The moment we approached that lump of meat, my body started to glow. Alaine’s body also started to glow at the same time.

I said softly upon seeing the figure being reflected in my eyes after my vision returned. 

There…. The one floating in the air… It wasn’t that huge lump of meat anymore. 

Evil god. 

The evil god was about Alaine’s height with pitch black skin, shoulder-length silver hair and bright red eyes. There were ominous wings sprouting from the back. Numerous tentacles growing from the bottom half of the evil god’s body in exchange for a pair of legs. 

That monster. That monster gave me a strong sense of déjà vu. 

………… So that monster exists here too?

“I see…. What an ominous presence…”

Next to me, Alaine held her sword up warily. Her sword grew bigger and bigger in size as she activated her Heavenly Sword. 

“Magic sword.”

I summoned a magic sword from the palm of my hand and sent it flying. This one blow should be enough to defeat it in the previous other world I was in but somehow I had a feeling that this attack wouldn’t be enough to defeat this current evil god. 

The aura this evil god was clad in was entirely different than the previous one I encountered. This evil god had a similar aura to Alaine and I. It felt like this evil god could destroy this world easily with a lot of leeway.

Sure enough, the magic sword I fired at it was repelled. I didn’t know where it came from but before I realized it, there were fragments of broken stones.
