The two began to walk down the path again after fixing their appearances. Gideon was glad that Kaiden looked like himself again. But for some reason, he, himself, was not. His throat felt extremely dry after they finished. It's as if he was walking in a desert for days and he got one drop of water.

He glanced at his wrist that was still being held by Kaiden as he guided him. The two of them didn't speak as they walked. They would turn a few corners here and there until Kaiden stopped. He turned to look at Gideon but upon seeing that the other person was looking at him, he immediately averted his eyes. Gideon was disoriented so this action confused him.

"step aside, I'll open the exit" Kaiden finally spoke after so long.

Gideon nodded and felt a chill when Kaiden lets go of his wrist.

'Was this pathway always chilly?'

Kaiden's hand may have been warming him up the entire time.

The Prince swept his hand across the wall he was facing. This action somehow activated some sort of spell and an outline of a door appeared. Kaiden pushed the door and it slowly opened.

The sudden bright brought discomfort to Gideon's eyes. When it finally adjusted, he could see that they were near the Castle's Gardens. Kaiden was the first one to step out and he did so by pushing away some of the plants that had been blocking his way. Gideon followed after but perhaps due to the slight injury on his ankles, he almost tripped if it weren't for Kaiden catching him.

"Gideon, what's wrong with you?!" Kaiden slightly panicked and Gideon shook his head.

"There's nothing wrong. I just feel a little chilly" He was looking for warmth and since he was being held by Kaiden, he tried to lean closer. However, Kaiden moved away from him and instead wrapped him with his coat.

Kaiden was still perplexed by the situation when Amias came rushing into the scene calling out to him.

"Your Highness, Your father..." His words faded as he saw Gideon's situation. Amias looked from Gideon to Kaiden who coughed and helped Gideon stand on his own.

"Is he looking for me?" Kaiden walked towards Amias while the latter kept glancing back and forth between the two men in front of him.

"He is. Um..." Amias can easily detect these sorts of things and Kaiden looked like he was avoiding Gideon.

"I'll head over there, can you take Gideon to Stephen?"

"I haven't seen the guy around, but-" Amias dashed towards Gideon who suddenly collapsed. He called out to Gideon a few times before placing his hand on his forehead. He checked Gideon's state and was a little confused.

'Wait, he's not half-human... he's half-angel. But he doesn't exhibit any angelic characteristics, how is this...'

Then again we had another example of a half-angel and half-demon right in front of him who is a polar opposite in terms of his powers and conditions.

"What's wrong with him?!" Kaiden was panicking once more, there were so many things happening to Gideon in just a day. First, the attack. Second, the "incident". And now, this?!

"Calm down, he just needs to rest."

"You didn't answer my question"

"That's because I have no clue as well okay?! How the hell was I supposed to know he's not half-human" Amias snaps at Kaiden and carries Gideon in his arms.

"While you're on your way to your father, go ask the others to head to the Caduceus Wing. I'll see what I can do to help him"

Kaiden hesitated in leaving Gideon to Amias but it was his actions that did this to him. And thus, he swallowed whatever argument he was about to throw out and nodded.

Amias walked the prince quickly walking out of the scene. He couldn't help but sigh and run to the Caduceus Wing to help Gideon get treated. Gideon was sort of slipping in and out of consciousness as he ran and asked;

"Kaiden?"

"He's busy with things. I don't know how you two got into 'that' situation but I need you to tell me how to help you"

Gideon didn't respond and it seems like he had fallen asleep once more. Amias reached the building but right now everyone was busy trying to treat the rest of the injured. On his way to the more private rooms, he saw Azazel down the hall.

"Azazel!" Amias called out to the Azazel who was busy looking at some papers. Azazel looked up and saw the person Amias was carrying and immediately rushed over.

"What happened to Gideon?" Azazel placed his hand on Gideon's forehead and also discovered the same situation that Amias had seen. Amias didn't have to wait for a follow-up question since his expression already said a lot.

"His body is not used to having this much energy in him. I have no idea how to help him because if I tried to draw out his powers, his other half would react negatively"

"We shouldn't talk much about this here... Let's lay him down somewhere first" Azazel took Gideon from Amias since the latter looked like he was about to faint anytime.

Well considering the fact he had to over-exert his powers earlier to save everyone from the poison gas. His condition, other than his bandaged up hands, was better than him. The two removed Gideon's coat and shoes before placing him on a bed. They saw the mark on Gideon's ankles but it seems like it was already healed.

"Has he shown any other issues on the way here?" Azazel asked and Amias shook his head.

"He hasn't, he woke up briefly to look for Kaiden but fell asleep again. He doesn't seem like he's hurt or anything"

"Well back when we were also teaching him basics to his powers, he'd also feel sleepy right?"

"Yeah" Amias slowly realized the point that Azazel was trying to say.

"Maybe that's his other half trying to stabilize his powers..." he says the theory and Azazel nod in agreement.

"Exactly. Maybe sleeping is what helps activate that side of his, otherwise even when he's awake... it's undetectable"

"what do you propose to do?"

"Just leave him be. He's not hurt, if anything he'll feel better once he's awake" Azazel sighed and leaned on a wall looking at the sleeping figure.

"You're going to report this to Luciel, Am I right Amias?"

Amias didn't bother denying it. Even though he cares about Gideon to some extent, he can't disobey orders. Azazel just shakes his head and took out his phone to type something.

"Who are you contacting?"

"Valerie, she hid about this and she'll most likely get persecuted since it's illegal to hide about these cases you know..." Azazel taps the send button after warning her about it. There could only be so much that Azazel can do regarding this situation.

"The Prince knew about it as well, she won't get that much of a punishment if he gets involved and he definitely will" Amias walks to one of the cabinets in the room.

He opened them and took out brand new gauzes as well as some antiseptics before walking to Azazel. Azazel looked at Amias weirdly before handing out his hand that was bleeding again.

"So unfair..." Amias muttered as he unwrapped the dirty bandage.

"What is?"

"We have shitty consequences like this. Like we can heal you at times but when you use your powers, we can't?"

"At least yours it's not that lethal" Azazel watched Amias clean up his wounds.

Amias paused for a moment before unboxing the fresh gauze to wrap his hand. He wasn't wrong, the worse that could happen to him is that he gets weak enough to succumb to illnesses.

The two were suddenly startled when they heard a groan coming from Gideon. The person, however, just shifted his position to a more comfortable one before going back to dreamland.

"I'll go back to assisting the others. There were a lot of casualties" Azazel states the moment Amias was done wrapping his hand.

"Oh um" Amias called out to the person that was about to leave the room.

"Hmm?"

"What about Yohann? How is he?"

"He... There are people monitoring him and Kassandra is there to make sure he's alright"

Amias nodded and lets Azazel finally leave. He took a seat and moved it closer to Gideon's bed. Just when he was about to relax, Kaiden entered the room.

"Prince Kaiden" Amias greets the person once again.

Kaiden went straight to Gideon's side and checked his condition. He wasn't in any pain and it looked like he was getting better. A sigh of relief left his mouth before he straightened his posture to look at Amias.

"What did you do?" He asked. Kaiden was suspicious of this man sitting in front of him. 

'If he dared to touch Gideon inappropriately while I was away I'll-'

"I didn't do anything.. Did you see any remnants of my powers on him? No? As I said, he just needed to rest. What about you? What did you do?"
