"Guardian Ant Core?"

Confused because it's the first time something else dropped from the insects, Aldrin took some time mull over it.

However, without any access to the Idle Storage at the moment, he soon dropped it for later.

They're usually rare materials that could be used to upgrade or craft. Furthermore, from what I read through the books I bought and general information provided by the Association, Rift Monsters also dropped them albeit rarer than in games."

The Rift Monster Cores was a rare commodity. As for its uses... the official information mentioned that it was akin to an Energy Refiner's Energy Quintessence. It contained condensed Dimensional Energy mixed with the Rift Monster's Essence.

However, only those Extraordinary Rank or above had the chance to drop them.

The Guardian Ant dropping it proved that Level 21 was equivalent to Extraordinary Rank.

With that prompt appearing in the corner of his eyes after moving to the next area, Aldrin raised his gaze as he scanned the path ahead. There's only a straight path that would probably lead him to the Ant Queen's location. No visible ants could be seen on the said path. However, from where he was standing, he could see that there were gaps on the wall that would possibly lead them to other rooms. Moreover, the path was lit up brightly compared to the previous area.

Aldrin ordered Tank to lead again while the two clones closely followed. As for him, he began assessing their current condition, including himself.

Although it appeared that they won easily against the Guardian Ant, they didn't come out unscathed. Their Battlesuits had cracked in parts that they were hit and Aldrin who retreated much earlier wasn't an exception.

He thought of using his Shadow Clone to scout ahead again but decided against it after a while.

His use of Concepts all this time was quite high. He didn't hold back from using all three Shadow-related Concepts. Even if his real body should be unconscious in the real world, he could somehow feel that his refined energy was close to being depleted. If he summoned Shadow Clones to scout ahead, he'd find himself weakened again after ejecting his consciousness out of this mysterious program later.

Due to those considerations, his plan changed. From conquering the Dungeon, he's going to stop for today.

He also needed some sleep to prepare for tomorrow's lesson.

In any case, he already earned more than a 4th of the IDLE Points he spent.

A few minutes later, after cautiously pushing forward and clearing a room filled with unhatched Ant Eggs, Aldrin reached a Rest Area.

"Tomorrow, I'll finish this Dungeon and move to the next... I know I'm being overly cautious about everything but this is a lot better than being reckless."

After giving the interior of the Breeding Area one last look, he was then prompted to exit the Dungeon. And a few minutes later, after clearing the Ants that spotted them outside the Ant Queen's Lair, he retired for this run and left the Dimension.

As soon as Aldrin's consciousness returned to his body, the first thing he did was to take an elixir before drinking water.

When he's about to check on the new features he unlocked, Aldrin heard a knock on his door.

After checking the current time, he frowned because... Who the hell will knock on someone's door at half-past 2 o'clock in the morning?

People should be sleeping at this moment.

"Finally. What took you so long? Get out of the way and let me in." The Tyrant Princess pushed the door open as she squeezed inside.

That's the first thought that entered his mind as he watched the woman make her way inside his room and nonchalantly sit down on his bed with her legs crossed.

Aldrin immediately followed her and threw the important question. "Excuse me, elder sister. You can't just barge in my room in the middle of the night.

Janet just gave him a blank look before shrugging her shoulders.

"Aren't you the least bit happy? A woman like me visiting your room?"

Aldrin was appalled. "No. Not one bit when I don't even know what entered your mind to knock on my door and come in without even saying the purpose of your visit."

"Hmm? Oh! I was wrong. I should've worn my thin negligee. That way, you'll get what I was aiming for even without saying a word." Janet flashed an enticing smile as she slightly slid the sleeves of her shirt, showing him the flawless white skin of her shoulder.

However, Aldrin was unfazed by it. Janet was purposely acting mischievous and she's bad at it.

Despite being a beautiful woman, Janet was as stiff as a metal rod. She seemed to be great at teasing somebody else but her real experience about things she teased about was close to nonexistent.

"I see. If that's the case..."

Since she resorted to this just to tease him without mentioning her real aim for coming to his room, Aldrin decided to play along and break her act.

Although he had the least contact with women after failing his college entrance exam, Aldrin was no longer a virgin. Furthermore, it's not like he's going to go through with it. The other party was clearly acting to tease him so... he's just going to retaliate in kind.

Back during his assessment to the Association, he only modestly retorted to her but that didn't mean he could be teased by her continuously.

He stepped forward and arrived in front of Janet.

Before the woman could respond to him, he had already grabbed her shoulders and pushed her down on the bed.

And only then did she get a grasp of the situation.

"W-wha?! Y-you! What are you doing?!" Janet almost stuttered as 

Surprised at what he did, Janet's refined energy immediately surged out.

Aldrin expected that so before it hit him, he already retreated away from her.

"Elder sister, I thought that's what you're aiming for. Am I wrong?" He returned a mischievous smile and that immediately made the woman's eyebrow twitch in annoyance.

"Alright! Don't move one step from there. I'm not here for that, happy?" Janet clicked her tongue and fixed her shirt. "Renissa would be sad if I told her about this."

And she threw another dirt assuming Aldrin would bend over again.

"In the first place, you're the one who barged in my room in the middle of the night saying those enticing words. You expected that I would act like an inexperienced guy, right? Too bad, your little brother isn't impotent. And truthfully, your acting sucked... If you're going to tease someone, be prepared to be teased back"

Aldrin preached as he shook his head, acting disappointed at Janet.

Naturally, that's all his act on his part. He still respected the woman who loves teasing the newbies. He just didn't want to be at her mercy again.

After staring at him with narrowed eyes and conflicting emotions, Janet eventually sighed in defeat. "Remind me not to tease you again."

"Alright. My purpose... Let's see. I'm going to give you information in advance."

"Wait, isn't that cheating?"

"What's there to cheat? Everyone can do that. You're my special trainee. I'll make you the one reigning at the top of every rookie." Janet said.

Actually, despite his stellar performance after only three days in the camp, Janet believed that it's not enough to clear the condition her uncle gave her to go back to her previous post.

And that's why she's here to ensure that he'd continue to dominate the camp by paying more attention to him.

'Let's see if that old man would still bully me after showing him the result of my trainee..' She victoriously smiled and Aldrin who was seeing that at the side wondered whether Janet lost her sanity or not.
