Idiot in Love

NaNa opened her eyes. She was in a dark room that wasn't hers. The apartment has a masculine smell in it. Maybe it was the bed sheet or the blanket, but the place was unfamiliar to her.

She took the time to gather all her thought. Everything seemed off to her.

That's right.

She was inside Jun Liu's room. After the kidnapping incident, she was crying non-stop as the guilt of being unable to save Yi Fei engulfed her. She was given the whole week off by the principal because of the 'trauma' that might come after some strangers nearly kidnaped her.

If anyone wanted to talk about trauma, the person who has a right would be Yi Fei. The one who got kidnapped was Yi Fei, and the one who got injured was Yi Fei. NaNa could only cry; she was just standing there being completely useless.

The people said that it was okay; that it wasn't her fault. Deep down her heart, NaNa couldn't wipe away the guilt. The tears at the corner of her eyes threatened to fall when the doorknob clicked open, and Jun Liu walked inside quietly.

"Ah Jun" NaNa called Jun Liu to let him know that she was awake. Jun Liu switched on the lights. NaNa had to rub her eyes because it suddenly got bright.

"Just wake up? Do you feel much better?" Jun Liu was wearing a white shirt with a short black pant. He walked over to NaNa and put his hand on NaNa's forehead. "No fever anymore."

"I'm okay. I better go back home now" NaNa got up from the bed and tried to go out from the room, but Jun Liu held her hand, stopping her from going out.

"It's late. You should sleep here for today." Jun Liu handed a phone to NaNa. NaNa took the phone and checked the time. I was almost eleven at night. Indeed, it was late. Having Jun Liu to send her back at this time would only trouble him.

NaNa nodded and walked out anyway. She was thirsty. Jun Liu followed her from behind. The layout of the house was the same with Wu Chen's home and NaNa knew where the things were since this was not her first time inside the house.

"Ah Jun, you can stop following me. I only want to get a glass of water" NaNa knew that Jun Liu was worried about her, but she won't try anything. She was thirsty. Jun Liu had an unreadable expression on his face, so NaNa felt terrible.

NaNa realized that it would be useless for her to be sad at the moment. NaNa needed to be strong and not let other people worry about her. She decided that she'll do something to make up for her weaknesses. She couldn't stay sad forever.

NaNa returned to the room after she drank and Jun Liu was still following behind her silently.

"I'm going to get the extra blanket. I'll sleep on the couch." That was the main reason why Jun Liu entered his room in the first place. The house has only two bedrooms but the other room in the house was empty so he could just sleep on the couch.

Jun Liu did not plan on having a housemate or what so he left the room empty without bed or furniture. He never expected that this time where someone else is living in his house would come.

He didn't like the way NaNa felt depressed at the moment. He hoped that NaNa would be alright soon. Jun Liu went over to the closet to take the extra blanket he put inside, but before he could take out the blanket, he was stopped by what came out from NaNa's mouth.

"You can sleep here. The bed is wide" NaNa pointed to the bed. Then suddenly, she felt that the man was staring at her. Then, NaNa realized that what she had just said sound so wrong on so many levels.

That jolted her out of her slump.

"I mean… you sleep on the bed, and I also sleep on the bed, but we are not sleeping together…" NaNa tried to speak, but still, Jun Liu was staring at her weirdly, so NaNa felt that she hadn't explained enough. "We just sleep; we are not doing anything else. Just sleeping okay…"

Jun Liu had a very weird smirk, and now he ambled to approach her, so NaNa became panic. The door of the room was opened so she could dash out of the room if Jun Liu tried something.

"It's not that I want to do something with you… But sleeping on the couch is not good for your backbone…" Jun Liu was getting closer to her. "We are not doing anything…" Jun Liu stopped in front of NaNa. NaNa thought that it was too late for her to run now.

Then, Jun Liu laughed.

"I understand. Why are you so tense?" Jun Liu continued laughing. Seeing Jun Liu laughed would be a rare thing so instead of being angry to Jun Liu for laughing at her, NaNa watched the laughing Jun Liu in awe.

Indeed, Jun Liu is a very handsome and attractive guy – and that attractive guy is her boyfriend. NaNa felt that she must be born under a lucky star to have a handsome boyfriend like Jun Liu.

After some time, Jun Liu stopped laughing and walked towards the closet. He took out three pillows, and a blanket then passed two of the pillows to NaNa. NaNa looked at the pillows on her hands. Did Jun Liu ask her to sleep outside?

NaNa was about to get angry and lectured Jun Liu on the etiquette of being a gentleman towards a beautiful lady like her, but Jun Liu already lay on the bed.

"What are you waiting for? Choose your space and make a pillow barrier" Jun Liu was trying his best to hold his laughter. The expression on NaNa's face when he handed her the pillows was priceless.

To vent out the frustration of being laughed at by Jun Liu twice, NaNa took up two-thirds of the bed and put the pillows between her and Jun Liu as a barrier. She lay down on her side and tried to ignore Jun Liu who was staring at her from his side.
