“Huh…?”

He was told something outrageous, and Yō tilted his head, wondering.

In response, Nagisa explained, using both hands.

“I mean, you see, wouldn’t it be easier if you did the same thing to both of them, so that none of them would be jealous?”

“Jealousy you say…!”

“Well, just hear me out, okay?”

Marin immediately tried to protest in response to Nagisa’s words, but Nagisa stopped her with a smile.

“Are you trying to make me look like a scum?”

“Just hear me out. I mean, you’ve already done pretty much the same thing, haven’t you?”

This time, Yō asked the question unhappily, but Nagisa answered it with an exasperated sigh.

This made Yō give Nagisa an argumentative look, but everyone wanted to complain, so Kasumi opened her mouth.

“Of course he can’t do that. I won’t agree to that.”

If Marin were to be treated in the same way as Kasumi, she would be more loved than she was.

Kasumi feared that if Marin were to be spoiled in the same way as her, she would be treated better than she was, and she knew she could never agree to that.

However―

“Are you sure about that? You might not get another chance like this, you know?”

Nagisa’s devilish whisper was directed at Kasumi alone.

She leaned forward and spoke to Kasumi, careful to keep her voice level low so that the other two could not hear her.

“I don’t know what you mea―”

“Think about it, if you can get him to do to you what he’s done to her, that’s simply two people, he’ll be able to spoil you twice as much as before, you know?”

“―!?”

“Moreover, Marin-chan is a spoiled girl after all, and Yō-kun likes to pamper her even if she’s not being honest, so I think you’ll have more opportunities.”

“Nagisa, I’ve always thought you’re a genius!”

Kasumi grabbed both of Nagisa’s hands and held them tightly.

Nagisa smiled at Kasumi as she squeezed her hands.

“That’s a refreshing turn of events.”

“What are you talking about?”

Nagisa smiled almost reflexively and said something sarcastic, and Kasumi smiled back, tilting her head slightly.

Nagisa smiled inwardly when she saw this.

(She really does have an easy personality, doesn’t she?)

It’s just as well that she’s Yō’s childhood friend, Nagisa thought as she turned her attention to the next target.

“W-What is it…?”

Marin, who had been looking at her, was wary of Nagisa when she saw how easily Kasumi had turned her back on her.

She tried to sit up to hide behind Yō, but Nagisa grabbed Marin’s hand as if to say she wouldn’t let her go.

Then she put her mouth close to Marin’s ear, just like  she had done with Kasumi.
