I have an eye of truth
#40 - Try the Bodybuilding Exercise
The Starry Sky Meditation Technique requires meditating on a total of twelve images. Each image has the same level of difficulty, making it very difficult to get started.
Unlike other cultivation methods that progress from easy to difficult, the Starry Sky Meditation Technique maintains the same difficulty from beginning to end. However, once you get the hang of it, the subsequent cultivation becomes easier because the difficulty doesn't increase.
Looking at the first image, it goes from blurry to clear, revealing countless stars scattered within its intricate design.
Each star must also have a certain connection to others; they cannot exist in isolation. This adds many complex thought processes when the mind is contemplating the image, making it impossible for the average person to complete, even with their brain overheating.
At this moment, the Eye of Truth in his mind began to emit a faint glow. Under this light, Wang Yang felt that the previously incomprehensible starry sky image suddenly became easier to understand.
The image seemed to be just that, adorned with star after star. As the image began to become clearer, Wang Yang injected his mental power into it, beginning to polish it while imbuing it with his own aura.
This was a long-term task, a slow and steady process that would take a very long time.
But suddenly, a special energy from within the Eye of Truth poured into his mental power, and Wang Yang immediately felt himself growing stronger. Starting with the first star, each star was lit up by his mental power.
Wang Yang could also clearly feel that cultivating this way was simply too easy. For others, getting started often took years to calculate, but for him, it only took a short time to complete.
He quickly completed one image, and Wang Yang continued his efforts, completing four Starry Sky images in one go.
Just as Wang Yang was preparing to continue, he suddenly felt a bit dizzy, accompanied by a series of stabbing pains.
"Not good, mental power is overdrawn, can't continue." Wang Yang realized that although he was consuming the power of the Eye of Truth when condensing the Starry Sky images, his own mental power was still involved.
Because he had consumed too much, he couldn't continue. The consumption of cultivating body tempering techniques can be compensated by eating, but he obviously couldn't compensate for the mental power consumed by meditation, at least not now.
After feeling that something was wrong, Wang Yang didn't dare to continue.
He didn't want to pass out in this training room. He sensed the Eye of Truth, and the energy he had absorbed during this meditation had been used up a bit, but there was still a lot of energy left, at least accounting for more than half.
Should he save these to continue improving later? Wait, he seemed to have forgotten something.
"My ability can not only enhance my various abilities, but also acquire and strengthen new ones. So, I wonder if other abilities can be strengthened as well."
Wang Yang muttered to himself. He didn't dare to say such things out loud, even if there was no one here. Who knew if someone was monitoring this place? It wouldn't be good if he was discovered.
If the Eye of Truth could strengthen skills, then couldn't his White Wolf Body Tempering Technique be strengthened as well?
The White Wolf Body Tempering Technique is indeed very perfect, but it's not without its flaws.
It's true that it can improve all aspects to a very high degree, but it doesn't improve them to the extreme. Some other top-level body tempering techniques specialize in training strength, and while they might be inferior to the White Wolf Body Tempering Technique in other aspects, they far exceed it in strength.
There are also some that improve speed, reaction time, defense, and so on. It seems that they are all like this.
The White Wolf Body Tempering Technique excels in its comprehensiveness, lacking any weaknesses, and because all aspects are strong, it is considered the strongest among body tempering techniques. But what if all aspects could be strengthened to the extreme?
Since various aspects can be strengthened to the limit before reaching the official profession, it proves that the limit of the human body is not what the current White Wolf Body Tempering Technique can achieve.
Thinking of this, Wang Yang's eyes narrowed. Perhaps he could give it a try.
He didn't have enough war merits in a short time, so he wouldn't redeem further information.
Wang Yang sat down again, sensing the Eye of Truth, and then began to guide it. The Eye of Truth could understand his thoughts and then mobilize its own power to proceed exactly according to Wang Yang's ideas.
Wang Yang, who had already successfully cultivated the White Wolf Body Tempering Technique, was relatively knowledgeable in this regard. The pupils of the Eye of Truth gradually became empty, and a special force flowed within, then began to combine.
Even if Wang Yang could feel it, he didn't know what this thing represented. He always felt like he understood it, but at the same time, he seemed to understand nothing at all. This feeling was like doing math problems in a dream, clearly having solved them, but when he recalled it, it was a void, and he had no idea how he had done it.
That feeling made Wang Yang very uncomfortable. After looking at it for a long time, Wang Yang even felt a burst of dizziness in his head.
It seemed that he couldn't continue to look at it, so Wang Yang simply ignored it.
He didn't know how much time had passed, but thirty-six movements appeared in his mind, and then these movements gradually evolved, bit by bit. Then, some of the earlier movements underwent tremendous changes, and new movements began to appear in succession.
At this time, the energy within Wang Yang's Eye of Truth began to flow away drastically.
When almost all of the power was exhausted, Wang Yang finally woke up.
"How did the number of movements increase to one hundred and eight? It has increased by two times. And the changes seem to be a bit too big." Wang Yang frowned and looked at each one.
But when he saw the 72nd movement, Wang Yang stopped. Because the movements behind it seemed to be covered in frosted glass, he couldn't see them clearly no matter what.
This meant that the movements behind it had not evolved, and the energy he had collected was not enough. Wait, not enough?
"How is that possible? So much energy has been exhausted. Is this a joke?"
Wang Yang finally discovered the fact that he didn't have enough energy. He had originally planned to rest and then continue to improve his meditation technique, but he didn't expect that he had exhausted it all now. This was really depressing.
It seemed that it would take a long time to improve his body tempering technique, and if he wanted to improve his martial skills or other abilities, he would have to postpone it further.
"Today's matters have basically been accomplished, so let's wait until tomorrow."
Wang Yang shook his head and walked out of the lounge on his own, not paying any attention to the gazes of others on the road. He returned to his room and fell asleep.
It wasn't until the next day that the assembly bugle woke Wang Yang, and he realized that it was time for training. Without looking, he knew that it must not be dawn yet.
