I, Zeus, Don’t Want To Be the King

At the beginning of the universe, there existed only Chaos, an infinite, dark chasm.

Followed by Chaos, Gaia, the Goddess of the Earth was born; followed by Tartarus, the God of Abyss; and Eros, the God of Love. Thus, it marked the beginning of the world.

Chaos then gave birth to Erebus, the God of the Darkness; and Nyx, the Goddess of the Night.

The union of Erebus and Nyx gave birth to Aether, the God of Space and Light; and Hermola, the Goddess of Daytime; the counterparts of their parents.

Gaia created Uranus, the God of Sky; Pontus, the God of the Sea; and Ourea, the God of Mountains.

With the birth of the Gods, the world was created.

The Sky, the Earth, the Sea, the Mountains, the Day and the Night.

After the creation of the world, Chaos reverted back to its origin and fell into a long slumber.

Erebus, the God of the Darkness was incarnated as the Underworld, and Tartarus entered the Underworld becoming the Abyss of Hell.

Nyk, the Goddess of the Night, likewise entered the Underworld.

Whereafter, Gaia proclaimed Uranus the king of gods. But as time went by, Uranus became more and more powerful, ruling as a complete dictator gradually turning more and more violent and headstrong. Uranus even started showing less respect to the Goddess of Earth, Gaia. Uranus’ actions finally aroused Gaia’s discontent and Gaia decided to get rid of Uranus to crown a new King.

Of course, there existed another theory that because of Uranus’ greed and lust for power, he bound Gaia and her children, the Cyclopes and the Hecatonchires, somewhere inside Gaia causing her immense pain. Gaia eventually couldn’t withstand Uranus any longer and asked her son to overthrow Uranus.

In order to overthrow Uranus, Gaia created a very hard and sharp scythe made of adamantium from the deepest parts of the Earth and then called her children, the Titans together, hoping that someone would overthrow Uranus.

Everyone was silent, except for the youngest son, Cronus, who agreed.

With Gaia’s help, Cronus succeeded in overthrowing Uranus, the first God-King, and then was crowned as the second God-King.

The primordial God-King, Uranus, returned to the heavens and vowed to never return back on Earth.

In passing, it was worth mentioning that the blood shed by Uranus after his castration by Cronus gave birth to the three Goddesses of Vengeance, many terrible Giants and three beautiful Eucalyptus Nymphs.

From the testicles that splashed in the sea after Uranus was castrated Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, was born.

The second God-King Cronus, just like the primordial God-King Uranus was a brutal God-King, but unlike the first God-King Uranus, the second God-King Cronus had the protection of Gaia.

Cronus was created by the combination of Creative and Destructive power of Time; also proclaimed as the God of Creation and Destruction of space-time, the Time that devoured everything.

Cronus was successful in overthrowing his father, Uranus, the primordial God-King, and was crowned as the second God-King.

As he overthrew Uranus, the angry God-King Uranus left a prophecy in the form of a curse: ‘Cronus would also be overthrown from his throne by his own children.’

Cronus feared this prophecy so much that for every child he had with his sister and wife Rhea, Cronus ate them.

When the sixth child was born, Rhea was determined to protect the newborn child.

Rhea wrapped a stone in a cloth and lied about it being a newborn baby. Cronus swallowed the stone in one gulp without an ounce of hesitation. Thus, the newborn baby escaped death and was then sent to be raised by Rhea’s uncle, the God of Oceans, Oceanus and the Sea Goddess Tethys, who were one of the twelve Titan Gods.

And the newborn baby’s name was Zeus!

The future King of the three generations of Gods, the God of the Universe, Allfather, the God of Sky and Thunder and the God of Power!

The original Zeus was supposed to be just as it was prophesied, overthrowing his own father and God-King Cronus and becoming the new God-King, but….

An island somewhere above the sea.

A lazy Zeus lay on top of the grass, enjoying the sensation of the fresh breeze.

“Zeus, you’re slacking around here again.”

一With waist-length silver hair and a long white dress wrapped around a luscious body.

Metis, one of the Oceanic Titan Goddesses, the Goddess known for her primordial wisdom, saw Zeus lying on the grass and at once walked over to him, pulling him up from the ground.

“Metis, I have a disease that would kill me if I move, so don’t touch me, just let me lie here like this.”

Zeus’ lazy voice instantly popped up the veins on Metis’ forehead.

“Zeus!!!”

The graceful look on Metis’s face disappeared without a trace.

“Zeus, you fool, do you think this excuse you’ve used hundreds of times will work?”

The direct scolding of Metis silenced Zeus on one side.

“Then how about I change it?”

After hearing this Metis was outrightly exasperated and coughed dryly.

Then Metis turned to Zeus and said, “Shut up and get up for your training, you carry the responsibility of overthrowing the God-King Cronus, do you understand? If you don’t work hard then who will overthrow the God-King Cronus.”

“Whoever wants to go can go, I, Zeus, am not going anyway.”

If it were the original Zeus, then the other party would have definitely chosen to overthrow the second God-King Cronus and then become the God-King himself, but this current Zeus was not the original Zeus.

This was the Zeus who had crossed over and had been reborn.

And more accurately he was the God-King Zeus with his invincible power.

If Zeus had wanted to, he could have easily overthrown Cronus and become the new King of Olympus himself, but unfortunately he had already done that in his previous life, and now in this life he just wanted to live his life quietly and peacefully.

In his last life, Zeus overthrew Cronus and became the new God-King, but the result of that…

Because he was crowned as the God-King, he failed to resist the temptation of indulging in lustful and promiscuous relationships and as a result, he was killed by Hera, Hestia, Demeter and many other wives, and thus was reborn.

So, whoever was interested in becoming the God-King could do it but I won’t.

I will spend my time happily and peacefully for the rest of my life!
