Chapter 179 Senior Priest

After going through some twists and turns, Moore finally broke into the command post of this low-Earth orbit defense platform.

There were constant gunfire and fierce fighting inside.

The green-skinned army and the Chaos cultists clashed with each other with swords, shouting and yelling, bullets and blood flying freely, and the scene looked chaotic.

Twenty Word Bearers space warriors and thousands of cultists are stationed here. They are well-equipped and highly educated, showing a discipline that is completely different from ordinary magicians.

The murderous fungi launched several charges, but they were systematically neutralized. Green corpses were piled all over the ground, but the results were minimal.

The most difficult thing to deal with was the leader sitting in the center, a senior priest of the Word Bearers.

He wore a set of scarlet and twisted power armor, with evil scriptures written on every inch of the armor.

A pair of sharp horns pierced out from the inside of the helmet, which was the terrifying mutation brought about by Chaos, rather than some external decoration.

A ferocious face was engraved on his chest, as if some unfortunate soul was bound within it, and an orange eight-pointed star of chaos was painted on his crotch, demonstrating his devout worship of the power of subspace.

In terms of weapons, his left hand is equipped with a finely crafted power claw, the claw blade is slowly dripping with warm blood, and his right hand is holding a spiked war hammer, and red lightning can be vaguely seen wrapped around it.

High Priest Corrado is extremely powerful and unstoppable.

He waved the war hammer in his hand, and with just one blow he was able to knock down the three orc boys who rushed forward at the same time.

The boy's bones were shattered after being hit. Two died immediately, and the other was beaten to a disability.

The tenacious vitality and desire to fight still drove the orc boy to keep moving forward. Even if he only had half a body, he still hoped to crawl over and bite the opponent.

However, such behavior could not pose any threat to Corrado. The senior priest raised his foot slightly and crushed the orc boy's head.

Immediately afterwards, another big orc rushed over.

It is huge and muscular, and its violent strength is far beyond that of an ordinary boy.

I saw the big orc jump with all his strength, his body leaping high, like a green comet, he raised the battle ax in his hand and slashed down, trying to take away the life of the leader of the Word Bearers.

However, Corrado calmly raised his power claws, and a bolt of psychic lightning burst out from between his claws.

The big guy was directly hit by the powerful thunder, and the accompanying devastating high temperature roasted him into charcoal.

"We could easily slaughter an entire planet with stupid beasts like this."

The Word Bearers Space Marine on the side said with a smile.

The bolter in his hand had just finished firing a magazine and was being replaced with new ammunition.

The previous total of twenty rounds of bullets brought the number of enemy kills to nineteen, and one shot unfortunately coincided with a teammate's kill.

"Don't be careless, brother, psychic powers reveal that there is an important enemy coming towards us."

Corrado reminded, his voice hoarse and low.

It had been too long since he had received a similar revelation, so he didn't dare to be negligent in the slightest.

His countrymen, however, paid no attention to this.

"I guess it must have also revealed to you how that enemy fell to us."

Before the Word Bearers Space Marine could even finish speaking, his head exploded in the next moment.

It was an attack from a bolter, and its trajectory was extremely accurate.

The headless corpse of the Word Bearers fell to the ground like a doll that had lost its traction string.

The target is close.

A new wave of enemies broke into the command post.

Compared with the previous greenskins, they were larger, stronger, and faster in movement - these were the old guard who followed Maul.

Maul himself was hiding among them, catching the Word Bearers off guard.

"Dark Angel, you actually used such despicable sneak attack methods, which really puts the title of Space Marine to shame!"

Corrado noticed his figure immediately and quickly controlled lightning to fight back.

"Didn't you just tell that guy that my arrival was revealed to you by psychic energy? Can this be considered a sneak attack?"

Moore quickly found cover to dodge, and did not forget to respond.

The scorching thunderbolt streaked through the air in a twisted manner, and finally hit his side, causing a huge explosion.

"Do you think you can win this war, relying on the power of these green beasts? I didn't expect that the eldest son of the legion would be reduced to such a state of disregard for dignity."

The high-level priest knew that such an attack was not enough to kill the opponent, so he chose to continue using spiritual energy to suppress it. The companions around him were fighting with the rushing Old Guard, unable to effectively cooperate with him.

"They are the out-of-control biological weapons of the Ancient Saint, and they are now returning to order." Moore hid behind the bunker and said loudly, "And by staying with them, at least I won't worry about strange horns suddenly growing on my head one day. "

Of course, the release of psychic lightning cannot last forever.

Just as the spell paused, Moore quickly rushed out of the bunker.

As he approached the senior priest, he used a bolt gun to suppress him. The latter used his spiritual energy to erect a barrier and blocked the incoming bullets.

When he was close enough, Moore decisively threw away the gun in his hand, drew his sword, and slashed at the opponent with all his strength.

"The mutation is a manifestation of the blessings of the gods. It makes me extremely powerful. You fake emperor's lackeys have never been able to see this clearly. You avoid the real power out of fear."

Corrado faced the Dark Angel head-on. The power hammer in his hand drew a red trajectory in the air and collided with the incoming sharp blade.

The crisp sound of metal collision came immediately, and the powerful impact caused the surrounding air to tremble.

"In that case, you must be very eager to become those chaos eggs like a mountain of meat, right?"

Maul continued to wield the power sword, the superb sword skills derived from Caliban like a gust of wind.

The decomposition body on the sword emits a light blue light, constantly threatening various vital points on the high-level priest's body.

"Chaos eggs are the fate of those who are disqualified. The gift of the gods is not an indulgence. We need to work hard to get it."

Withstanding the fierce attack, Corrado fought back hard with his war hammer. The brute force contained in it even made Moir's hands hurt.

"Now you know how to endure hardship and stand hard work."

This group of Word Bearers were really talkative, and Maul forced them back with a sword, thus creating a distance of five steps between the two parties.

He suddenly felt a little pity for Wei Mu. That boy would definitely be happy to have some ideological exchanges with these traitors.

"And right now, the reward is right in front of you."

Corrado looked at More with a certain hysterical fervor in his eyes.

Because in the dark, he heard the voices from the subspace, the apostles of the gods whispering to him.

"There is a place for you in the highest heaven, dark angels. They say you are a blessed individual, so lucky."

"So guiding you to convert to Chaos will be my supreme achievement."
