Lately, I've noticed fewer reviews for the earlier chapters; most people are only reading the latest ones.

I'm writing this author's note today mainly because of a huge rant I received, which lasted from 1 AM to 9 AM, both in private messages and in the comments section.

This person had already read the latest chapter, and when I checked their subscription list, they had 9 books but none of mine. I pretty much knew they were reading pirated copies.

Subscribing requires spending Qidian coins, and I know that at this point, many people will inevitably go elsewhere to read.

At times like these, every author feels down for a long time.

To those who read the official version, I respectfully call you esteemed readers. To those who read pirated versions, I'll also call you readers.

But if you read the pirated version and then come to criticize, that's just not right, really.

Some readers also have questions about the performance, saying that the results are poor or something. Here, Ya Ji would like to defend myself a little. This is my second book.

I'm already very satisfied with the results I have today. Currently, it's hovering around 40th place in daily sales within the game category.

The idea of becoming a god with a single book is a lie. Every successful author has failed with countless books before finally making it.

My current update rate is still decent, around 8000-9000 words a day, all done while trying to ensure quality as much as possible.

I've also been gradually fixing the problematic parts from the earlier chapters, and I'm grateful to the readers who support me.
