly towards the Hong Bo Ancient Tomb.

Nothing unusual happened along the way. Several beasts were frightened off by Lin Yun’s sniper rifle. Finally, the surrounding trees gradually became sparse and an empty land appeared in the distance. Hong Bo’s tomb was near.

“Hahaha. Miss, it’s still early. How about you have some fun with me?”

An arrogant voice sounded. Lin Yun quickly stopped and looked up. A few hundred meters away, several middle-aged people stood around the two students. He hurriedly looked through the sniper mirror. It was Dongfang Ruoxue and Li Tian, who were captured by poachers.

Lin Yun saw that there were four poachers in total from the sniper mirror. Among them, two of them held long knives and the other two held firearms. Dongfang Ruoxue and Li Tian were tied up in ropes on the ground. They seemed to be injured. One of the poachers reached out to tear Dongfang Ruoxue’s camouflage clothes, causing her to scold loudly.

“If I kill them one by one, they will definitely be alerted. If the poachers get anxious, they might be in danger. But if I don’t take action now, Dongfang Ruoxue will suffer.” Lin Yun thought secretly and was in a dilemma.

Suddenly, a hand appeared out of nowhere and patted on Lin Yun’s shoulder. He got a shock and quickly turned around.
