“You saved my life?”

My house was quite small.

The living space is almost entirely on the second floor, and most of the first floor was taken up by the illegal jewelry store. This left very little free space on the first floor.

I was with Heimdahl in the space where he was treated during the day again.

“That’s right.”

Heimdahl stared at me with an intrigued expression.

His buttons were untidy and his face was half-covered with his messy hair.

It was as if a beautiful, profligate saint had jumped out of a painting. Yes, that would be him.

I can’t believe a face can be this messy yet still so attractive.

I was nearly gawking.

However, I had only treated him because the wound was so bad.

‘Is it okay to treat people like this?’

I looked down at my tightly bound hands.

Heimdahl had done this as soon as he entered my house.

It’s not like it’s fun to do stupid things. But he was a meticulous person. He could have been careless around me.

After listening to everything I had to say, Heimdahl rubbed his chin. He tilted his head  languidly.

“Ah. For some reason, he said I was fine even after attacking that guy. Was that your doing?”

That guy was the one who taught Heimdahl the means and methods to be strong.

He would eventually be the teacher who’d have his power stolen from him and is killed by Heimdahl.

Maybe he’s the ‘important guy’ who tossed this man at my door.

“It’s all thanks to you. You’re the one who did this, right?”

“Oh, because I’m the kind of person who can heal people.”

In the book, Heimdahl also visited him, which was where he learned the skills necessary to become a full-fledged villain.

As I had predicted, this was the period before he became a fully-fledged villain.

“Now that I’ve told you everything, don’t you think it’s safe to untie me?”

After a moment I spoke up again.

“You don’t have to pay for the treatment.”

Heimdahl looked at me lightly, casually shrugging off my request.

“You’re not afraid? Even though you’re all tied up?”

I shrugged calmly.

It’s no surprise that this kind of thing happened, especially with your being personality like that.

My lips, which had been closed tightly, parted.

“It’s not a once-in-a-lifetime situation here. Everyone is used to it unless they paid someone to protect them for a day or two. Kidnapping, extortion, violence, and…”

My hands were starting to hurt now. Are you really not going to untie me? Heimdahl stared at me for a moment, seeming to ponder at the insinuation.

“You must see this kind of thing regularly.”

The corners of Heimdahl’s mouth curved up imperceptibly.

Soon the smile faded, and he rose from his seat.

“Is it because you’re confident you won’t die right now?”

He walked over and plopped down on his knees right in front of me.

I could catch a glimpse of his solid build in the gaps between the buttons.

How can he look this seductive just by not wearing glasses?

His face was suddenly much closer.

“Miss.”

To be honest, it was a ridiculous situation.

The female knight I’d met by chance in the back alley knew me, so I’d been shoved away straight off the bat and tied up.

However, I knew that this man should not be lumped with any old run-of-the-mill villain.

More than anything, this man was not someone who did crazy things without a plan.

It was a key piece of information that he was remarkably smart, whether it was day or night.

So he shouldn’t have been in front of my house.

He must have decided that there was a reason he had been moved.

This was the only thing I could be sure of.

“I opened my eyes and found a strange address on my desk.”

“…”

“I’m very curious right now.”

When he switched, Heimdahl could not remember his alter ego.

Day to night, night to day. So they were always very attentive to changes when they opened their eyes.

Especially at night, Heimdahl was obsessed with pursuing the unknown.

This was a disaster for me.

I wasn’t home all day. The day side of Heimdahl must have gone back. Knowing that, you shouldn’t be the one to meet me.
