As Shaw waited for Falco and Leon in the kitchen with Gina and Gold's help, the inn door opened. I'm just about to catch a carriage from another town. Trying to speak to a new customer, Gina said,

"Shit."

and pounded his tongue. Shaw looked at Gina in surprise.

Greetings, Gina.

"I don't know this year, Lila. We've already decided on the Keeper of the North Forest."

"I just stopped by on my journey this year. Just for one night, please for two."

"Well, you can't help it if you're a guest, there's a spare room with a living room, but what do we do?

"There, please"

Gina was, so to speak, a goddess of abundance, but the man was exactly the goddess of battle. Blonde hair tied high, empty eyes. Gear the hunter in a neat position with a good posture. I thought for a moment about a few years old and gave up. Shaw was starting to feel like he didn't care how old people were around here anymore. Until we're as old as our mentors, we can't tell the difference much.

More concerned about Shaw than that is the one with him. Standing still behind Lyla, a big man. Oh, my God, my hair is green. And my eyes are strangely purple. A different world. Shaw accidentally opened his mouth and stared, closing it in advance. This would be rude.

"I'm from the lake swamp. It's rare to come out of that territory."

Gina told me softly. It's a lake marsh, a land of knowledge and magic, just.

"Hal?"

I hear a low voice. The green-haired man was watching Shaw. Hal? Did you say that?

"No, not when you look closely. Hal had straighter hair and felt quieter"

Who are you?

Gina asked.

"Excuse me. Say Dredd. He's a magician in the lake swamp."

As soon as that happened, Gold snapped.

"Mage of Disaster..."

"Oh, you're also known around here, Dredd, not amazing."

Lyla says funny. Dredd doesn't seem interested.

"Dread and I, by the way"

Gina spoke up.

Who's Hal?

"It was last winter, or a brunette picked up in the lake swamp. It has a lot of magic power, so I keep it at the magic school."

The goddess reincarnated me, another child!

"Shaw."

"Yeah. Um, how's the kid doing?

Nodding to worried Gina, Shaw spoke that way to Dread.

"Same shade, but do you know him? It was like being alone all my life."

"I don't know him, but he might be from home."

"Hmm, I'm surrounded by important things. I know a lot about rare things, so draw the professors' interest."

"Good."

Relieved. She doesn't even know her name, but if she's taken care of. I wonder if I can protect people now.

"Here's the key. Dinner as usual."

"Okay, thanks, Dredd"

"Uhm."

There the hunters returned.

"" I'm home! Shaw! "

"Falco, Leon, welcome back"

Shaw sneered and spoke from behind the kitchen.

"Oh, Falco, were you still here?

"Mother..."

"I'm telling you to call me Lila."

Falco got a little stifling. And I glimpsed Dredd better.

"Dredd, it's my son Falco."

"Dread."

"It's Falco. This is Leon."

Hey, it's Leon.

Leon lovingly said. I think it's a little funny.

"What are you doing here, Lila?"

"Falco says hello, too. I don't think he's here to see his son."

"I don't think so"

"Well, I stopped by on my journey."

"Right. Gina, give me dinner."

"Aye."

Lila sighed.

"I can't believe you didn't ask me what my mother was doing."

"To the habit of not even hearing what my son is doing."

Gina gave it back.

"Gina, fine. Sorry, have dinner."

"It's been a long time since I've eaten with you. Dredd, okay?

"I don't mind. Shall I not?"

"That's okay, hey, Falco"

"Leon, Shaw?

The two nodded. Falco has always been faceless. Parents and children in this world say they leave when they grow up, but I feel kind of screwed up nonetheless. And when I say something extraordinary about Gina.

But you shouldn't go into this kind of thing, right? Let's pretend we don't notice and just eat dinner. It's a croissant lizard stew today. Shaw thought so. I love it. It was saved after the summer hunt.

When the Falcos surrounded the table with the five of us, they began eating, albeit dusty. I think it really helped me to have Leon.

"Hey, you're a flaming mage, aren't you?

That's what Leon heard when he was listening to Lila's recent developments and talking about hunting with Leon and Falco. That's what I was saying earlier about being a sorcerer of disaster. Shaw asked Leon with his eyes.

"There are a lot of two names. He said there was a mage with green hair and purple eyes who caught a pretty big flame."

"Well, maybe it's me."

"It's unusual for a lake swamp magician to come outside."

"Well, because you're just a research idiot, I might be a little bit different. Lyla was just about to go outside."

I thought we were going on a journey together.

"Uh, are you two, like, lovers?"

Shaw was about to fall for Stew. No, I'm curious, I'm curious, but do you want to hear that, in front of Falco?

"That's right."

Yes, it is. Falco sounds uninterested. Shaw felt a little awkward, ate more stew and grabbed the bread. Yeah, Croywat lizards taste good for stews. If I had escaped reality, at some point two of my travels would have watched Shaw. Ugh, what?

"Falco, who's this little kid?

I thought Falco would ignore it for a moment. but answered quietly.

"It's Shaw. My adopted child."

"It's Shaw."

Shaw greeted briefly.

"Even though I don't have a real child yet. I can't believe he's an adopted child."

I wonder what it is. I'll be there.

"Because they all help us. I'm trying to do it."

Falco responded briefly.

"Then you have a house."

"Oh."

"Just fine, can you stay tomorrow?

"Huh?"

"That's good, 'cause he's my son."

I do have rooms, though.

"If you are, you are in love with each other, because Shaw's education is not good"

I wonder what you're talking about. Kids don't know.

"I'm not gonna sneak around in front of a kid."

"No, still."

"You have a room, don't you?

"If it's one room"

"That's fine. Please start tomorrow."

Now I know why you're here. This man doesn't listen to people. I saw Dredd. Dredd doesn't care about this exchange at all. Do you know the landlord hates me for taking care of someone else's house?

"... don't make Shaw bother."

"Oh, I'll do about myself."

And Falco can't say no to Lila. Perhaps this has been going on since I was a child.

Shaw doesn't know about the relationship between the two. I'm not even going to talk. But Lyla asked about Shaw, and Shaw introduced herself. And yet Lyla hasn't introduced herself to Shaw. I only see Shaw as a child.

That's all I can say. I hate this guy.
